We showed up a few minutes early to check in and were told there would be a wait. No big deal so we went to wait outside. About 10 minutes later I went back in to see how much longer and was told our table was given to another party and we’d just have to wait longer. The seater was clearly overwhelmed and was being rude so I just asked if we could sit outside. They took us out and we waited for another 10-15 minutes for water. Thankfully the support staff was helpful, otherwise I doubt we would have gotten any service at all. Our waitress finally came over and took our orders and wasn’t very pleasant. We got the large mimosa for the table and waited for the strawberries that were promised on the menu to arrive but were told they weren’t included with that kind of mimosa. Our food finally arrived more than 30 minutes later plate by plate, also brought out by the support staff. We didn’t have silverware, napkins, or complete meals. The waitress continued to be very standoffish with us as though it was an annoyance for her to wait on us. After all the good things I’d heard, I’m very disappointed in this experience and won’t be coming back. The sentiments are the same for the other 4 people I dined with.
Our waiter Rene was absolutely delightful. The food was amazing, the restaurant is fun, and we all had a wonderful experience.
We made a reservation at 8:15 and we got our table one hour later. Then we ordered our food and it took more than an hour to get everything ready. Besides that food was good as always and we love the concept of the restaurant.
Great experience at Feast today! Loved the mimosas. Steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. Staff was very accommodating so we could sit outside in the sun on this chilly afternoon.
Appetizers were promising but it was all downhill from there. Our ribeye steaks cake out charred to perfection and ice cold! So cold the butter wouldn’t even begin to melt. Sent the steaks back. Flank steaks had the taste of old oil and the filet was drenched in lemon so much so it is all you could taste. Service was slow and no one waiter was in sync. Main course took forever in the meantime we still had some salsa left from our appetizer with no chips. The waiter asked if we wanted more chips and we said yes... well they never came. Potato side was good but have to say after that experience we will never go back... they did remove the 2 ribeye from our bill since we barely ate them. Even with that I wouldn’t want to be disappointed again. It was all around horrible.
They changed their entire menu, I was a little disappointed with the new items. The rest of the dining experience is what I would expect. They went from sharables to full entrees,
Loved the food and the service was fantastic. It was a little loud and the lighting was intense but possibly I’m being an old cranky person.
It was a cold night and I wanted some hot tea with dinner. The waiter stated sadly that "Feast" didn't offer hot tea. When he returned and asked if there was anything else we wanted, I joked that I still wanted some hot tea. He repeated apologetically that they didn't offer it, but 5 minutes later he brought a large cup of delicious peach/peppermint tea that he said he found on a shelf behind some other ingredients. That
over-the-top in terms of trying to give a customer a good experience. I was grateful.
We loved the atmosphere. Very contemporary but comfortable with a little kitsch for good measure. Fabulous cinnamon rolls which was the"donut" flavor of the day. My husband is lactose intolerant and the server was very helpful in choosing appropriate selections for him.
We went to Feast for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and interesting. The service was very good and would definitely come back.
Service seemed a little slow with the traditional water fill and follow ups
It was really great! We were having the old menu before the big change in 2019. It did not disappoint! So good!
The Brussels sprouts were delicious as was the beets. Lamb kebabs were tasty too. Steak wrap was good but messy
We enjoyed our experience very much, is clearly a favorite for locals and visitors, thank you
Best brunch in San Antonio! Food, drinks, and atmosphere are all outstanding.
A bit noisy inside...portions were smaller than we thought, food quality was great, service was great...
Great service. Rene was a real treat.
Brunch with a friend. Very noisy, I'll make it a point to sit outside if I go back. Server was great! Food was lacking. Had the Macho: steak was tasty, eggs were cooked wrong ( sunnyside up, instead of over easy), potatoes had no flavor, bacon was good. Friend had the WT: gravy was cold, biscuits were cold, potatoes luke warm and eggs were also not cooked as ordered (sunnyside up, instead of over easy). Blueberry donuts were delicious! Not going to be on my list of best brunch places.
Really great place!
Delicioso interesante concepto de tapas , todo para compartir, alimentos frescos , bien presentados oso estuvo espectacular
Great food! It was a little noisy but we had a work night.
I am always amazed that I can get a reservation at FEAST. The food is universally creative and wonderful. The only thing better is the incredibly personal service.
I would give 4-5 stars on it all but the weekend we went was super busy. We waited quite a while for service. Which once we did have a server, she was very pleasant. She expedited everything as soon as possible.
Try the Mac n cheese! And personally I love the eggs in hell, it’s a little spicy but very good.
We went after the R&R marathon and Tim did a fantastic job attending to me and my family’s needs. May want to check patio chairs. The back of one chair broke and a kid went flying to the ground, but this won’t stop us from going back! We are in the service industry and understand things happen. Again great food and amazing hospitality!!
Wish I could write about the food but unfortunately after sitting for 20 minutes not one staff member came by. In fact I had to get up and get our own menus. It is a Pretty place with loud outdoor rap music, which throws off the vibe for Sunday but I would of tolerated had there been some sort service.
The food was good but that's the only good thing I can say. The decor is a cool rustic modern eclectic mix, but the seating was WAY too tight, too many people in a tiny space. Servers kept bumping into our table, the people next to us had to move the table and chairs to get out. The service was horrendous. Our food took forever and came out one plate at a time took an hour and a half, it's a tapas place so it shouldn't come out in pieces like that. Nice place to try but not worth it, wont be back.
Food was amazing with each dish better than the one before. Fabulous drinks, pleasant server and overall ambiance. Loved it!!
Love this place! Great food and service. I dream about their mussels.
The venue is decorated beautifully but the prices were steep for a la carte brunch. Mimosa carafe was almost $30. Food was bland and didn’t stand out to me.
We always have an amazing time at Feast! Great food, great service!
Went for an anniversary dinner prior to a show. Ordered multiple small plates - like 6 - and still wasn't full. By small plates, they mean really small. "Feast" is definitely a misnomer. Portion sizes are enough for everyone to get a taste, but you'll need to be prepared to order 8 or more plates to get a feast. It's great social dining, and everything tasted spot on. Drinks took some time to make, but were solid.
Hip little spot with an urban feel, friendly staff, and creative dishes.
All around awesome experience! Excellent service! Tasty food!!!
Overall, the ambiance was great. My husband and I enjoyed being there. The ahi tuna tartare was refreshing. The mussels were equally amazing. The bread pudding was delicious. The steak lettuce wrap was okay, but I think if they used a butter lettuce wrap, it would have been better. Now while the shrimp curry and goat dishes were flavorful, they were just way too spicy. And I love spicy food. I wish you had the option to request the heat level. It would also be good if there was some type of naan like bread to dip in the sauce. Great restaurant, nonetheless.
Very cute restaurant, just poor quality. Menus were dirty, service was bad. Prices high, food only ok. Mimosas were great!
We loved the cuisine! The problem was the noise - we had to yell at each other to be heard. I don't enjoy this. Food and service were very good.
Super Essen in coolem Ambiente. Klare Empfehlung! Preis-Leistung überragend.
Happy Hour vor 6pm!
Feast is fun and the food delicious. Will be back for sure.
Service was way better than in the past. Noise level high even outside, but ambience is always great there.. Menu choices are great, and we got food fast, but it was lukewarm. Good quality otherwise.
