Our waitress Rachel was amazing as she helped us navigate through the menu. The drink menu was OUTSTANDING and the food delish. Lovely ambience too. I've been wanting to try the restaurant for a few years and am glad I finally made the time. (Especially as Un Sq area restaurants tend to be a bit tourist heavy, especially during the holidays, and this place didn't have the tourist vibe.) Just lovely. Thanks!
Service was amazing! The food...absolutely delicious. If you are a foodie, then this is the place for you. The crispy chicken skins were tasty and the lobster dish was an absolite explosion of flavor. I will definitely come back here again next time I visit.
While the food at Feast was very good, it was not good enough to set aside how uncomfortable the dining experience was. The chairs at Feast are a trendy type that I've had to misfortune of sitting in at other restaurants. If you are wide, you're gonna hurt. The only other option is a tall chair at the counter. Hopefully, you're tall enough to make it up without a scene. "Energetic" noise level is a lovely euphemism for very loud. Let's just say, I am not Feast's targeted clientele. Good to know.
We went with a group of 8 people. It took over 20 minutes for us to get our drinks, and they forgot to bring one of the drinks. That drink took another 10 minutes to arrive. The scallops were cooked well, but cold when the dish arrived. The mac and cheese - dry. The best thing were the mussels. Memorable for all the wrong reasons. Left very disappointed.
The tacos, duck, and chocolate desert were excellent. Fried chicken skins great. Scallops were perfectly cooked but salty so you need to add the risotto or carrot puree to the bite. The waitress had a stick up her butt yet she kept the glasses full of water so she got three stars. The ambiance is quaint and bathroom relaxing with it's old farmhouse like decor.
Was very much looking forward to trying Feast -- I've read some great reviews. The ambiance was charming and the menu is succinct.
But my $28 bass was bland and the potatoes were probably the least creative/least delicious I've eaten out in NYC in a while. Our sever seemed grumpy the whole time; it was not busy, and we ordered drinks, starters, mains, two bottles of wine, coffee, and dessert between 4 of us... Would've thought she'd want a nice tip.
I don't leave reviews unless I take issue with the bang for your $$. From my experience, Feast is not worth the $$.
We reserved the "Whole Hog" suckling pig dinner for a group of twelve, and the team at Feast exceeded our very-demanding expectations! The cocktails were scrumptious, with house-made fizzy drinks available to sate non-imbibing thirsts. We're now planning to make Kabocha squash mac and cheese a new comfort food staple. Every dish on the menu was delicious, leading up to the main attraction - a gorgeously roasted 24-pound free-range suckling pig. Thank you to everyone at Feast who made our dinner possible!
This is the 2nd time I've been here and I would go back again and enjoy THE Feast with friends. Love the decor, just wish they had more absorption for sound as it tends to get loud in there. But the food...AH-MAZING! While I was enjoying my entree, when my neighbors meal was delivered, it smelled incredibly delicious! Service was outstanding. Would highly recommend!
My birthday . Found and service were excellent but I expected much larger quantities of food for the price. Ate therewith my 4 bottomless pit teenagers expecting ( based on the name and price) that they would continue to bring each dish until we could no longer eat any more. That wasn't the case. None of us were stuffed when we left.
I went for NYC restaurant week 2017 dinner with a couple of friends. I had carrot gravleaux for appetizer - yum as they come! Really simple dish that was elevated by the texture rendered to the carrots. I had duck done two ways, served with blueberry sauce and risotto, another delicious dish and the duck was perfect. I had the chocolate creameux for dessert. That was a little salty for me, and really an okay dessert - nothing special.
The service was great, and the ambiance perfect for conversations with friends. We spent more than a couple of hours there.
Went to Feast for restaurant week and had a very, very positive experience there. Great food, service, and ambience. The pork belly dish was fabulous and the potato skins were to die for. Really looking forward to going back!
What stuck out to me was how top-notch the service was. Bussing, refilling water, replacing silverware, folding your napkin when you go to the restroom, checking in on each dish... these small gestures aren't standard anymore and the servers at Feast are doing this marvelously!
My wife and I ate dinner here to celebrate our anniversary. We both ordered off the restaurant week menu, which is well balanced and good value to boot.
The highlight of the dinner was clearly the UniCorn taco; sea urchin on a scallion pancake tortilla. It was astoundingly good. This alone made the dinner.
We would definitely return, and would try the tasting menu.
Treated an out-of-towner to a restaurant week dinner--and we both loved the food. Ambiance is much livelier upstairs than down, and the decor simple. We had great service, carefully prepared savory combinations of food, timely delivery and enjoyed the beer and special sodas. The mixed drinks looked very intriguing, for another time! Would definitely go again, and worth it even if you don't live in the neighborhood. Fairly casual environment, better than casual food.
The food creations were great and the portions were perfect. I had the Cacio e Pepe and the Chocolate Cremeaux for dessert - heavenly. I was there on a Tuesday and have reservations again for Friday - Yes it was that good! Unique cocktail options - I believe mine was the Inherent Vice - ingredients I would never think to put together, but I'm glad they did!
Our waitress was so helpful in assisting us with our decisions and kept checking on us.
Visited Feast for a family dinner. There were 12 of us and the staff couldn't me more accommodating or attentive. The food was wonderful. The service (Margaret) was perfect – not obsequious and not too standoffish, but friendly, amenable and efficient. And if you get a chance, order the Modern Times – kind of a grapefruit negroni.

The food was decent and it is cute inside. Service was overall ok, however, they don't list their prices for a la carte. Their menu said bottom less cup of Joe. My husband had a few iced coffees (small glasses completely filled with ice, so very little coffee in the glass). The bill came and it was $8 for his two ice coffees. I mentioned it to the server, she oddly shrugged and said "sorry, bottomless is only for hot coffee". She should have mentioned this when he asked for a refill. Not a great way to do business. It turned us off and we will not be back. I wouldn't recommend.
