I don’t understand why chefs feel the need to cover the natural flavor of food with heat. Luckily I could get my hot honey on the side. My husband was not so lucky. Service, the wine and ambiance were wonderful!

I'm so happy to be giving this review. Everything was wonderful, and even though one of the breakfast tamales wouldn't be available until later when it was steamed, I chose the Farmer's Omelet and it was truly perfection. That, and two Cafe Cubanos and I was a very sated gourmet.

Service takes forever. We had to flag down our waitress whenever we needed something because she never came to check in. Food was overpriced and my sandwich tasted way too sweet for a breakfast sandwich. Overall it was just okay.

First let me say that Feast has been one of my favorite restaurants since I moved to Bloomington 3 years ago. I especially like bringing friends from out of town. That said, I hate giving this rating, but, this was my recent experience at a noon Sunday brunch (and I have been to brunch, let alone dinner here, many, many times). We had made a prior reservation and had requested a booth by the window, only to be seated at a table in the middle of the dining room because as was explained to us " the couple in front of you also requested a booth and so they've been seated in the one we had for you because, unfortunately, we have a patron in the booth that was reserved for them and this patron tends to linger for hours ( yes, you read that right). It wouldn't be so bad, but, for whatever reason, the restaurant directs all diners checking in to come up to the front of the restaurant, instead of at the podium they have at the entry door. Why this is problematic is that this is a VERY SMALL restaurant with tables crowded together in the middle of the room and arriving patrons tend to weave through the tables bumping into the people already seated and dining...more often than not...and this is why the booths are premium requests. Anyway, I suggest that the management of Feast start charging a "booth fee' for anyone lingering beyond an hour and a half--and please start using the hostess stand by your entry door--this would eliminate the unnecessary parade of arriving diners bumping into the diners trying to enjoy their food. (And the food at Feast is consistently outstanding)...and, by the way, to the patron "who tends to linger for hours", if you're reading this, have some awareness of others also here to dine and enjoy a meal and don't hog the booth! And, please do your part when you patronize this gem of a restaurant so that Feast can accommodate all of its customers well. Sheesh

Wonderful seasonal food like sweet corn risotto. Food consistently excellent over many meals there. Baked good and desserts also really delicious - chocolate pot de creme a particular favorite. if you need wine help, ask for Rachel.

Service was great, despite the din. Chair was uncomfortable. Wine was excellent, as was the salad. My wife had to scrape off the heavy, heavy layer of mustard. I found the flatbread (aka, pizza) much too heavy and greasy.

We love the crepe board and charcuterie board which you can’t get at any other brunch place in Bloomington. That being said, in the past they have replenished bread and crepes. We requested more crepes and were very surprised they added quite an up charge. I think they’ve managed to price us out. Two boards and one orange juice $60 including tip. Lucky we didn’t order special coffee or drinks.
