The restaurant was slow with only 2 tables full. Serving sizes were good.
Dinner on Friday night was delicious. The service and food was very good. It was quiet and seemed a bit slow for a Friday night. Glad we went and could converse without having to yell over other tables.
Good food, was very noisy at lunchtime so not so conducive for talking.
Not sure why this has such bad ratings on Yelp. I go here almost once a week. Always a good experience and great place for business lunches.
I've been there a few times just because it is conveniently well located for work related lunches. However, I've never been impressed with the food much less for the price they charge. I'm somehow familiar with Persian food, and unfortunately this one doesn't make it to my list of favorites.
The quality of food left a lot to desire about. Even after I complained and did not finished my food, they charged me for a full dish. Very disappointing. I liked the ambiance and the location but the food is getting worse.
Good food and service. Only negative was the high noise level.
Fast service good food
Good for business lunch and dinner. Parking could be problem. Less crowded than the other location in Sunnyvale. Food quality is excellent.
The food quality has room for improvement
Fantastic service and great food. Choices for all including vegan and GF.
It was a pleasant experience at Faz. The staff was courteous and helpful. The Lamb is outstanding
Excellent food & host. Everyone loved the food and the atmosphere for our business luncheon with 9 people.
Keep up the great work!
Came in on a Friday when the Christmas holiday crowd was in full swing and got seated quickly and served pretty fast too. Food was excellent.
Our work group had our holiday lunch here
and it was very nice. I originally reserved a table for 6, but they were very accommodating when I requested a table for 8 last minute. The service was spot on and we all really enjoyed our meals. The only drawback was the noise level which made it difficult for all to hear. I had no problem finding vegetarian options which I really appreciate. No complaints here!
Food and ambience was great. There was a delay in attending us at the start
Good food, decent service at a high price.
Excellent food and one of the few places in Mountain View with parking at lunch
In town for work so booked a table for one. They had it ready but also offered bar seating. It has a pleasant buzz, but could be considered loud by some. The service was excellent and the food was superb. Hummus and tabbouleh seem simple but when done well you can tell. Faz does them well. I had the chicken kabobs which were tender and flavorful. They even accommodated my request for a skewer of grilled red onions and peppers. The price was very reasonable—especially in San Jose. I would recommend Faz to anyone!
The manager and server crew are very engaging. Thumbs up
Wonderful experience. Visiting our son in San Jose. We’re from Greenville,SC. Reasonably priced. Waitresses and Waiter were terrific. The owner Faz stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our meals. Great place. Found it on open table and decided to try. Prices under 30. What’s not to love. Great specials by the way. Nice selection. Hope to return again when in town.
Great service and food was excellent. Management and servers were on top of everything.
Food was great as usual. Our server Jason was attentive & fast. The manager Frank as always took care of us too
It is actually a bit difficult to find moderately priced restaurants in the San Jose area that have good food and ambiance. Faz fits that bill and is good for both lunch and dinners.
Excellent service and food is best of all the FAZ restaurants in the Bay Area.
Chicken kebob was dried and hard to chew. This time was very disappointing.
Lamb shank had no flavor at all. Rest of the food was ok
Marco Polo pasta good. Pizza good. However, the two lamb kabob dishes were over cooked, dry and without flavor. Lamb should be tender and melt in your mouth. Not like prior experiences at Faz.
We made a reservation for outdoor seating but no tables were ready for it. However, They prepared for us very quickly. We dine there with our dog. Bit noisy facing Tasman but there is a wall between their outdoor seating area and side walk so it feels little private.
There were no many people dining in especially consider that was Friday night but the food was very good! We ordered hummus plate, beef kabob and stew of the day. Everything was very satisfactory. Portion was generous and we all packed up enough for another meal. We would love to come back:)
Love there fish dishes. Moist and accompanied with great veggies
It wasn’t crowded. We had three waitresses waiting on us. The service was definitely five stars. The food was great too. We had smoky bacon pizza, faz salad and chenjeh (beef kabobs). Every dish was delicious. We’ll definitely come back.
Excellent food and excellent service, just like the other branch in Sunnyvale. Will repeat !
Faz has a terrific menu with primarily Mediterranean dishes that all will enjoy.
The chicken skewers are quite good and they can add a grilled red onion if you ask.
I've been to this restaurant several times with groups of 3-4 or groups of 15-20. They've accommodated us well and I've always felt taken care of. The food is great and the staff stay on top of your table. However, this last time, I was there with a group of 10 and due to the amount of people in the restaurant, we were having to yell in order for the person seated right next to us to hear us. It made simple conversations impossible and was a less than relaxing experience. I'd have gone somewhere else had I known.
The space is open and the time we went was quite. Food here is decent with very large portions. Be prepared to pig-out or share with someone.
Grace is the best!!!!!!!
Really enjoyed the restaurant. Both for families and date night, the atmosphere is awesome, and very welcoming. The food is fantastic!
The Cosmopolitan was salty and not chilled enough, we complained to the waitress, she came back with another glass and told very sorry the bartender added the salt he thought was sugar in the drink.
The flat bread was cold and hard, we asked the waitress to bring some warm bread, waited for more than 10 mins and came the same cold and hard plate.
The battered calamari was totally plain without any flavor and salt added, and it came wrapped under a folded napkin on the plate!!
Lamb shank was stewed only and totally no flavor at all, the mixed rice under was cold and hard too.
Filet Mignon in the Chenjeh was so well done and with totally charcoal burned veggies on the skewer.
The waitress brought desert menu and told, they did not have tiramisu and cheese cake.
We, group of 5, came around 7:30 for Sat night dinner, just us and another table of guests. So empty, maybe that's why the moonlighting cook and bartender were on duty!!
The food & service as excellent as always
