Service was terrible! We still tipped good (>20%), but we’ll not go back!
Great location for business meetings- very quiet. Excellent quality food.
Very good food. Very good selections.
My family and I went to Faz to celebrate earning my graduation from college. We were well taken care of and the quiet atmosphere was perfect to spend time with family.
The new Family Share menu was good value and had good choices.
Meal was way overpriced. A lot of the food in the buffet was dried out. Nothing was labeled so you didn’t know what the items were. Even the coffee carafes were unlabeled so you didn’t know which contained hot water, regular or decaf. The cream and sugar were empty. The dessert level was at the bare minimum, felt like we were getting leftovers. Tables had paper on top of them. No table decorations. No high chair or booster seat for our one year old. No way was the meal worth the $300 we spent for 4 people.
The mother's day buffet was simply not very good, most things were left out too long and were overcooked and dried out. That's simply not acceptable for a $52/person buffet.
I think Mimosas should be included in the price, they make a brunch
We went for Happy Hour and then decided to stay for dinner. The food, atmosphere and entertainment were all very good. The service was excellent.
Very slow service.
Food was luke warm
Salads were good.
Pizzas tasty but barely warm.
I will not return to Faz.
The food was not tasty at all. Asked waitress if there was fresh squeezed juice as advertised on the menu. She said yes orange juice. It was not fresh squeezed. My son had the breakfast buffet. They took away the food at the buffet station before he had a chance to get a second plate. They came around once to refill the coffee before they brought the check. The ceiling corners had large cobwebs. We are not coming back.
All aspects of our meal were great. We were first guests of the evening so no noise except us for half an hour. Salmon special was delightful and Persian short ribs legendary. Faz is a go-to for us.
The service was good. Great salads and champagne. Gluten free menu would be welcomed addition.
We were there for the Easter brunch and we had a wonderful experience as we always do!
Excellent food and drinks. Great fir family dining
It depends on the occasion. I would not go for personal reason.
One, there is few vegetarian options. We were told of 2: Ravioli or Veggie Kabobs
Two, the food is okay for the price, though falafel is very good.
However, we like the ambience. It was spacious and quiet. Maybe it was Monday. This may be a good place for corporate gathering where there money is not much of an object.
The food is good, the bread is great! I ordered blackened cod but it was too Spivey for me.
Service was courteous but very slow. Our waiter disappeared after we got our food. We were in a hurry for the check and told him we had to leave but we still saw him chatting and laughing with the host. Other than that it was good.
The manager Shannon, and our waiter, were the BEST!! They made my sister-in-law's 76th birthday,
Real Special!! Thank you both, for everything!
I really recommend this restaurant, it is very good and the service is excellent!!
Nice lunch menu, very cordial service
First time at this location. Valentines Day dinner so service was slow. Serve staff was literally running around so no lack of effort. Food was excellent. Was delighted when a random server brought me sumac seasoning w/o me asking. I’m Asian looking so maybe I pronounced koobideh in a way that tipped off that it is my favorite dish. We will be back!
Service was terrible and so was the food. We had to grab our waiters attention to even order appetizers. And once we had the waiter finally at the table we order our dinner and drinks just Incase he never came back. Overall we were very disappointed.
All employees looked so confused. Seems like they were panicked and didn’t know what they need to do. From beginning to end service was really bad even after complaining to the desk manager. First didn’t so up anyone for almost 25 minutes after we were seated. Before taking order they didn’t provide drinks menu. We ordered starter, salad, entree. Even before serving drinks they served starter and salad. Then after asking for for drink order they bring drink. Asked for complimentary bread they said ok but never got it but instead we were served with our entree whereas we just started with our first starter. Imagine how embarrassed I was infront of my partner. Any way food was better than the service.
Good restaurant. I’ll go again
The server missed part of the order and didn’t come back to check on us for over 10-15 minutes. We had to wave 3 times during our time there to get the server’s attention.
Food is excellent with an atmosphere to match. Very impressive
Perfect night for a Vslentine’s day dinner. Best lamb rack and double cut pork chop in our dining history. Quince fruit with the pork was terrific
We invited a friend and we really appreciated the very friendly staff. We were surprised of the good quality of the entrees. The sample of desserts was great. Thank you
We went to Faz with some trepidation and an air of inevitability; the former since it is collocated with the Four Points Pleasanton (our experience with hotel collocated restaurants has been patchy) and the latter because it was the only one open in the vicinity at half past nine in the evening. Thankfully it turned out to be a good choice. We were the only diners at that time on a slow weekday (no question of noise) so we had the benefit of undivided attention from the service staff and the kitchen fulfilled our order in double quick time.
We stuck with salad, starters and pizza all of which were delicious. The hummus starter was exceptional with the right level of its coarseness showing expertise and attention to detail. We will perhaps reconsider the 'no hotel restaurant' position the next time we stay in Pleasanton.
Excellent service and excellent food. Ambience not the greatest.
Great Sunday brunch - NOT crowded
Good menu selection
We will return
I loved the soft live jazz at the bar. Great stop off frm the commute. Was surprised by all the empty tables. The Persian stew was a bit too authentic and blanched veggies were under cooked. Will come again and try something different.
Very enjoyable environment, with great food and service
The service was horrible, we had to wait for about 30 minutes for our first drink order. They were out of several basic premium labels. When our order finally came, one of the cups was filthy, another had a hair on it! The bread was only given after we asked for it. All meals were served together except for two. One of them arrived after about 10 minutes except for a simple ravioli dish that took another 5 - 10 minutes. Three of us ordered the same dish and when they arrived, none of them looked the same as some were missing major components. Another person ordered the pomegranate chicken. It was served without the rice and no pomegranate sauce! We had to send that back as well! The rack of lamb ordered by three others was fatty and tasteless. The food was sub par. This was New Years Eve so the menu was limited to fewer items. Since they couldn't get those few dishes right, I would hate to come here when they were serving a full menu. When we were finally ready to leave, we gave our credit card and had to wait another 20 minutes for it to be returned. There were a lot of empty tables so I am not sure why the service was so slow. We will not be back.
Terrible service and charged me over $50.00 per person for a lousy buffet. I had to chase after the server to get me a cup of coffee. Throughout the entire meal, I saw my server twice and that was it and one of the time was him giving me the bill.
Unfortunate Christmas Eve holiday dinner. Have been really happy here many dining experiences over many years. Something has either changed it was a horribly off night. Enough do that I will not go back. Didn’t want to ruin our holiday get get together by sending back 4 out of 7 dinners so we just counted the dinners as a loss. Two ordered lamb medium. Around $35 each both literally blood rare. Couldn’t even cut it or eat it. I had salmon seemed like it would be good. A few bites in and I was pretty much eating sushi. Cold and raw. Didn’t want to get sick, so didn’t eat. Turned to the mashed potatoes, and they weren’t bad but they were ice cold. The servers brought us four full trays of food/orders that weren’t ours every time trying to figure out who at our table had ordered what. I don’t understand what was happening . They were getting frustrated with US but not our food LOL! The joke continued when they did bring our food they did not give one person the right meal. They looked as is strangely when we would say that is not what I ordered. Musical dinners. We were sat next to a large group of maybe 20. Half were kids probably under 8. Not so unusual right? Except the adults all left after dinner leaving a whole table of fighting screaming kids for an hour. The servers never recognized we were in a bad situation with problem order or seated in the kids fighting section. Told my husband to pay the bill and don’t ruin my evening by telling me how much it was, ever! (I’m sure it was over $300)
I’ve been meeting with friends/family every year for aholiday get together and this year was great. Food and service were excellent, the server and owner even brought us over a few dessert plates as a thank you for making this our destination every year. Great food, great service, great place!
Diane was fantastic! We had a later reservation but all the food was still fresh and everything was delightful! Will be making this place our Thanksgiving tradtion. 🦃
