Helmed by Chef Erin Shambura (formerly of L'Artusi) and restaurateur and wine expert Joe Campanale (formerly of dell'anima, L'Artusi, & Anfora), Fausto is a Brooklyn restaurant with an Italian soul. Chef Shambura's regional Italian dishes and house-made pastas paired with Campanale's critically-acclaimed wine program, coined "one of the country's most exciting," creates a dining experience that is both familiar and fresh, warm and convivial. The heart of the restaurant is centered around two wood-burning ovens that coax flavor out of simple, seasonal ingredients. Fausto's interior, designed by Brooklyn-based Home Studios, incorporates clean lines and modern proportions to create a nuanced, upscale informality.

Food was excellent and Fausto strikes the perfect balance between a homey atmosphere and enjoying a meal you didn’t cook yourself. Would absolutely recommend for either a quiet weeknight dinner or special occasion with the ones you love.

Loved our dinner at Fausto! We had our 3 year old along and they were super accommodating with a beautiful kids pasta while we enjoyed a nice dinner. Ordered pesto pork meatballs, littke gem salad, braised chicken cavatelli and a beautiful lemon ricotta cake and pear sorbet for the littke guy! Food was amazing, service A+, and loved the cozy fall vibes.

This is the ever reliable go-with-friends spot. Something for everyone and smiles all around. Just something about this place that really "gets it." Highly recommend.

Food was FANTASTIC- farm to table and all that- but the pairings of seasonings with vegetables was really great and unusual. The service was lovely- attentive but not in your face. I will go back again and again.

Went with a few friends and had a fantastic time. The pasta was unreal and the service was professional but personal and friendly. I highly recommend.
