As always, fantastic food and great wines Fausto. The service was wonderful. One of our favorites
Service was excellent! Brought our 8&10 y/o and were treated so well! Food was great and unique!
We're very happy you and the family had a great time! Thanks for the love and can't wait to see you all again!
Incredible, innovative cuisine! Wonderful service. Personal visit from chef. Wine guy answered every question we had and was extremely knowledgeable.
Service was slow, and would prefer the lights to be a tad dimmer to create more ambience and intimacy.
Great meal. Fausto always delivers. Great environment and people who genuinely care. Very accommodating when we wanted to do half glasses of wine with each course but without being overwhelmed with alcohol. We'll be back soon!
The food was excellent. However, we ordered herbal iced teas which tasted like bad water. I sent mine back and asked for a cappuccino instead, while my husband just didn’t drink his and ordered a cappuccino as well. When the check came, we checked, after paying, to see if the teas were removed from the bill. Nope. Two $4 teas remained at $8 - more, expensive even then the burnt-tasting cappuccino. On the way out, I asked our server why the teas were not taken off the bill and was told because I didn’t specifically ask for them to be removed. Fausto is basically a pretentious coffee shop with a good chef. We will not return.
We both tried the 3-course dinner and we both loved every bite. The food was top notch. Our server was helpful in keeping us on time for our show at the Arnoff following our meal. The only thing I would change is the blinking light/art installment at the museum entrance - it detracted from our dining experience.
Went before seeing a show at the aronauff.
We ordered the choice of 3.The ceasar salad and Salmon were cooked perfectly! Love them! I have Celiac so I can't have gluten. The desert without the granola was weird and bitter. Because of my allergies the deserts weren't for me. You need a chocolate flourless torte with a berry drizzle. We will be back because everything else was lovely!
Untraditional atmosphere in the CAC lobby. Food was well done but will question returning because of the service we received. Server was not attentive at all and made us feel like we were bothering him whenever we got him to come to the table. An example is our drinks sat empty for quite some time until we had to flag him down to get us another. Given the price point of the restaurant we expect service at a higher level than we received.
Fausto was a late choice for Valentine's Day. While the food was good and the prices reasonable, the ambiance is terrible. Felt like we were in a cafeteria. We won't go back.
If you’ve never been, you’re missing out. This is a restaurant that truly supports local farmers with the freshest ingredients combined with a chef’s incredible vision. Beautifully crafted wine list. Thank you Fausto for this wonderful gem. We’re lucky to have you and we look forward to our next meal.
Aw, thank you so much for the love. We are so happy you enjoyed and we cannot wait to have you back in!
Really great food--fresh and delicious and a great, great setting. I really recommend this restaurant-I like that it feels young and creative. My only tiny feedback would be that the pasta portion was small and the waitstaff/hostess staff never offered coffee or after dinner drinks or said goodbye/thank you on the way out. These are just minor tweaks-don't let this prevent you from visiting this great restaurant!
Fausto never disappoints. We all appreciated the fresh, seasonal offerings procured from local farms. Everyone loved their food. The team makes every dining experience feel special. We are truly blessed to have this city gem!
Thank you so much for the love! We cannot wait to have you back in!
Wonderful first visit! Loved our girls night out!
Amazing - as always.
First visit, but it won’t be our last. Outstanding food and service and reasonably priced. Cool location in the Contemporary Art Center with convenient parking nearby.
Creative with a classical foundation. A most pleasant dinner in a convenient and interesting location.
Great food, cocktails, and service. The only negative is The space is a little big for the restaurant.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Fausto. Everything was wonderful from the house cocktails, lamb tartare appetizer, rabbit pasta, pork main dish, chocolate torte desert and capuchino from the $30K expresso machine. Get the 3-course price-fixed menu so you can try multiple items.
Good food but pricey for what you get. Drinks were also pricey, small and needed more liquor in them. Menu was a bit confusing too. Atmosphere was open and contemporary. Kind of nice actually. Not typical restaurant ambiance. House salad was excellent, rabbit ravioli was tasty but needed more. Go there once to try but will not return.
Awesome combinations of flavors that deliver an excellent experience for the palate. Helpful staff, attentive management and neat ambiance
Wine choice very good. Salad tasty but hard to eat....pieces too big. Scallops had too much salt on them.
Excellent dinner on a busy Saturday night. Met by friendly hostess who put us at a perfect table (we had requested a particular table on the app). Excellent waiter who answered all our dietary questions and got us out in good time for the performance at the Aronoff. The menu was enticing. The servers were attentive with water, silverware. The food was excellent, small portions so the $39 three course menu was a good idea.
Only suggestion would be to add the new designations after each menu item like GF, V etc to give problem diners (me!) a starting point instead of badgering the waiter with my endless questions.
Even cocktails prior or dessert and coffee after a performance. Excellent experience.
Don't let the unassuming space fool you - this is one of the best restaurants in Cincinnati and the $39, 3-course menu is a great way to taste a lot of it. Thank you Fausto, for such an amazing meal!
What a wonderful new restaurant! The food was creative and delicious, the servers were conscientious
and the setting of course was unbelievable. I couldn't ask for more
Lovely, interesting menu featuring contemporary options. We were happy with the choices and the flavors, especially the unexpected excellence of the bread and sherry butter. Yum!
However, our soups were not hot, nor were they served on a dish under the bowls. But it was delicious. I think that you can improve the little things, i.e. how things are brought to the table. And perhaps, a visit by the server after a few moments of being served (for instance, we would have asked for the soup to be warmed.
Thanks for asking!
Birthday celebration was awesome, service was great as well as was the playing of the food! Will repeat soon!!
Amazing food and service, but very small portions.
The food was delicious but not worth the money. My husband and I shared the Caesar Salad, he got the linguini and clams, and I ordered the ravioli (I got 5 ravioli for $19.00). We each had a drink and our bill with tip was $90.00. I left hungry.
Food was very good. It is a quiet place that lends itself to conversation. Server was very attentive, but was not as knowledgeable as I would have expected for a restaurant like this, both on the food and especially on the wines by the glass.
One particular disappointment was the scallop entrée. For a $29 price I expect more that two scallops. They were outstanding, but it looked like an appetizer. Most restaurants in my experience serve at least three and sometimes more.
I’ve been meaning to get here sooner, but tonight was more than worth the wait. Took my lovely lady on a pivotal date night to this fine establishment and was most certainly not disappointed. The atmosphere was outstanding, Austin & Tony of course made us feel more than welcome and like family and Ian was an outstanding host of our evening. The food was spectacular- everything was cooked to absolute perfection. The wine was sensational and our Apple deserts were delectable works of art. Hands down one of the most absolutely fantastic dining experiences of my life. Thank you all for making our evening truly wonderful and forever memorable!!!
Great food, amazing prices
It was our first time dining at Fausto and we loved it. Their menu is small but varied and they have great cocktails and wines. We will be back.
The food was excellent and the space was very unique. The waitstaff was very attentive and charming, the food was delicious, would definitely recommend the 3 courses for $39.
If you go before the CAC closes you can view the exhibits and enjoy dinner at the same time!
We’ll definitely be back!
