   My husband and I shared our meals, we had foie gras, fried brusslesprouts, scallops, and a lamb dish. All were excellent. We both had dessert also. The ambiance was small and intimate, perfect for date night. We will definitely eat there again and bring friends.

   Food was 4/5 stars but overall a great experience made up the wonderful ambience and great service. Cocktails were on point. Came with two young kids as well - staff was excellent in understanding this. Absolutely would go again.

   The menu is so exciting. Nice to see things like monk fish on a menu in Milwaukee. The food runner got my dining partner’s salad wrong but quickly fixed it. Drinks a bit too long to get to the table after ordering. Still had a good experience.

    Food was fine bu nothing special. We have escargot egg roll, it only tasted like typical egg roll. Our short rib was cooked perfectly but sauce was too strong, not a good match. Happy hour was only available at bar... overall, fine experience but probably won’t go back again. Oh, We said it’s birthday celebration but nothing was done.

    Server was great. Service overall a little slow. Cute atmosphere. Liver mousse was to die for. Mussels good. Flavors in the French onion soup was best we’ve had in the city. Beet salad was delightful. Chicken dish was recommended and wouldn’t be something we’d normally order, flavorful, crispy and salty. Duck confit was amazing!

    The team at Fauntleroy has a very diverse and creative menu. Everything we had was well prepared and especially loved the fois gras while the potato dumpling was a brilliant take on a pierogi. The service staff is fun and helpful. We will continue to go back anytime we're in Milwaukee.

    This was our first visit so we were not certain what to expect. As it turned out this was a great visit all around. We ate from the shareables menu, which was fantastic. As a side note try the potato dumplings. The service was very good and we really enjoyed the background music from the 70s and 80s. My suggestion-try Faumtleroy you will not be disappointed.

    Restaurant was good, but not great. Reservations were a bit messy. Wanted the duck, they were out of it. Steak was excellent. My girlfriend really enjoyed it. We will be back. I think they just have growing pains.

    A wonderful restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, Valentine's Day and a Birthday. Our meal was excellent, atmosphere quiet and comfortable and our servers were very attentive. Nice venue to enjoy a great meal.

    Had not been to Fauntleroy since it had opened and was looking forward to trying it out. Table was ready early and we were seated right away. Cool space. Friendly staff. Chicory salad was underwhelming. Oily dressing left the green soaking. The goat cheese curds did not do anything for the salad -I was expecting a light batter with a gooey center but they were hard and salty like they had been fried in old oil. Generous portion however. Main course was good -husband had steak frites and I had scallops. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Steak was also cooked perfectly. Fries were pretty salty. Service was good -apparently the kitchen was a bit backed up so a manager kept us informed but we really hadn’t noticed -actually enjoyed the pacing and the time to talk between courses. Overall a good experience -however I think there are other places in Milwaukee that are much better.

    Our first experience at Fauntleroy won’t be the last. The meal and service were fantastic. I had scallops and companion had short ribs. Too good to share. We also tried the gougere appetizer which was described as a mini cream puff filled with cheese fondue. Excellent. Bonus was that bottles of wine were half price. Disappointed to find that they are not open for lunch on weekends as we would go back.

    My bottom line is that I would not run back to have dinner again. Perhaps my expectations were too high. But let's start with the good or mostly good.. When we arrived we were offered 3 choices of seating.We opted for a high-sided booth which was perfect for quiet conversation and a sense of privacy. three ordered the scallops, which were good. The 4th ordered gruyere filled gougere and French onion soup. Neither was memorable - both disappointing. Wednesday was 1/2 priced bottles of wine - pleasant surprise, as was an excellent Pinot Blanc. The four us split an creative desert - froyo with a berry sauce and candied pistachios. Prices were fair. So what was not so good - just a few little things that simply added up to the reason I wouldn't run back. When we arrived at 5:30, there was one to greet us and take us to a table. We waited a few minutes until the bartender made some drinks before coming over. Service was inconsistent throughout the evening. Our primary server allowed us plenty of time to converse, while keeping an eye on the time as she was aware we had tickets to a 7:30 show. It was the other wait staff who failed to deliver a requested baguette until we were finished with our meals. When three had finished their scallops, their dishes were rudely taken away. leaving the fourth to finish his soup with the rest of the table cleared. When we left, no one said thanks for coming. In this case the hospitality did not meet expectations. I would recommend Fauntleroy to a friend with reservations.

    We waited a long time for our food. We were eventually served the wrong salads. Then while waiting for the main entree a server asked if it was someone's special birthday. It happened to be my wife's birthday. We said yes, and they proceeded to bring her a cake. We explained that we hadn't even gotten our main course yet. They then realized they had mixed us up with someone else. When we received our meals, the food was mediocre at best. Overall disappointing.

    Our group of girls went to celebrate a special birthday dinner. After being seated in the back room, we realized we would need a table in the front of the restaurant to enjoy talking to each other and being able to hear our conversations. They were very accommodating in relocating us and we had a fabulous evening. Delicious food and our waitress was wonderful!

    Food was excellent and well described by server. Interesting combinations such as pork belly with salmon. Excellent seared scallops. Food very fresh. Server suddenly very busy and wine with entree arrived to the table as we were nearly finishing entree. But overall excellent service and highly recommended.
