Highly recommend the prix-fixe menu with the wine suggestions. A friend and I went early on a Friday evening and had the whole heated patio to ourselves for almost an hour. Service was fantastic, Mike took the time to explain each dish and why the wine was chosen for it. Everything was delicious and the portions left us satisfied, but not overly full. Already looking forward to going back!

This is an intimate neighborhood restaurant with beautifully prepared French-oriented food. Deliciious. nice serving staff . smallish but very interesting wine list. They were understaffed inthe kitchen our Sundy evening, I suppose as or dinner was three hours. I strongly recommend this restaurant but not if you are in a hurry.

Their “heated” garden is not really protected from wind. Not recommended on a cold, rainy night.

A friend took me to Faun for my birthday (it was the only one of our Vanderbilt Avenue choices that had an opening when we wanted to dine), and we had a wonderful time. We were seated in the outside patio--which is behind the restaurant proper--and were quite comfortable there. Virtually every seat was filled, yet the noise level never became unpleasant. I started with a specialty cocktail and my friend had wine; both were very good selections, as were our tasty appetizers. My main course was a perfectly-cooked pork chop, done through yet still juicy, while his half chicken was so large he was unable to order dessert. (One small gripe: bread is not supplied, but must be purchased.) Several people attended to our needs, but our main waiter was named Collin, very laid-back and easygoing. The manager also checked in on us at one point, and we said what a good evening it had been for us.

Faun was amazing. If it’s good weather you have to sit in the back patio, such a gorgeous little escape. Was a bit disappointed in the amount of focaccia received when we ordered it but it was still amazing!

Great food - best roasted chicken, clean, simple food. Limited but great wine list. Good experience. Sommelier made recommendation for some good wine which heightened our experience. The space is tight. Overall a great experience.
