We were two couples meeting for dinner. A very enjoyable atmosphere where you can relax and visit with piano music in the background. We all enjoyed our dishes—I got a simple cheese ravioli with meatballs added and I can say the red sauce and meatballs were delicious—they know how to make basics sing. Hubby got the chicken Marsala (another basic) and said it was the best chicken dish he had had in a very long time—tender, juicy & flavorful. Other couple got the halibut and pasta ala oglio—both good. We had a hiccup with excessive delay getting our entrees (never did know why) but our server did continue to check with us, apologize & give updates on ETA—also offered us drinks and dessert to make up for it. The owner was in the dining area supporting this and apologizing. In the end we took them up on the dessert—selected a pistachio cake made in Italy—beautiful & delicious! Look forward to going back!

We had a wonderful experience at Fat’s Backrrom last Saturday evening. It was our first time dining there, but it wont be our last! Great food, great ambience, servers/staff were attentive but not overwhelming. They had a great selection of wine to choose from too! We rate this quaint restaurant a 5star!. Thanks for a great experience. We’ll be back soon.

It was lovely. An unexpected gem. Keenan took excellent care of us from the bar through dinner. What a charming young man. The owner stopped by to ensure all was perfect. It was a slow night so not crowded at all. Highly recommend you try it! The self-playing piano was a great addition. I especially liked that the volume was perfect. Loud enough to enjoy but not at all intrusive.

This is behind the Banquet Room and a small party room too. It has that feel. Big and open so the noise travels. Everyone seemed to know each other, including staff and were back and forth, loudly, from table to table. Staff was very nice, but service was slow. Main dishes were mediocre, at best. One out of four dishes were good.

The restaurant was very filled. The service was overwhelmed and doing the best they could. If you have plenty of time, definitely go there.. The food is delicious. The calamari and artichokes are to die for. Three out of four meals were very good. We will be back, but not when they are at capacity.
