We were excited to try this place out. Checking in with our reservation, the hostess was less than pleasant. She announced that we were marked as a no show even though we arrived 5 minutes prior to our reservation time. When I provided proof, no apology was given. She simply stated she would seat us anyway. She seemed annoyed that we were there. The food was descent but for the price I expect more from the wait staff. I asked for a mocktail or non alcoholic drink. I was not provided with any options and when the drink arrived I could not drink it because it was not my taste. We were there to celebrate a birthday and while there was a complimentary birthday desert I was not given any desert options. I had to track down a busser to request my waitress so I could order. Overall, the food was descent, the salad was delicious but the lack of service does not justify the price. I'm glad to have gone but there are better options to spend your money.

Mediocre food experience. 45 minute wait between pasta and main course, with no acknowledgment by service team. Meatballs and focaccia clearly several days old. Tartare looked like chopped hamburger meat with endive thrown on the plate. Pasta was not al dente, it was simply not cooked. Not what we expected. They were clearly busy and we have had good meals here, but this was not one of them.

It was okay- our favorite spot remains another restaurant (3 Scallops for $42) and 3 medium shrimp for $22 does not seem like value . I get it’s about the chef and the experience but this didn’t feel amazing for $140. We spend $140-$200 and feel generally satisfied we left feel blah - wait staff very attentive, atmosphere good, drinks good but the food might not be worth it? Will try again to be sure. Cannot recommend it yet

all items were excellent except the highest priced one, the 20 oz ribeye. we asked for it medium and it came out rare. not even the suggested medium rare but almost blood red. they took it back and just heated it to medium which made this very expensive cut of meat dry and chewy. by this time, all the excellent salads, appetizers and pastas had been forgotten and the bad experience with a ruined piece of ribeye prevailed. even the two free desserts for our birthday were not enough to offset our disappointment.

Food was fine. Server was very nice. The room we were in was LOUD. We were trying to have a discussion but it was hard to hear each other. The table next to us had two very active children and two parents who were very obsessed with their phones. It was unpleasant to have these kids running around and the Dad would occasionally get up and slide over to the other side of his table and in doing that - his rear end was practically in my face. There are quieter spots in the restaurant but we were apparently not going to be seated in one of them. Not a great experience. No interest in ever going back.

We had a great waitress and the food was amazing but our table was next to kitchen where manager and wait staff congregates. We got to hear more than I would prefer to hear of wait staff and manger conversations. It was extremely unprofessional at times but even if you ignored it was so loud you couldn’t ignore their conversation. I was a bit shocked. Would I go back? Yes but reserve a table away from kitchen. I was a bit shocked that this was the table we got with a reservation. I would reserve for walk-ins

My birthday dinner, a success! Fat Ox does not disappoint! Delicious start with warm, focaccia bread, Calabrian butter, and goat cheese herb spread. Yum! Cesar Salad for the table- beautiful greens and light dressing. Fantastic. Pastas to share- Tortelloni, filled with squash, leeks, goat cheese, so flavorful! Caico Di peppi, excellent! Split a filet with red wine reduction sauce- so delicious! Complimentary Tiramisu for my bday, very good! Our server Cindy was top notch!! Excellent night out!

The restaurant has a really cool vibe and an inviting curb appeal. The food was not bad BUT don't go if you are hungry. An order of tortellini is 3 pieces (thats right, 3). An individual caesar salad was a joke and frankly so were the other dishes. Expect to pay a lot and leave hungry.

Upon initial arrival, greeted by the hostess. They greeted by asking if any help was needed. I walked up to the bar, which was bustling. Great drink selections, with some signature cocktails only available here. Had a great bartender and staff. Filled water and always checked in on satisfaction. Dinner: The reservation was ready, and we sat at a table. It was a little loud in the room, but I could carry on a conversation without raising my voice. Great food selection of appetizers, prima, and second courses. Great food, I ordered the organic chicken and fish. The sides were done perfectly with great flavors. Dessert was not had this evening, but nice offerings. Exceptional service, food, and drinks. Great location, a little loud but a very nice bustling location. I would highly recommend

We have been to the restaurant at least a dozen times. Because we arrived with children (11 and 13) we were given the worst table next to the kitchen. One servers’ perfume was over powering every time they walked by. Even after giving the bin number the wrong bottle of wine arrived. When we got our main entrees we had no utensils for about 5 minutes. Then I had to flag someone down to get a steak knife to cut the steak. The “truffle” pasta had no trace of a truffle flavor. It was so loud it was hard to make conversation. In the past we have enjoyed the restaurant. Our 18 anniversary dinner was less than stellar.
