Great food , great service, a bit expensive on the kebabs.
Parking situation is horrible. Food is delicious and the menu is very well organized. The service was professional and friendly.
The food is always fresh and delicious. Very friendly and always smile on the employee face.
Relaxed family friendly atmosphere. service was great. Even had live entertainment.
Outdoor area was closed for the winter so should be taken off option during those months.
The staff was energetic and friendly and the food was most bountiful.
Good good, ample portions (large!!) and good service. The waiter/waitress were very helpful, very accommodating, one small mistake of not giving one of us the rice we ordered, but not fatal. Water glasses refilled regularly. Very welcoming and accommodating. Food was tasty, the waiter guides you appropriately if you have questions or ask for suggestions (drumsticks or thighs for chicken, he recommended drumsticks as being more tasty and they were, so good suggestion). got us out in plenty to time to get to Geffen Theatre, when we told him we were going there.
Great Mediterranean cuisine - super authentic Persian. The Lamb Shank is spectacular!
Food was good, service very good, servers efficient and friendly.
Happened upon this restaurant during DineLA and glad we did. The grilled eggplants and tomatoes with egg appetizer was unusual and delicious. And the sauce on the grape leaves was unlike any I've ever had. Our daughter was skeptical about the Fesenjan but was a total convert after trying it. Look forward to coming back.
Food was delicious although I’ve had better Tahdig. My date and I went for Dine L.A. week and they have a really good deal. Service was friendly although our waiter brought out our dinner before we even finished our appetizers. Dessert was the best part! Saffron, rose water, and pistachio ice cream was AMAZING! They also had live music which was really nice. Overall great dinner and this was the first time my boyfriend had ever tried Persian food.
while portions were very large, quality was not as good as other Persian restaurants in the area.
Very good food! Cute little patio in the back! Would go back for sure
I loved the service and the food. This was my second time there. I appreciated the neighborhood feel, the fact that the staff remembered me, the quality of the service and the food.
We had the tahdig with two stews, the gheymeh (with beef) and the sabzi (vegetarian). The tahdig, the crunchy rice from the bottom of the pot, was done with saffron and yogurt and was delicious. We had the salad Shirazi (which really needs more spices, please), and the mast moosir, garlic yogurt, which complements the kabab.
For dinner we had the kabab koobideh (ground beef skewers) and the joojeh (Cornish hen skewers), with two kinds of rice, the traditional basmati and the sour cherry albaloo polo. Very good. We supplemented that with the vegetarian fesenjoon, a dark, rich dish of pomegranate, walnuts and other mysterious yet delicious ingredients.
For dessert we had the traditional saffron and pistachio ice cream. Nothing like ending a good meal by fighting over dessert.
Good value, nice people, comfortable venue, love background music, two thumbs up...
Great ambiance, top-notch service, & the food is amazing! Definitely, will be going back!
So glad to find this neighborhood spot -- friendly service and excellent food, with a wide menu featuring a variety of Persian dishes..some familiar, others new to us. We were a party of 5 and enjoyed sharing dishes with one another.
It was my friend time going with 6 friends and we all had a good time and the food was great. Would go back for sure :)
Excellent Iranian food, quality of appetizers and Meat are superb. They could do better on the service part and decrease the level of noise
Delicious, beautiful, and there was even live music!
Great service by Pasha! Delucious goid.
amazing authentic Persian food with extremely large portions and felt bad we didn't have a fridge at hotel to save delicious and plentiful leftovers! Staff was friendly although at times inattentive. Once getting their attention they were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent service from the staff, food delicious as always.
Excellent service, traditional Persian dishes. Especially enjoyed the assortment of appetizers.
Nice cafe in Westwood with tasty Persian food. Serving sizes were very large (more than we could eat). Service was good and very friendly. It's more of a family gathering place than a date place. The lighting was bright. I would go again.
Very friendly staff and great food
Most of the food items are much better than all the nearby persian restaurants.
Great Persian food in a nice setting with good sevice
Best Shishlik ever
No parking around
What a wonderful find near UCLA hospital and Beverly Hills. We were hungry for Persian food and this restaurant did not disappoint. We will definitely go there again the next time work or pleasure brings us to the Los Angeles area.
Great Lamb Shank and Shishlik is mouth watering
Great food with great value. I love the "Tahchin" in particular. Very frendly staff and great location. Backyard sitting and parking.
Delicious Persian food!! Loubia polo and baghali polo are great.
I tried Farsi Cafe a few months earlier with a friend. I gave it a good to very good rating. This return visit was not nearly as pleasurable. The most important rating, of course, is the food. This time I am being generous when I rated it as fair. I can't really recommend this place, but if I did I would say stick to the kabobs or just have a table full of their appetizers. At least they have a chance of a "good" rating.
The food was so generous we didn't make it past the very tasty starters.
Excellent food, wonderful service, generous portions
Excellent persian food, some of the best we have had. Tahdig was amazing.
Had 9 people-2 were kids. Great food. Had a reserved table thanks to the Open Table reservation. Delighted!
Farsi cafe is absolute perfection! Everything was so delicious and came in huge portions. Our waiter was the best. Definitely try this place out.
Wonderful appetizers and huge portions for the entrees. Our waiter was THE BEST.
This was the first visit to Farsi Cafe for my friend and me. Our server and everyone else we interacted with were very nice. The food was typical middle-eastern/Persian, but superbly prepared. Here is a warning: everything is served in enormous portions. We picked out 3 starters before our main course. They were enough to make a whole meal. In the end, my friend and I split all the remaining food to take home. It provided a satisfying meal the next evening. I should also mention that the prices are very reasonable, which allows people to try various dishes without spending much. Suggestion: go with at least 4 people and have fun!
The food exceptional however the service is non-existent. You have to seek out staff to get water, place an order, ask for the check and pay.
