We really enjoy Farrelly's most of the time. We love their filet, but they took it off the menu. I ordered oysters, and they were way overcooked. At a prior visit, they were cooked perfectly. The sauce was very salty.
My sister and her husband shared a rib-eye which they felt was mediocre.
The deserts were delish! We had the bread pudding and the flourless chocolate pie.
Food was fantastic. Weather was really nice so we sat on the patio and the ambience was great. Customer service was on point as well. Server was very friendly and the manager even checked up on us a couple of times through out the evening. Only complaint was the server forgot one of my side dishes, but everything else was so good it more than made up for that little thing.
This was our first time here! We absolutely loved it! Food was phenomenal.
This was my first time visiting the restaurant. My wife and I went for her birthday. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and seated (had reservations). The atmosphere was wonderful, the service and the food was great. Everyone seems so nice and helpful. We will be going back. I highly recommend it.
Came for brunch with my 2 yr old. Our server, Latosha, was wonderful.
Delicious brunch menu, live music and great service! Outdoor dining is also a nice plus.
Excellent menu choices that please anyone’s palette.
Everything was really good. We always enjoy doing there.
What a wonderful experience from the food to the service, we enjoyed our evening very much.
Not very busy but almost 2 hour wait for food. Appetizer and salad never arrived until entree was served.
We have dined here many times and it wasn’t as good the last few times. However last night stands apart in that it was a truly horrible experience in almost every way. We had a party of 8 and I had to refil our water once and then get up and find someone to refill again. Our entrees came out before our salads and appetizers. My husbands “filet” look like a Waffle House steak. It was 1/2 inch thick and was well done even though he ordered it medium. The stuffed pear salad was terrible. We will never return.
This place offers such great service and a lovely ambiance. I will definitely be returning!
They had 5 employees call in sick for brunch the day we went, and yet we still experienced great meal, wonderful service and the music was top notch. I’ve always enjoyed this restaurant. Brunch, lunch, and dinner. I highly recommend!
Friendly staff and great drink selection. We were not seated at a high top as requested through our reservation, and were instead seated at a table placed next to the walk way of a private room that had a very noisy group. We were moved by request with no issues. The restaurant was out of pita chips very early for a Friday night so none of their starter dips could be ordered. These things will not keep us from coming back, but definitely did not provide as great of a date night experience as our first visit a few months ago.
We will be back. Pretty good wine list and plan to do your wednesday wine special. Appetizers were very good, service (David) was very nice and informed about dishes and wines. Food quality was very good, I'll try the halibut next time. Ambiance was very nice. Staff, all were great.
Cold and dark.
Food took forever and then after 30 or so minutes, we were informed they didn’t have our side dishes.
Service was precious
Steaks over cooked and salty
Our first visit. Husbands birthday. Leslie and Analia ( forgive me - I know that is wrong and she is going to be upset ) spoke so highly of your place. They both told us we MUST come and experience. They spoke even more highly of the owners, which spoke volumes for us. We first met these sweet ladies when they worked at Highland Bar and Grill.
From the first moment we met these two sweet ladies, they always serving with a smile. We love their energy as a team!
In fact, each employee we met last night greeted us with a smile.
You never have a second chance to make a first impression….Farrelly and team … you knocked it out of the park!
We had a great experience… and will definitely be back!!!!
God Bless and thank you!
Tim and Carol
Food was good. Service was aweful. We got there at 7 and did not get entree until after 9. We have 2 small kids, so we almost left. There was no apology or comp.
Very enjoyable and our waitress (Kayla) or (May have her name wrong ) She was wonderful, very pleasant and helpful!! We love Farrelly’s!
We were there for dinner but adore their brunch, also!!
Bartenders and bar program were awesome with creative drinks. Appetizers were serviceable and tasty. Entrees were solid but could use a little more spark. The atmosphere was super nice and a nice size space. Would and will definitely be coming back!
Great food and great service! We can not wait to go back!
Great staff! Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and did an amazing job. She seemed stretched thin and the other team members helped too! This type of atmosphere is hard to come by right now.
Great date night regular! Really appreciate the service and amazing food. Can’t wait to go back!
This is the first visit and I must say I was not impressed. My wife had the Shrimp and Grits and I had the Chicken. The Shrimp and Grits smelled of strongly Worcester sauce and tasted the same. The chicken over spinach and mashed potatoes was smothered with a gravy dominated by loads of briny capers with made the dish extremely salty. I noticed that of the 8 entrees two were steak and one was a burger. Both nightly specials were steaks so that must be their main theme. No sure we’ll go back.
Good service and good food. Always a great experience!
Great atmosphere, food and service. Couldn’t have been better!!
We were seated promptly. Our server arrived promptly to take our drink order. We took advantage of happy hour drinks & appetizers. The egg appetizer was a little unusual. Other appetizers were generous & very good (fried oysters were perfect). The peach, heirloom tomato & fried feta balls salad was very large & sufficient for appetizer & meal. Some items could use a little less salt but not enough to ruin the enjoyment of the meal. The salmon and the steak, chicken kabobs were very good & more than enough for great leftovers.
Good service and good quality food. Salmon was good. I would eat there again.
Good food and good service. Music was excellent.
This restaurant is a must. Great food, service, and drinks.
First time here. It was very good.
Great dinner experience. Food was fantastic, as usual.
Our server, Kayla, was amazing! We had the special restaurant week offered. My husband and I both really enjoyed our salads and starters! The pimento cheese deviled eggs and the fried green tomatoes with the black eyed peas were wonderful! My husband loved his filet mignon dinner. My blackened redfish was good but a little dry. The desserts were great! Overall the service, food, atmosphere were great and we really enjoyed it!!
Our kids spent the weekend with their grandparents and we had a chance to get out for brunch.
We had the four course dinner for Birmingham restaurant week. Food was great as was the service.
Went for brunch. Food was ok. Ambiance is nice (great for groups) and there’s ample parking.
Made a reservation for 1pm. Although a reservation was not necessary, restaurant prefers/appreciates them. Ambiance is very nice - restaurant has seating for many larger groups, including a wine room inside a vault. The music is super dated but not too loud and service was sorta slow but the food came out quickly.
Now for the grub: ordered Eggs Benedict w/ fresh fruit and breakfast potatoes. Fruit was fresh and potatoes were well seasoned but greasy. Poached eggs were good, ham was very thick (too thick), biscuit was fluffy and delicious but the hollandaise was too tart and tasted like a it came from a bag. Signature Bloody Mary and Mimosas are delicious and reasonably priced.
We love Farrelly’s! Great service and excellent food. The stuffed brioche french toast is to die for!
We have visited Farrellys multiple times since they have opened, for both dinner and brunch. We have tried many things on the menu and everything is outstanding. For the quality of the food, and the uniqueness of how it is prepared, we feel the price point is spot on. The service and atmosphere is perfect for us.
Shrimp and grits - very good
Paneed Chicken - also very good
Celebrated our 48th anniversary
Made reservation for a quiet table for anniversary. Hostess, on two instances, completely ignored both the reservation notes and verbal request in person. Table wasn’t ready and we waited an additional 15 minutes. Hostess then took us to a table in the main walkway next to kitchen… we requested a quiet table and we’re asked to wait an additional 15 minutes for the correct table. Just a horrible experience.
