    Service was great as always, very friendly and attentive staff. They even gave us a free dessert for our anniversary! The food is delicious, I’d highly recommend the Parmesan crusted redfish!

    I just love eating here. Best staff, drinks, food, ambience. A family feeling. Often lots of children, celebrations, laugher. Love the lighting and the music.. Always have a great time. Best Happy Hour in town..

    First time here. We will be back. Exceptional waitress “Britney” was quick and attentive. Very nice. Good atmosphere. Solid food offering, except poached eggs very almost hard boiled on the Benedict. A real no-no.

    Went for Sunday brunch. Two of three entrees were good — the avocado toast and the french toast. The breakfast bowl/skillet was over cooked, dry, and crunchy. The coffee was unbelievably good - maybe best I’ve had in an American restaurant. Music & ambiance were terrific, even though noisy. I’ve heard one of the guys before, and that was my main reason for going.

    Greater an seated quickly. Server was nice friendly and upbeat. Ordered a bottle of wine which was very good then everything starting going down hill from there. Appetizers catfish bites, pork belly. Catfish were very small bites, nothing special just okay. Pork belly sounded really good on the menu with glaze and jalapeños. Pork was good but no jalapeños. Though they were possibly diced up in the slaw the pork sat on. Asked the server about jalapeños and their comment was they either forgot them are they were out of them. I asked to check because I ordered based on the description. The server said they are usually on top of the pork. Ordered watermelon salad. Watermelon salads arrived some time later and I asked about the jalapeños again, no real answer like it didn’t matter. Salad was okay nothing special good price for it though. I asked about the jalapeños again. We ate most of the salad enjoyed our wine when the server showed with small container of dried up looking jalapeños that had no taste whatsoever, I tasted small amount and decided to spit them out as they apparently old. No wonder the chief left them off. I would not send them out from my kitchen like that. We were thinking about an entree but decided to cut our losses and leave after how the apps situation handled. What should have been a nice evening turned into a disappointment. I was perfectly to pay the full amount and never asked for pork to be removed from the bill. However at the last minute when they brought the bill they removed the charge. I tipped the server more than 20% and left to never return

    I was looking forward to a birthday dinner with my husband. I had fried chicken and requested to substitute the cheddar pasta and collards for cheese grits and Brussels sprouts. Hubs ordered the waygu burger and fries which he reported were good. After bringing both our meals out, the waiter advised they had run out of Brussels and had me select another side (spinach). The grits were tasty, chicken was okay-though I wouldn’t order it again. Spinach, which was brought midway through the meal, was terrible. It was extremely salty and over powered with garlic. I wanted to like this place since it is one of the nicer restaurants here in Hoover. However, for the price, I was disappointed in the quality. I may give it another try with a different dish on another visit.

    We reserved a table for 2 for 1pm, Sunday brunch. We arrived at 12:50am and were told there would be a 15-30 minute wait. We were notified that our table was ready 1:50. Our server, Tinisha was attentive and very pleasant. Food was good. The noise level was off the charts.

    When we arrived the hostess was brutally honest and said our reservation was in, but may take a little longer than expected (it was a Sunday and when people get a table they like to visit a little longer). We opted for the immediate seating at the bar - and super glad we did. My wife had the Avocado Toast with Grits. She did not stop raving about it all the way to Tuscaloosa. I had the Wagyu Burger. Outstanding! Cooked to perfection. Toppings and sauce were fabulous! Looking forward to our next visit.

    Overpriced burger that was dry on the inside, burnt on the outside. No sauce and crunchy brussel sprouts. Drinks took too long to get to table and the food took almost an hour to get to us for 3 simple dishes. You can spend the same money or less elsewhere and have a much better overall experience.

    We had a wonderful time, service was great, food was good. The only issue- the temperature in the restaurant was not comfortable for all. Some at the table were extremely uncomfortable. Otherwise a good night!

    Food and service were excellent. My only complaint was that the wooden chairs were extremely uncomfortable. We will go back though. I’ll just make sure we get seated at booth next time.

    Our server Stacy was the best part of the experience. I wish I would have listened to the reviews that talked about the slow service. They were short two cook staff on Saturday nite. We waited two hours. The food was only ok. We were charged for multiple items on our ticket that didn’t belong to us. Check your itemized tickets when signing the receipt!

    Me and the husband visited a few months back and decided to have date night at Farrelly’s again. They didn’t disappoint. I got the same meal as I had before (fried chicken and white pasta with greens) *rolls eyes*. It was just as tasty as the first time! He had the meatloaf. Although it could have been a smidge bigger in portion, it was so tasty! Chris was our waiter and Brit was our server. Both were amazing and very personable! I was think about going again tonight, but I’ll wait a while 😆. Thanks for always being consistent!

    I simply love eating here. I’m a regular and being as many of my friends as I can. If you haven’t been there you are missing out. They have a great and affordable Happy Hour from 4-6.
