   We had one of the best meals ever at Faro & Brag. My filet was the best I have had in Scottsdale living here 6 years. The pork shank was excellent. Our server was superb! An overall wonderful evening.

   Food was average at best. Paella needs some work and was not even close to what it needs to be. Tandoori chicken was extremely dry for an airline breast which unusual!!! Dessert butter cake was day old bread at best. Disappointed and this menu needs to be re-worked!

    I ate there as the organizer for a golf group staying at the hotel. They would not book a table for 12 without going through the process of BEO contract and all the nonsense associated with that. When we arrived it was clear this was a noisy (not energetic) setting due to the architectual design. Conversation was difficult eve with the person next to you. There was no salt and pepper on the table and we had to request it. I had a "blue" fillet and it was not. The person next to me had prime rib and it was tough and over cooked. To add insult to injury, they would not allow separate checks. They would not even divide the bill by 12 and run 12 cards. To his credit, our main waiter explained and apologized but could not do anything other than charge me for the entire bill and suggest I workout my own reimbursement with my colleagues. This is the first time I have ever encountered this after having eaten in a number of venues in a variety of locations over the years. I would not eat here again. Overpriced, noisy, marginal food prep and draconian policies on payment.
