Had fried chicken dinner. Chicken was overcooked, potatoes were on the salty side and service was fair. Other party had steak salad and steak was very tough. This restaurant appears to be a knock off of Cracker Barrel. Menus very similar.
Came here for the first time for Happy Hour and dinner. Atmosphere is great. Service is great. Upscale and nicely decorated. The food and bar menu looks amazing. The descriptions have you anticipating some top notch dishes and drinks. Unfortunately, the actual food and drinks just didn’t take good. I had such high hopes. Neither is us finished our food. I didn’t finish my cocktail. The I my thing that was good was my bf’s New Old Fashioned drink. My Strawberry summer cocktail (I think that’s what it was called) sounded so delicious but ended up being bland and...just not good. My brisket was dry and so chewy. I wanted to spit some pieces out because of how long it was taking to chew. Honey glazed baby carrots were ok but two were raw. The black eyed peas were good but only half the bowl actually had peas in it, the rest was rice. My BF has chicken wings which had that frozen-for-too-long taste. He also had shrimp skewers which were just average. For $60 we expected much more. This place has so much potential and great staff. I think they need to improve the food or else they won’t be around much longer. I would not go ba
It was just really good. The macaroni and cheese was probably the best I have tried.
The food and service was great. The prices on the food were a bit expensive. I will try happy hour on the next visit.
Food was great! Came out fresh and fast. A bit of a mix up at the bar on our drinks. Wrong drink brought. A lady server in a red shirt, mask on her chin & wearing glasses yelled at our waiter for taking her drink. Kinda of rude & embarrassing after the bartender gave him the wrong drink to begin with!
Yummy Yummy Food
Great comfort food.
Biscuits were really dense. Old? The eggs on one order were prepared other than the way they were ordered and the dish was put together oddly. Potatoes and salads were excellent.
Always a great experience. Great food, great staff.
So glad we went for our first dinner out of quarantine. The staff was wonderful and so friendly. Our food was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back and highly recommend.
The food looked amazing but lacked taste. The coleslaw was bland. The cheese in the grilled cheese sandwich wasn’t melted. I enjoyed the rib sandwich but by the time it came to the table the bread was soggy. We also had the fried chicken and fries which everyone enjoyed!
We came for 2 birthdays to celebrate. We were excited to eat out for the first time in months! We were so disappointed in our food! We came at Happy Hour so the appetizers were bogo. They were ok at best. My kids enjoyed their food. My husband and I on the other hand were very disappointed. He ordered the fried chicken plate. It was the worst He’s ever had. It was way over cooked and bland. I ordered the house salad with fried chicken pieces on top. They brought out grilled instead. I told our server and she said she’d bring out the fried chicken but then took my salad and brought only the worst over cooked fried chicken I’ve ever eaten. Then when my husband told the manager we didn’t see our server again. Not until she took far too long to bring the check. When we said goodbye and were leaving my daughter saw our server roll her eyes at another coworker. With those kind of prices and below par food and service we will definitely never be back.
Food was terrific as was the service. Comfortable during social distancing.
Just not really very good. At all. Love the inside decor....but won’t be back.
Breakfast was great and the service was too!
Birthday brunch this was a great experience the staff was great and the food was good
I saw pictures of great looking food from this place and couldn't wait to try it. Sadly, I was very disappointed. Food was average at best, very over priced, and in a mostly empty restaurant, service was poor.
Salmon on the salad burnt to a crisp. Salad had no peppers which it listed and way too much cauliflower. Not a place to return to
Fabulous food and service! Love the southern twist. Great service for a larger group.
The decor is cute, our server was very nice and attentive. The menu looked good, execution was horrible. We did Sunday brunch. My sausage was so overcooked and dry you could barely cut it. One dish was supposed to have Gouda, but it was a shredded cheddar blend. All the food was barely warm. I’d skip this place
Wanted to try new place for breakfast and was disappointed. The sausage was ordered by 3 people at the table and was uneatable. The consistency was horrible. For the price the portions for breakfast were small. The salmon avocado toast at $17.00 was 4 small pieces of round 1/2 size of full piece of bread and was very bland with no side dish.
Our group meets several Sundays a month for breakfast. The food was subpar. Most of it was dry and impossible to eat. It seemed as though they had used leftovers from the night before. We will not eat here again.
One of our favorite breakfast spots. Their baked goods and waffles are to die for!
Food was excellent. From were even better. Definitely would go back to.
Read several reviews and thought this would be a good choice for dinner.
Was so disappointed that every dish we had was sweetened with extra sugar, from the salad dressing to the fried chicken. Even the sweet potatoes were loaded with unnecessary sugar. We have an obesity crisis in this country and this is a perfect example of why.
Horrible service. 28 mins waited for first drink to come to table. The staff, bartenders and hostess were so disorganized. Everyone moved around like chicken with heads cut off and the restaurant was at maybe 50% capacity. The hostess seemed “lost” and did go missing for long periods of time. Been open for 3 months under this name and won’t last long (like last restaurant) so don’t waste your time. Food was good but no reason to put up with horrible service.
A very enjoyable brunch spot in Town Square. Some of the best biscuits I've ever had. Incredible selection of Whisky.
Service was fantastic as was the quality of the food. Would highly recommend and definitely will go again.
Day after Valentines Day dinner. First time at the restaurant. The special Valentine’s Day dinner was good, and the service was excellent. Really enjoyed the experience.
Dani our server was amazing. It was valentines and crazy hectic yet she was able to keep a smile and positive attitude throughout the night. Made for an amazing night of fun and laughter.
We loved it! What a great place! Highly recommended! Will be back
Lots of great house made food options. I had the bottomless Bellini option which was also great.
Our server Patrick was the only thing that was appealing during our meal. We had a table of 6 and when we arrived, even the greeting was lackluster. The hostess was slightly aloof. The food was absolutely terrible. Salmon was dry, the bacon on the waffle sandwich was thick but under cooked, stringy and inedible and the biscuits were basically burnt. The chicken on the chicken and waffles plate was decent. Home fries with the sage/rosemary were nice. The drinks ( Bellini, mimosa and tea) were nice but overall this was a total waste of time. The ambience however was lovely and ample parking.
12 picky eaters were no match for this place. delicious, amazing variety, spacious, and great ambiance for a birthday dinner.
Found this place on Open Table and decided to try it. Was excellent. Staff was super friendly and food was great.
This is the first time for dinner with our group and it was spectacular. Nice casual no rush relaxing evening. Appetizers were great large fries covered in sausage gravy and fried chicken bits, also hush puppies. Whiskey selections were overwhelming. Great southern Mason jar drinks also. All 9 of us loved our dinners. This is a real sleeper. We have been for breakfast twice and I have stopped on my own 7am with paper for a Danish and latte.
Great menu with lots of home cooking options. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.
The food was good and so was the service. It wasn’t very crowded during the lunch hour which makes me wonder why. There is a lot of competition in the area. I would go back. Next time to try their breakfast menu.
Food was great. Extensive wine and liquor menu. Service needs to improve.
Food wasn’t bad we would’ve liked it more if our server was more attentive and cared to give details about the menu , when we got seated it took some time for someone to even greet us so my boyfriend went to the bar to ask for a server and before he even walked away our server turned to the bartender and said “ I knew that was coming “ whatever that meant ... she brought the wrong drink , had to ask several times for water and she never offered side plates for sharing to even cared to ask if we needed refills when our drinks got low. Maybe we will come back and just hope for better service .
