Always great food and friendly service.
For 3 guests having 2 burgers (no additions), 1 pork sandwich, an appetizer and two sodas, $95 w/gratuity seems like a lot. Burger had a tomato sauce that was a little too sweet for my liking; cheese and meat tasty and arugula rather than lettuce a nice touch.
Crispy fava bean appetizer was quite plentiful and delicious served w/a complimentary harissa sauce.
Outstanding restaurant. from the ambient of the restaurant, the service provided by our server, Molly (i hope i get her name spelled right) to the food they served. all are excellent.
We had our anniversary celebration there. Started with their honey butter cheddar biscuit and fried Fava beans in tempura batter then main dish was the foie gras grass feed Augus beef burger....
eventhough the food sound fancy but it delivered to our table under pretty reasonable amount of waiting time.
The cheddar biscuit was soft inside and cripsy outside, yumm. the fried fava beans itself was so fresh and sweet and it taste even better with their in house special dipping sauce.
the foie gras burger... OMG... the tatse is out of the world. Maybe sound like i exaggerate it a bit, but its seriously good. soft from the foie gras, juicy and tender from the Augus beef, sharp with a little bit tangy from the goat cheese in between the buttery and soft brioche bun. outstanding!
end of the meal, Molly brought us a strawberry cheesecake icecream as a small little "gift" for our anniversary ... so sweet <3
The grilled artichoke dish was amazing, but our mains were both ok. Not memorable. We felt that they needed something to brighten up the flavor.
Great experience and our waitress(Katrina) was outstanding.
Really enjoyed eating here. Such creative dishes and delicious. Big portions.
Long Meadow Ranch never disappoints! Tremendous food offerings in an authentic setting serviced by a friendly group of persons! Don't miss it if you're in the neighborhood!
This place was beyond amazing. Some of the best food I have ever had.
Absolutely incredible! Innovative menu, attentive service.. truly an enjoyable dining experience!
Wonderful experience and fantastic food. Isobel our waitress did a great job. Walk around the grounds if you get a chance.
Excellent appetizers especially the grilled artichoke and favs beans; waitresswS kind and very helpful Nice seating in comfortable booths; Ribs were tasty yet over grilled to the point the bone was brittle and breaking off onto the meat; This ended up in ingested bone fragment ; bad ending to otherwise excellent meal;
Great meal, drinks and service. The dishes were artfully prepared, and the portions were gracious. I love the modern Farmhouse atmosphere. Very casual/comfortable, not pretentious like many of the other restaurants in the area. I highly recommend the burrata cheese appetizer.
Just terrific service and food!!!! The entire operation was first class and WOW
While on vacation in the Napa Valley, Farmstead was one of the dining recommendations. What a wonderful restaurant!! The atmosphere was fun and the food was fabulous. Our server, Rebecca, made great suggestions and every morsel we consumed was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!!
Overall wonderful experience. The flavors and preparation pf the food was less impressive than I recall from previous meals, but the scenery and ambiance made up for it.
Amazing!!!
We had a wonderful leisurely lunch outdoors in the patio. Everyone was happy and having fun!
We visited Farmstead for the first time last Sunday. We had never been and made a reservation for lunch. The weather was ideal.....warm and sunny. We ordered the charcuterie to start, which was tasty. My husband and daughter had the short rib hash and loved it. I had a salad with shredded chicken. That was also good. I'd say the only "negative" item we encountered was the glass of wine my husband ordered. It was $20. That was pricey for a glass, considering the bottle was $25. And it was a Farmstead brand. Of course he really enjoyed it!
We will definitely return. The property and feel of the place is comfortably homey and I'd say urban chic. The grounds are just beautiful!
Thank you....
Both the food and service was amazing! We enjoyed the fresh flavorful ingredients of all the dishes and our waiter's recommendations were spot on.
Loved this place! Rustic but elegant and cozy ambiance. Food cooked perfectly and tasty .
I ordered roasted Dungeness crab which was wonderful .
My husband ordered St Louis ribs, meat so tender and fell off bone. Came with yummy BBQ sauce . Wish I had room for dessert which I will do next time!
Our dining experience was wonderful! The atmosphere, food, and service are amazing! Farmstead went out of their way to make us feel special celebrating our 20th anniversary with congratulations and sparkling wine!
Incredible food and great service and a great corkage fee deal -- $5 donated to charity. The cheddar biscuits are incredible.
Everything was good. It’s also the only restaurant in my entire trip from San Francisco to Napa valley that would really take care of my request of no additional salt.
Grilled Artichoke is super amazing and great wine selection too
I love everything about Long Meadow Ranch and Farmstead! Love the restaurant, love the winery, and love the owners vision for their products! I'm from Hawaii and visit Napa once or twice a year for the past 8 years. I've only discovered Farmstead on my last visit and this is the second time dining here, but will dine every time I visit. Food is farm to table and taste amazing ! Cant wait to visit again! Side note, we joined the Long Meadow Ranch Mayacamas estate wine club. Yes, the estate wines are that good!!!
Delicioso excelente servicio
La comida increíble
Great location, beautiful gardens and grounds. Was greeted and seated on schedule, and the table set up is well done with enough room and decor to make each table semi private. Our server was busy with two large table so another staff member got us started with drinks and an order of wonderful cheese biscuits. Great salads, Ribs and the Sole were extremely fresh and delicious. Took home some of the ribs and had to skip desert as we were very satisfied. We already have our ideas for what to order next time! May do a dinner of various appetizers, as they were generous portions. All good in a warm comfortable environment.
Fantastic as always! Fab food, great service good wine & a fun time!
Great food and a beautiful atmosphere
Very pleasant dining experience - beautiful venue - soul and trout were our main courses and were very good - warm burrata appetizer not to be missed!
We were seated at the end of a community table close to the kitchen. Someone in the kitchen dropped a bowl of BBQ sauce (or soup?), and we were close enough that the liquid actually pelted our table, including our clothes and hair. At least one person in the kitchen saw this and decided to ignore us instead of sending someone over to apologize and/or wipe down our table. We had to take care of it ourselves and 2 of us went home with BBQ sauce in our hair. I know this was a freak accident, so it's not really an issue that this happened (although perhaps they shouldn't seat customers so close to the kitchen if this happens frequently); but it was disappointing that there was no apology or offer to move us to another table.
While the food was good, I did receive an undercooked pork chop, and by undercooked I mean portions of the inside were raw. I showed the server my chop and she asked "is it not well done enough for you?" Stunned, I replied "it's pork, so no, it's not well done enough. It's half raw." She was very nice overall, but I thought that was a puzzling comment given the circumstances. Also, for the second visit in a row, we were served substitute ice cream flavors because the ice cream flavors available were not the same as what the server initially stated. We honestly wouldn't have ordered what we were given, but were served with them anyway; I just wish in both instances that the server would inquire first if the substitution is acceptable. I'd rather save the calories (and money!) for something I REALLY want. Overall, I've had decent experiences here, but I am concerned that they're slipping. I'm a member of the LMR wine club and really love the LMR/Farmstead property; I just hope the restaurant returns to being a reliably good dining experience.
Loved it! We went back for lunch the next day because it was so tasty. Beautiful setting, friendly service, great food.
Great atmosphere, exceptional food and quality service. When all blend together seamlessly you have a great dining experience. We’ll be back to eat here again when we visit next year.
Awful !! Food was served cold and poorly prepared !!
Always a great experience and delicious food. Our favorite place in the valley!
Loved the atmosphere at Farmstead. Food was amazing and the waitress was super friendly. Would definitely go back.
I had just posted a review on Farmstead in January but wanted to update our experience.
We had been erroneously informed by our previous server that the potato fries were cooked in animal fat, the restaurant took the effort to contact me and assure me that they used only vegetable oil for frying. Also they told me many of the dishes could be prepared without meat for vegetarian guests.
At this visit we enjoyed the crostini with burrata, and arborio rice with veggies ( like a risotto) and the potato gnocchi. Food was delicious and prepared very well. Cocktails were creative . Service was very friendly and good as well.
Between four of us we had the cheddar biscuits, tomato soup, sole, meatballs, meatloaf, and potatoes and everything was delicious!
Loved this restaurant. Outstanding food, great services, lovey ambience. Will be returning.
Farmstead is our absolute favorite restaurant in the Napa Valley. This was our 4th visit and we have been delighted every time. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The service is casual, but professional. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. Our go to spot for celebrations!
After hearing about this for the past few years, I decided to take a friend here for a birthday celebration. The barn like setting was lovely with its imaginative chandeliers, flower filled milk bottles and plaid shirts on the servers. Since they have their own farm and ranch, had to try to the green salad. Very fresh arugula with a very light dressing, goat cheese, and Italian almonds.
We were super hungry, so we had the smoked roast beef sandwich and pulled pork sandwich, both very good and smoky with home made buns. Not exceptional, but worth having.
The highlight of the experience was our server, Isabel. Very friendly and attentive.
If you make a reservation, ask for her station.
