Everything about this place is amazing! The atmosphere is great! Food and drinks fantastic! I also learned that Farmstead donates the corkage fee you pay to a local charity! We will be back very soon!
Great service, Tara. Delicious comfort food. Warm lovely setting.
Great farm to table food and service!
Absolutely spectacular!! The food was very good and our server Ernie was super great. Actually everyone at the restaurant helped each other out which is always nice. Loved this place and would definitely recommend it. It was rainy but would have loved checking out the grounds. True farm to table action here.
Fun and cool experience in the valley. Neat setting and great atmosphere. Service was great!
Great food as always with very good service. Very interesting wine list. The pulled pork was incredible as was the beet salad.
Another great visit, and once again never cease to bring a smile to one's face. Another fabulous lunch and experience with the Farmstead gang. Thank you
It was good.
So many Napa restaurants and yet this is one I always manage to find time to visit. Comfort food at its best, frankly. Menu changes sometimes daily, certainly seasonally. Cocktail list is inspired and definitely utilizes so many of the fresh herbs and spices in the dishes. Best dinner is loading up the table with lots of dishes and trying them all. Service is top-notch and knowledgeable. Leave room for dessert too.
Out first restaurant to visit 8n Napa, The Farmstead was excellent! One of the most comfortable and the food was spectacular.
Perfect stop for lunch between touring vineyards. Amazing fresh produce from their garden, and delicious cocktails & wine to enjoy your food with. One of our must stop restaurants when we’re in the area!
Very nice they were very busy but the food was good
Amazing food and excellent service!
One of my favorite places in Napa! Our family has celebrated many special occasions at Farmstead the food and service always top notch!
Probably been there like 12 times since 2011 and it’s always great. Wish they had another location in South Bay. Wish they sold their pies whole!
It was great as always. The food is very fresh, full of flavor and well designed. The latino’s and in the kitchen do a fantastic job!
Great food , great service.
I ate a spetacular nhoque made with Youkon potatoes.
Always a fan of Farmstead, where the ambiance and service are sophisticated, but not stifled, and it’s easy to settle in for an amazing meal. The food is always spectacular!
Good food, limited nenu. Beautiful place.
Very simply prepared food. Everything was incredibly fresh. Not one of the fanciest meals in my life, but certainly one of the best.
Beautiful restaurant and great food . Loved everything about it .
Always love this place. Delicious, fresh and great drinks. Grilled artichoke and Deviled Eggs a must.
The only issues was they were sold out of all the fresh fish dishes. The burger was great except the bun fell completely apart. Deviled eggs were outstanding.
Food and environment were wonderful. Cheddar biscuits and ribs were delicious. Was just in town for a couple days but definitely lived up to the reputation and would eat there next time I’m in town.
Waitress was terrible. Biscuits and gravy came with two over easy eggs. We asked if they could make the eggs over hard and she said they can't do that? We argued with her because are you serious? She had to go talk to management about it??? Again, are you serious and of course she came back and said they would accommodate but seemed very put out. Next up was the eggs benedict. The white of the eggs was runny as in runnnnyyyyy. We asked if they could cook it more and once again she had to check in with management. A gentleman came over and said they use some machine to cook the eggs and seemed very distressed on what to do. It was so awkward in fact that we started wondering if runny egg white was how a proper eggs benedict should be cooked. They eventually figured it out and cooked the egg properly. We have been here a couple times before. It is a larger restaurant and has clearly started to lose quality control. The food was okay at best and I am not a food snob. Time to fire or retrain your staff and when u pay 19 bucks for eggs they best come out proper.
Sat at bar, bartender was pleasant. Brunch was great.
Everything from our drinks, appetizers, food and service was AMAZING!!!
The food here is delicious and without pretense. We enjoyed the Long Meadow wines too.
Truly exceptional. My favorite of all casual dining places anywhere. Outstanding food, again and again. Who can make a trout tender and yet crispy, and add a mix of vegetables that turns it into a culinary experience? As far as I know, this place only.
Always professional . Always delicious !
Good food and service. Noisy!
Beautiful venue, this is the second time I've eaten at this restaurant. Great food and presentation.
Waiter was awesome!
We had a lovely time! The service was very good, atmosphere was fun and unique, and the food was great!
The only thing that I was disappointed with was where we sat. It was too close to the main front door entrance, so it made it a little chilly for me, and as a designer I would arrange the seating differently.
We will be back!! 🙂
cheddar biscuits; lemon meringue pie; pork chop; jalapeño grits;
It is a high end beautiful place. Good for special occasions. The ambience is beautiful.
The property and building are both beautiful. We ordered the deviled eggs (which were good) and the beef tartare to start. Both were spicy, but the tartar was so hot you could not even taste the beef. We were very disappointed. Ordered the boulevardier and Paloma cocktails and both were good. Our meals came and both the potato gnocchi and petrale sole were greatly under seasoned. We kept applying salt, but after the (overly) spicy appetizers we were just done. My husband described it perfectly as “muddy and bland”. We will not be returning for dinner. So many great places to eat in St. Helena, but this was not it.
The outdoor bar is beautiful and I would go back again to enjoy a cocktail outside, but dinner? Never again.
I’m sorry to say but a little off the mark. It started with being sat at one of the communal tables. I’ve eaten here at least 4-5 times and didn’t even know they existed. Sorry not a fan on a date night. As for the food. My date ordered the signature ribs and they were dry and not like two times prior. We did bring it to their attention and they were comped and a dessert was free as well. Big steps taken for a return visit. I do like the corkage policy(whatever you decide to pay goes to a local group or organization) DC
Very good food, and a an informed service group. We sat on the terrace and had a wonderful lunch.
