Farmshop Marin es la segunda base de Jeff Cerciello y abrió sus puertas en 2013, en el corazón de Marin Country Mart, en Larkspur. Sigue los pasos de Farmshop Los Angeles, el aclamado restaurante y mercado artesanal inaugurado en Brentwood Country Mart en 2010. El Farmshop Marin propone comidas exclusivas con ingredientes puros de California y platillos abundantes y sofisticados. Este magnífico espacio de 500 m² cuenta con un salón comedor cómodo y elegante, un patio al aire libre, una gran zona de bar con capacidad para 50 personas, un lounge, un salón comedor privado con capacidad para 60 personas y un horno de leña abierto con parrilla. We had planned on appetizers and a pizza (for two), but three appetizers landed up being ample. The avocado hummus is delicious, as is the burrata with roasted apricots, but the standout this time was the crispy risotto fritters (like arancini) with aioli. In the past, we have also loved the chicken liver mousse. We also love their pizza and have taken a pizza class here, so they were kind enough to refresh our biga for us as well. Our wine (a cab) was chilled, which was a bit of a surprise.

Our office is across the street from Farm Shop. It is a consistently excellent venue for a business or social meal. Comfortable environment, great food, prompt service.

The menu has been subjected to the world of shrinkflation. Not only are prices creeping skyward, the amount of food on the plate is declining. Case in point, my NT steak was nicely grilled, but it was presented totally alone on a big plate except for a charred lemon. Gone were the smashed potatoes of yesteryear and the broccolini had disappeared too. Similar items were listed on the menu as expensive sides, but the change/elimination of these usual accompaniments was not mentioned. A bit of a disappointment…

It was fine - I'd say it's consistent. Sceney vibe, if that's what you're looking for. To me, nothing has changed about this restaurant since its opening. The server treated us as he wanted, with a shrug and a smile because...why anything else? It's a busy place, so his cash is basically confirmed...why worry about what each guest thinks? Food is good, but it doesn't ever blow my mind.

EVERYTHING was delicious! 4 of us celebrated a birthday. I highly recommend the Avocado Hummus, CA Tomato Pizza, Hamachi, pastrami & smoked Salmon sandwiches were fresh & filling . Cheesecake & choco Profiteroles topped it all off! I would def return.
