Food delivery: Hmmm. Might say not that precise. Staff just dropped off food/drinks at one edge of table. Expected diners to deliver correct orders. Did not ask. Just left. Pizza was one selection. Flavorful. Crust wet in middle. Did not eat that part. Think Service should be sharper to keep more in line with the cost of the meal.
Great location and environment. Menu is limited in my opinion. Pizza is excellent, service was challenged.
Main entrées took 1 hr and 45 minutes to arrive. We had one of 5 people dining order a salad. The server asked if she’d like it to come with entrées and we said yes. However, the salad came as a salad course, not with entrees, and we were all left waiting another 1 hour 15 for mains. Server never checked in with us during that time. With 2 young children growing tired and bored, We finally decided to ask for our food to go, but it was delivered to the table 1 minute later. Server never apologized for or acknowledged the long wait or error, however they comped the kid’s ice cream when the bill arrived. We rushed our mediocre and bland tasting meals and will not be returning. Not the evening I had imagined for my birthday celebration.
had an impromptu early dinner with my four year old daughter and it was a love and delicious respite in every way.
Food was fantastic and our waiter was attentive and lovely!
Food was excellent; took awhile to get a waitperson to serve us, but otherwise very good and I'll definitely be back!
Great food but expensive for poor service.
Farmshop is consistently terrific. The food is top of the top. The Meyer Lemon Pizza is to die for. I've never had anything there that wasn't absolutely delicious, the presentation gorgeous and the service superb. You just can't go wrong here.
The food is always great and I enjoy this place. The prices are definitely on the high side, ok very high, so it's only for special occasions for me.
I have never had a bad meal, or for that matter, a bad dish at Farmshop. Usually the service is excellent but on that night, it was not. Pleasant waiter but took entirely too long to take our order after our drinks.
Farm shop never disappoints from quality of food ambiance and service. I am a regular customer whether at the bar or dining the attention I receive is exemplary.
Tom does an excellent job of managing a very large staff. Most notably is the attention and excellent service I have received from Zack . He is attentive , courteous friendly and knows the quality and always imparts his knowledge and expertise.
Thank you so much for providing only the best of your continuing fine service to provide such attentive and excellent dining experiences.
Room is beautiful and service is good, food not so. The pizza, although it looked dark and cooked had a soggy, under-baked crust. I have had better pizzas for a lot less.
Excellent creative food with emphasis on fresh farm to table. The vegetable dishes were very nice. Flavors and textures are superb.
The service is acceptable, not great.
The wine list, esp the wines on tap were wonderful.
Only complaint is the markup on the wines are absurd. 4-5x cost is absurd.
The ribeye steak for two is absolutely amazing, they listen to exactly how you want it done! Cocktails were great per usual! We always keep coming back to this place! Pizzas are delicious as well!
Great service and food and well adapted to Covid times. Patio was covered and protected from the rain and cold, and there was essentially no one dining inside so we chose that to dine indoors at one of the booths. Definitely recommend.
Great food and very relaxing outside. Lunch is a sure bet here. I only recommend eating outdoors. The 2 times I ate dinner inside we were shouting at each other to be heard.
Not a lot of food options. I ordered something that I was just okay with ordering because nothing seemed substantial. More variety would be great. Cocktails were great. Dark area that we were in, it was noon and nice outside but I could barely make out the person across from me because the booth we got sat in was EXTREMELY dark and poorly lit. I was hoping to be sat in the bright area next to the kitchen but we got sat in this sad, dark, pathetic area next to the bar. I made a reservation far in advance and didn't expect to be in solitary confinement for an expensive meal.
Never disappointed here. We came here to spend our NYE. It was a very nice time with awesome meals.
Hummus appetizer and salad were great. The chicken and pizza were not impressive. The chicken seemed like random stuff just put on the plate to make it sound interesting.
It was great
Best spot in Bay Area ,!
Always excellent service- food and drink
We had a really nice dinner at Farmshop. Salad, Pizza and cocktails were all perfect. The bartender, Stephanie is really sweet and knows how to make a great martini.
Farmshop never disappoints. Having the heated and covered patio is a must during these virus days and unlike many restaurants that have thrown together outside dining spaces Farmshop patio is lovely. Good is always delicious. Wait staff always friendly & polite. Place was busy so service a tiny bit slow but no problem really. All good.
Excellent service, food was great, we come here to meet our financial planner every 6 months or so. Would come more often if it weren’t such a drive from Ukiah. He comes in from Danville!
Disappointing. All dishes were served lukewarm, pizza pepperoni spice was overwhelming while the braised short rib was bland. The side smashed potatoes were delicious, but that can’t save a meal. The quest for a decent dinner in Marin continues.
Delicious food; comfortable, pretty space; really nice staff. Lots of good veggie sides, but no mains.
Excellent . Best service
Great atmosphere.. very good food. Excellent service.
Extremely slow service. One of my colleagues had to leave after waiting 45 minutes for our entrees.
Everything was great ceaser an Chris made everything outstanding. Good thing we decided to sit at the bar rather then a table. Date night was great food was fabulous besides the pizza little burned an all an presentation could be way better!! Definitely will be coming back
Loved the variety of dishes and flavors. We sat in a booth in the bar. Our server was friendly and knowledgable. Additional staff checked on us. We will definitely go back!
The food was great. Our party of four shared two pizzas, wild mushroom and arugula, and a Meyer lemon pizza, a kale salad & burrata with crostini. Everything is prepared with local farm produce. The food was divine. The only complaint was there was loud music playing…it made conversation difficult. Overall a great meal and great restaurant
The choice and volume of music was not good. I had to ask for it to be turned down so our party (over 65) could hear one another. The choice of music could have been a more calming classical holiday selection or just classical. The sausage and pepper pizza on the menu should include an icon for level of heat and spice. I had to ask for water refills. The brioche French toast was disappointing.
Overpriced for what we received. A dinner for four with drinks cost us $400.
Skilled in the kitchen!! Service was top notch!!!
Wonderful celebration for my friend's birthday. Great food. Wonderful staff and service.
The service was overall not good. The main issue was that the bus boy kept trying to clear our plates when we were clearly not finished and that happened with each course. We were obviously there for a birthday, and I mentioned that to the host when we arrived, yet when we ordered dessert there was no candle. I was overall quite disappointed and will not go back any time soon.
The wait person offered "water or sparkling water," then charged for it.
Also, prices charged differed from menu.
Farm Shop’s menu consistently impresses. The chef creates interesting dishes that use local, seasonal ingredients in new and a interesting ways.
And the wait staff is knowledgeable about the food. They are clearly well trained and professional.
The food, the service, the drinks all fabulous fabulous fabulous! I especially LOVE their pizzas and all the many little appetizers!
My only only complaint is that I wish they'd make the outside where we sat a bit more decorated/festive. It was sort of bland and lacked style/color. Even a flower or plant on each table would go a long way. It needs a bit of warming up!
But otherwise, such a great experience and loved it!
