   I forget to come back to this wonderful restaurant and am always pleasantly surprised how delicious the food is. However, I didn't give this visit a 5 star review for 2 reasons. We had the pad thai with pork and the pork was inedible. The noodles were fine but the pork was terrible. Second, they asked if it was a special occasion and it was - a birthday - but they didn't do anything to celebrate it. Strange that they would ask and then disregard it???

   I'm so excited to know about Farmhouse Kitchen! The ambiance is fun, eclectic, well done. I also like all of the natural light from the large windows on 2 sides. The service was great and very friendly. The food was very good. The prices for each item seem on the high side (average entree in the $30s), but the portions are at least 2 meals.

   We have eaten here four or five times, always with a reservation. This time was for a birthday. The table we were first provided was unusable, the seats sank down so far that my chin was practically resting on the table. We asked if we could switch tables to one that had standard seats. We were told that there was a birthday party coming in and we needed to be done in 75 minutes. We agreed and made the switch. After the switch, we were told several times of the time constraint but our waiter never came by to take our order. It took 15+ minutes after our drink order before someone came back to take our food order. By the time the food arrived, we felt rushed to finish eating so we would be out before the other party arrived. There was no chance of getting dessert. If you are going to limit your reservations to 90 minutes per turn, then you need to be on top of your game and make sure orders are taken promptly so that people have time to eat their food and potentially get dessert. There are plenty of other Thai restaurants in Portland with similar quality food and without the pushiness of the staff.

   It was my partner’s birthday and while it wasn’t acknowledged at the restaurant, the food and drinks were delicious. It’s rather understaffed so be patient with the staff!

    Overall the ambiance isn’t bad but they do have a large screen TV in the restaurant. It had a cooking show on. The service was split - the waiter very friendly and back filling drinks, etc. the food came out for two people served and then a while later the third person was served. At that time there was maybe 30% of the tables filled, not busy. Based on the reviews I read, I was excited to take my daughter and sister-in-law after having a wedding dress fitting. Kind of a special event. The bill was $90 and I gave a 15% tip. Normally, I’d give more.

    Drinks are premixed - so no mocktail or substitution. We booked because menu looks to have gluten free vegan options. However, they only have 2 premade sauces for all their dishes - one is GF and one is vegan. So, our waitress brought out plain steamed riced and plain steamed veggies w/o any sauce as the only GF vegan option. It’s pretty pricey for a menu that’s all premade/ premixed.

    Arrived early but they still were able to seat us. I ordered the fish but it was smaller then what I imagined and although lighting a torch under the fish to make it hot was cool.. that fish was boiling hot 🥵. Cocktails cute but used exactly one shot to make it. For $18 I better be able to eat those flowers

    It was my boyfriend’s birthday. We got a good table and the food was great. However, the value for price was horrible and the server was rude. We also saw them celebrating everyone else’s birthday except his which made me feel very bad. We won’t be back.

    There are many variations of Thai cuisine and this place does stand out with it's own version. The atmosphere is fun and energetic, if that is critical in your dining experience, while the staff seems very friendly. However, the service overall was very, very slow. When it takes over 20-30 minutes to get your bottle of wine or beer and you find yourself strategically trying to order ahead of when you want it so it is at your table when your first is empty, that's a problem. The entire table of four was frustrated. Maybe order takeout and you won't have to deal with any drinks????

    This place is all about everything but food. The food and drinks look fancy but lacks true Thai food. I asked for spice multiple times and the waiter handed my Thai girlfriend duck sauce, which is NOT Thai at all and definitely not hot. If you’re looking for over priced drinks, over priced food that doesn’t even resemble Thai food, this place is for you. However, if you’re looking for a real Thai food restaurant, look anywhere else.

    What a fun and delicious lunch! The food was as delicious as we expected and the setting delightfully eclectic and magical. We have eaten at the San Francisco spot but only had delivery from the Portland branch before .... but we enjoy the setting so much we will make it a priority to return.

    It was not that busy and they actually had more then enough employees. Once we were seated I had to ask for someone to take our order after sitting there around 20 minutes. Once we were done and waiting for a long time again, I had to ask for our bill. Our waitress was talking and chatting with her coworkers both times. Also, the food was average for what we paid. I have never written a review before but felt it was necessary given the poor service. Aside from not helping us, the staff was friendly.
