   This newly opened restaurant at Descanso Gardens is a delight. The food is as beautifully presented as it is delicious. Staff is very attentive and courteous. As it is in Descanso, it is in a beautiful setting.

   Wonderful service, food, and ambiance. The restaurant is beautiful but pricey. If you have been on a cruise, and had exceptional servers, that is how it is here. Food was tasty with proper portions. The tables are made from the oak trees Descanso had to cut down. The murals are hand painted. We enjoyed our visit so much.

   amazing! The food is healthy, well prepared, extremely flavorful, and the share plates offerings are outstanding in variety and seasonality. We had a pesto, burrata cheese, peach, arugula, and prosciutto pizza that was superb! The wait staff, especially Molly was so attentive and filled us with fun facts about the tables being made from the oak trees that had fallen from a wind storm 3 years ago. The patio setting was tranquil and beautifully landscaped (of course you are at Descanso gardens), I especially appreciated the covered patio, shading us from solar radiation! Every aspect of the experience was delightful: food, ambience, service, and surroundings. The inside bar is gorgeous and again live edge wood from Descanso trees. Hand painted murals adorn the booth walls in the large open dining room. This is a local treasure here at Descanso Gardens.

   What a spectacular new space! The tables are made out of oak trees that fell in the gardens of Descanso and are magnificent. Paired with the high ceilings, beams, and hand painted murals, all in the natural setting of Descanso Gardens, it is an exquisite setting. The food was excellent. We had the soup of the day: a rich, flavorful corn soup. I had the roast salmon entree which was served with the freshest of pea pods and green beans, all spiced with a chili honey drizzle. Beautifully presented and very tasty. My husband had the Asian chicken salad which was lightly dressed with a savory dressing. He was quite satisfied. The service is excellent. Attentive, informative and seeking feedback. We look forward to returning soon.

   We shared a wonderful cheese plate, roasted carrots w/Cumin and cardoman last evening at Farmhouse as well as Asian short ribs. We enjoyed all of it, plus the ambience of the patio about 7pm. Very good wine list and service. We will definitely return. Everyone working hard there!

    Great experience at Farmhouse at Descanso. It was beautifully designed, the food was great, and the wait staff even better! Will be going back and can't wait to try the cocktails!
