We took some close friends to Farmers Table after eating there a few times, they Loved it as much as we did. Everything was perfect- the atmosphere, service, and food. What a treat. It was quiet because of what is going on and I hope they will be okay while everyone is staying home...
Not as good as we remembered. Felt rushed from the minute we sat down, the waitress asking for drink orders at the same time that we were provided menus. 3 of us ordered the salmon, all of which was dry and rather bland. My duck was much tougher than it should ever be.
We had a large group with kids and our server was amazing! She was kind and collected even when stuff spilled. She made sure we were well taken care of. The food was delicious! We’ll definitely return!
Food and service excellent. Interesting menu. Great cocktails.
Ordered mussels and clams. Got as many empty shells as mussels and clams. Coffee was lukewarm. Have been there before and had a better experience.
Amazing place! Great food, the staff was helpful and friendly. Highly recommend the tangerine mimosas! Fun to sit on the patio and watch all the dogs and their people walk by. This will become a go-to on our future trips to SD.
Authentic local sourced ingredients, delicious wood fired pizza and amazing burnt carrot salad. Filling and fairly priced- excellent service and value. Coffee was fantastic. .
Had a great meal at Farmer’s Table! We sat outside with our pup and it was a really nice atmosphere sitting next to the square and hearing live music (I think from another restaurant, but still loud enough for whole square). Food was delicious and perfect portions. Inside the restaurant looked very cool and I’d like to experience the ambiance next time when I don’t have my dog in tow.
This is not a place I would recommend in Little Italy at all. It's really big and crowded and the food was all completely sun par ..pizza was burned and our salad tasted bitter and inedible. I'm always down to try something new, but I will not be going back here.
Seated quickly and waiter was promptly there to take drink orders. Food was excellent. Recommend the chocolate lava cake to top it off...it was delicious. Highly recommend for a good time and good dinner.
Farmer's Table is always fun to visit. This time our server, Antonio, was so good and the food was excellent. The sea bass was just perfect!
Great food and more vegetarian options than most places.
Duck gnocchi was outstanding!
We love Farmers Table in Bay Park. This is the first time we went to the one located in Little Italy. We were very disappointed. They were out of several items on the menu (granted it was a holiday weekend and Little Italy was packed). We did not like the menu nearly as much as the Bay Park location. I had a hard time finding anything g on the menu that I wanted to order so I went with a flatbread even though I didn’t want the carbs. Waitress came back after placing our order to tell us yet again they were out of the ham that goes on my pizza and could they sub pepperoni. The bus boy was rude and interrupted us twice by yelling out at our table for everyone to pass their plates down. Then he came back later and hollered at us to pass our napkins down to him. We will probably try it out one more time because the location is amazing and hoping this was just an off night.
Would definitely return. Reservations easily made online, efficiently seated, food delivery quick.
I would have given the restaurant 5 stars if it wasn’t so noisy.
Delicious food, exceptional quality, not so cheap champagne!
The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so fun. Everyone there was very polite and attentive. A perfect experience for a Valentine’s Day dinner.
Excellent service. The restaurant was packed on Valentines Day event, but we had a reservation for six people and we were not rushed at all. Flatbreads and crustacean entrees were very good! Swordfish was just okay. I would go back, just not for fish.
Food was great. Staff was great, but a little bit short handed due to it being packed and Valentines day! Will be back for sure.
Everything was amazing! From the service to the food. Corkage fee was only $15 a bottle. The grilled octopus appetizer was delicious. Location is also beautiful, you can walk around Little Italy after!!
Great service and wonderful food. Lots of choices with variety. My husband and I loved everything we tried.
I loved the atmosphere, but the service was slow and inattentive. We had to finally ask for a wait person to come see us when we had been sitting there for 10 minutes. When we got our food, she again was no where to be found. But when it came to paying the bill, she was super fast. The food was average and not very flavorful. This is probably why we could get in for dinner while most other restaurants in Little Italy were packed. The hostess was very friendly though.
It was a group of 12 and they kept telling us they couldn’t split the bill. Some were paying cash and some with card and cash apps were suggested, but a lot of us didn’t use those apps. We were told they could turn the music off, but not down because there was only one speaker in the room and that was a bit odd. Our server was very friendly and the bill was eventually split. Food was great as always.
Stumbled across Farmer's Table as it was the only restaurant that had an reservation available before 9:30 pm! What a great find. All the food was amazing! We will definately back!!
Melissa our server was great. I dont know how she remembered all orders and requests from 10+ guests at our table not to mention the other tables that night.
Bartenders were great. They are knowledgable on craft cocktails and even hand stuff their olives. Customer service, food, speed, accuracy was a great experience. I would def return to try other seasonal dishes.
This place is a money machine thriving off of ignorant tourists. Too many tables, stressed out and overwhelmed staff, and disappointing, poor quality food trying to masquerade as rustic Italian.
My vegetarian dish was luke warm and raw. I couldn’t wait to leave.
all of the food that we ordered was prepared earlier in the day, the order was delivered to us within 3 mins of placing the order with the server. The taste reflected it....
We had really great service at Farmer's Table - Little Italy. This restaurant went above and beyond the traditional service experience since they had enough staff from hostess to waiters to the servers. Beyond the service, the Italian food was really good and reasonable priced for Little Italy standards. Highly Recommend.
Food was good had the sea bass for dinner. The clams and mussels appetizer were fantastic.
We had wonderful food but the service was super slow. We waited forever to get our food and then almost 30 minutes at the end to get our check, then we had to walk the payment inside ourselves.
Pork belly risotto was very dry. Risotto was not fully cooked.
While we were waiting for our drinks there was a rat that came from under our table across the patio and up the stairs. The waiter was aware and did nothing. The flat bread was soggy.
Great environment, however a little expensive for the quantity of food and drinks
My pizza was good but both my wife and her friends chicken dish was almost cold. Drinks were good.
Service was terribly slow. Sat outside in what seemed like the forgotten land. Took 10 min for our server to come over to take drink orders then another 10 min to come back and say they didn’t have the drink I ordered. Barely checked on us almost to the point we thought about walking out.
Were really hoping for more
the food was okay. our service was horrible. we made reservations and still waited 15 minutes to be seated. after being seated we not see our server for another 15 minutes. it was SD restaurant week which we were really excited about, our server had no idea what was on the menu or anything about any of the specials. we let them know that someone in our party had a dairy allergy and asked for her recommendations or what she new about the menu items. she recommended, she had to go back 4 times to ask i’m not sure who about the menu and even then had information wrong. we ended up having to do quiet a bit of meal swapping around our table to get a meal together for the person who had a dairy allergy as the server recommended a dish that was covered in a cream sauce. i had heard wonderful things about farmers table was so excited to it, however was so let down by the experience.
This is becoming my favorite restaurant. Each of our meals was delicious.
Went in for restaurant week and was very pleased with the design and decor of the restaurant. It being a Friday night, it was packed full up but we had no wait thanks to the reservation. There was a bit of a wait for our server but the staff was all very friendly.
Drinks were strong and tasty, especially the Truth or Pear and Blackberry Lemonade. The meal was delicious and hardy. I just was not overwhelmed with the desserts tried. But, highly recommend the pork belly and calamari/ octopus appetizers.
Plan on dining here again and definitely will be recommending it!
From the moment we checked in until the end of our meal everything was perfect! We all ordered different things and all the food was excellent. The service was top notch everyone we interacted with were professional and fun! As the organizer of this get together I’m so happy I selected Farmers Table!!
