    Service didn’t exist. We’re told they ran out of the food that they usually bring to your table. Our waitress has not came once to refill our coffee. Several empty pans at serving station all the time. I saw the signs of salmon and other kind of fish dish but they were empty every time I went to get the food. The noise level was unbelievable. You need yell so your parties can hear you. No service no food bad ambulance. Why waste money dinning here? Oh they charge you “wellness charges” but I don’t see their staff are well trained. The guy who took us to the table abandoned us when we requested a different one. We saw him went to sit others. So we literally found an empty table and sat down. No one questioned. What a mismanaged place. I have been to this place several times but won’t go there anymore.

    The food was very good for the reasonable price, our server was fantastic, the full menu has something for everyone, and the setting is great. Overall a great experience, definitely going to return.

    What I don’t understand, if I have reserved a table… why am I waiting for 15 minutes.. also this location has only one toilet… thats really awful. The waiter was great. Also the food needed more seasoning, it lacked seasoning. This was my first farmer’s experience… and honestly it wasn’t a good one.

    We used to enjoy this restaurant whenever we were in the Washington Harbor area. At our last visit, the food was mediocre, the service was poor, and the entire experience was overpriced. I will not be going back there soon.

    Farmers Fishers always lives up to our expectations. It is especially great when we have a group of picky people with differing tastes. We had relatives visiting, plus kids in tow so need to please a lot of people. It’s in a pretty location by the river and has a warm, cozy ambience. Our server was professional and knowledgeable. We loved the BBQ dipping sauce that came with the fresh pretzels so he offered to give us a container with our leftovers. I love the purple and black kale salad with the plancha tuna add-on.. It is a louder restaurant and often busy so soft spoken people should expect to have to speak louder than normal. We didn’t mind it at all though. We’ll be back soon for the holiday dinner offerings.

    First time at Farmers Fishers Bakers and we are overall very pleased with our dinner. The crab cake was plentiful, the burgers richly flavored, the vinegar potatoe salad really really good, and the children pizza was excellent as were the three mini burgers. The NE clam chowder did not disappoint either. The restaurant was filled to capacity and because of the high ceiling, the noise level was extremely high. But cannot fault the food for that.

    Host was overwhelmed, seated 25 minutes after reservation at end two top by lots of traffic, brought wrong food out the first time. It was fine, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. Feels like a Cheesecake Factory.

    The food was great as always! However, the service was much to be desired. The waitress would take the plates away and the people walking around with the appetizers would stop at our table but I made the best of it any way.

    We enjoyed our weekend buffet meal. Diverse selection of foods in this casual dining establishment. However, the best part of our experience was our waiter, Ahmed. He was professional and attentive to our needs. When I visit, I want him as our waiter. The young ladies at the front counter were extremely helpful when we wanted to move our table.

    While the setting was great. Noticed the food has dropped a few pegs. The shrimp has gotten smaller and in pieces instead of whole shrimp. The food on the line had not been replaced or rotated before dryness set in. The waiter was oblivious to checking in and serving hot coffee. Some extra services for employee messages were added yo the bill and should/ is not customer responsibility. Not like it use to be. 😩

    Food was lackluster. Steak was tasteless and overcooked. Chicken was dry. Green beans were tasteless. Presentation was messy. I expect more for these prices. But what struck me most was the lack of cleanliness. The bathroom, the cafe, and where food was being prepared was all dirty. The bathroom especially was filthy. If I had seen the state of the restaurant, my family would have never eaten there. Disappointing.

    I choose to come to Farmers Fishers Bakers because I read good reviews, and it was recommended. As a culinary professional, I was dissatisfied with some of the food. The honey fried Chicken and Taco items were great. However, the Cinnamon Rolls were hard and dense. The grits were horrible. When we mentioned it to the manager, she said that they the grits were stone ground, regardless of the type of grits they should be smooth and creamery not grainy and thick like paste. I could go on about the other brunch items but choose to say this, the culinary team needs to regroup and put more effort into preparing the food properly and PLEASE try another Cinnamon Roll recipe.

    The service was excellent! However, the food here has just gone downhill. This visit and last were disappointing. I also wonder what happened with my pie. I was told they were out, but after a disappointing replacement dessert, a slice magically appeared from the kitchen. The server told me they baked one, however, the slice was cold so that wasn't the truth. Either way, I am unsure I can call this my favorite restaurant anymore. I've been coming to this restaurant since it opened. Very sad.

    We were headed for the Kennedy Center and wanted to eat nearby. This place was a pleasant surprise. We had eaten at Founding Farmers, which is also excellent but pricey, and we expected the same here. But, the menu was smaller, and less expensive. This was a surprise considering the location in the heart of DC/Georgetown waterfront. The food was excellent. Ceviche to die for. (Flank) Steak and enchiladas cooked perfectly with excellent sides. Even the scallops were good (I am not a fan). Highly recommended. We will go back.

    The service was excellent and the food featured normal fare but with an extra umph to make it that much better like a short beer with the fish and chips, or a cinnamon stick infused syrup for the chicken and waffles. It is great location with nice ambience. Honestly, it's quite loud like a bustling restaurant so it can make conversation a little difficult. All worth it.

    Unfortunately food was cold. We had to ask for the pass around items never even offered it to us. Inconsistent information about food availability and they charged us for coffee when they said it was included.

    I am so sorry for this disappointing experience. We clearly dropped the ball and caused several mishaps during this visit. I apologize for the miscommunication on the inclusion of coffee with our weekend brunch buffet. Though coffee is not included with the cost, the passed items are and it is unfortunate we did not get those items o you. I know we can do better and I hope you will give us another try. -Tiffany

    Wonderful from start to finish! Great selection, everything was so flavorful, fresh and appetizing. The atmosphere is festive, clean and relaxed. Servers and managers always available for anything extra you might need.

    Unfortunately this restaurant was a disappointment for Thanksgiving. Outside patio was poorly warmed, seated 30 minutes after our reservation time, and food was mediocre and cold. Overpriced for quality of food and nonexistent service.

    Had booked for Thanksgiving but had to wait 45 mins for our table. Table calling process was a bit disorganised, and names of people not called out, so waiting guests could not hear. Waitress walked around aimlessly trying to find guests, based on their names on a slip of paper.

    Don’t ever do Thanksgiving here - we had reservations, got there early and there were 40 people waiting ahead of us for their reservations. We waited 45 minutes before our table was ready. Terrible experience.
