Venue is great!! GEORGETOWN on the waterfront is BEAUTIFUL!!! We Had reservations for Sunday brunch...the food was delicious...Waitress was very nice and hospitable....be sure to hold onto your silverware though they take it everytime...once forgot to replace it and I was ready to start on my scrumptious rice pudding....lol...my husband says if you visit the mens room be sure to aim properly there is threat of bodily harm...for missed targets :)

First the navigation to this place was off it might have been a sign of what was to come. Upon entering the restaurant we were immediately addressed being we should have been there at 10 and got there at 10:30. Our waitress took sometime to come and greet us but the restaurant at that time was settling down. She came over and began to proceed reluctantly. She didn't go over the menu or specials the other restaurant I went to had the special for restaurant week clearly spelled out. It's restaurant week many people want to try the restaurants out or see the deal. She basically explained it even though I had already read the info I just wasn't completely clear on what they were doing. This waitress was terrible and I ended up not liking the food she told me the Jambalya wasn't spicy and my mistake because it was as Jambalya is expected to be. She didn't offer to get me anything else we had to ask several times for the dessert menu then she walked up and gave the one they had I guess to the couple in front of us first. The service was so bad it was incredible. There are other places on the Washington Harbor to eat at and I'd suggest going there not worth it. It was terrible there are so many better places to go in DC the other review was right about this place. Don't let the beautiful pictures fool you service for us was beyond bad and the food still there are better places.
Overall, this was a very disappointing dining experience. The restaurant was not adequately staffed. For instance we all ordered a first course, one person receive their salad and the rest of us received our appetizer about 15 minutes later. Then three minutes after the rest of us received our appetizers the kitchen try to serve us our entrées.I did also took about 20 minutes from when the drinks were ordered to when we receive them. Additionally we asked for some soy sauce and that took 15 minutes from when the appetizer was received to win we got soy sauce. This was a very disappointing experience
FFB never disappoints! Crab dip was phenomenal, salmon was delicious, and overall experience was perfect! Host went out of the way to help seat us outside and the service was some of the best in the DC area! Not to mention the waterfront view, fun outdoor fountain and overall atmosphere.
I must agree with the many reviews that said this place is loud and service is slow. I wish I'd read them before making the reservation.
Read the reviews on-line and booked our reservation well out front of our trip to DC. Reservations are a must. I ordered the seafood Jumbalaya and it was very good. My wife had the pork belly taco but she didn’t like the crunchy shell. The kicker is the dessert menu. We shared the butternut cake with the pecan ice cream. Outstanding, they have one of the best dessert lists we have ever seen.

The restaurant was very busy which caused the service to be a bit slow. Our first course wasn't served until after we already had our second course, but the manager came out to apologize and all of the food was delicious! Overall we had a wonderful dining experience for our date night while also discovering a new restaurant thanks to Restaurant Week!
Menu selections were great. Food was prepared well and served hot and delicious. The bar and drinks were outstanding and fun. Service was friendly and not rushed which we appreciated. It was a little noisy if you are looking for a quiet atmosphere. We would definitely go back. Great location as well.
Not as good as I expected my coleslaw had been sitting out for to long dried out on top layer and my fish was under cooked white fish with a lot darker meat
We were actually turned away due to food allergies!! In this day and age I find this to be unacceptable. While I appreciate honesty- we looked at the menu before making the reservation and planned to order plain pasta with either butter or olive oil and garlic for my son who is very allergic to tree nuts and sesame. They told us they couldn’t make that safe because sesame seed or nuts could get in the dish!! I imagine the kitchen cannot be that organized and clean if these items are getting into a plain Pasta dish. We choose where we eat carefully and have eaten out in hundreds of places that kindly offer to make his pasta in a separate pan. This was very disturbing and unaccomodating.
We were expecting the restaurant week menu and had the brunch menu instead (+$13 per person). Otherwise really good, would recommend.
The food was great. Everything I tried from the brunch buffet was delicious. I never get my monies worth at a buffet and the same is true in this case. We were seated very quickly. It was too loud for us to hear each other.
Food was fab, and the brunch lunch bowl is soooo pretty. Our waiter was hot too!
Great service, good ambiance and not too loud for a friday night, steak was a little bit overcooked, asked for rare but got more of a medium, but everything tasted great and i will be returning!
Went for restaurant week. Salads were fantastic but main course meals were very average and overpriced. Fries were soggy and cold. Stick with apps and salads.
Food was delicious! Service was sub par. Our server was pleasant enough when we saw her but definitely not attentive. We waited almost 10 minutes after being seated before our server appeared. That seemed to be par for the course: we had to wait for our server at each step...to place our order, to get refills on drinks, to be checked on after our food arrived, to get the dessert menu...you get the picture.
Steak was over and poorly cooked. Sides were under appetizing. Desert took for ever. Kitchen messed up order.
The only reason I gave a 4 star review for Service was because of the Hostess. My first introduction to the restaurant was bleh. Wasn’t greeted with a friendly hello and when I was taken to the table I had asked about a the “restaurant week menu” and the hostess rolled her eyes and scoffed then flipped my menu and said this is the special menu you are referring too. All of this could have been avoided if the hostess had presented the “restaurant week menu” to me as I sat down instead of just leaving it on the table. Luckily, our waiter was FANTASTIC. Food was delicious with equally good portions
Our server, Chris, was outstanding. His recommendations were spot on. Food was really good. Liked the chicken dishes and salads. Desserts also were excellent.
Service was terrible. Our waitress was irritated from immediate hello and barely checked our table. Had to track down other waiters for anything including the check..
Went here while on vacation based on reviews. Even with reservations still had to wait on seating. At 7:00 on a Wednesday night, they were out of 3 of the 4 beers we ordered. My entree was missing a main part of the dish and never received it. One of our desserts had a hair baked in it. And lastly, ticket was completely wrong. Waitress barely offered apology for any of the issues.
My friend and I were there for a birthday celebration. Our party were eight people. We ate a bunch of appetizers and Maine dish. We bring our cupcake to the restaurant and their was serve after the meal in a perfect timing. We had a great time.
Restaurent week lunch menu was 18 dollars or less-> not many choice... nice desserts(sundae and icecream sandwitch) were also excluded :( .

Great setting and ambiance, but our 8:45pm reservation wasn't kept, we got to a table about 9:10pm. the host said it was a busy night, restaurant week/day? Other than the delay in setting the meal was fine and the family enjoyed our time at your establishment. Thanks
We loved the food, but waited 45 minutes beyond our 8:30pm Tuesday night reservation to be seated.
They were overbooked and understaffed, which they blamed on Restaurant Week. We arrived early and were told we could not be seated until our reservation time. There was no comfortable place to wait. We were seated 10 minutes past the time and then it took another 10 minutes to get water. They were obviously busy, service was slow and place was very noisy. The food, however, was excellent, just not worth the aggravation with so many other good choices nearby.
Rice for the sushi was hard and the steak wasn’t very good at all.
Had a fantastic family meal at FFB during our recent DC vacation. They were packed for restaurant week and the hostess team were a bit overwhelmed (impacted service rating). However, the wait staff, food and restaurant management were excellent! We will definitely plan a return visit! It is an exciting location along the Potomac with lots of people watching. Enjoy!!
Very good, but not up to the hype. Also, not a great location if you are coming to see the water while you eat. There are better views elsewhere right here, and the quality of the food is not reflected in the price. Desserts were 'meh'. But good ambience and someplace you need to go once because of the hype.
I arrived early and was able to get seated before my actual reservation time because I was told they were slow. However, after being seated, the process for everything else took forever. We were seated at 7:15, but didn’t receive our meal until about 8:30 and my friend’s order was incorrect and had to be returned. We ordered desssert and I didn’t receive mine until after the check was paid and my friend and I had been sitting chatting for about 30-35 minutes.
This was a our first time and it was a nice treat for my husband's birthday.
Our waiter, Jake, was excellent- knowledgeable, attentive, and just the right amount of friendly. The Beachcomber cocktail was delicious and the shrimp scampi was rich and very satisfying. Great dinner!
It was so loud in there we had to cup our hands around our mouths and shout at each other. Very frustrating and significantly negatively impacted our experience. I won't be back because I can't have an easy conversation.

It was my birthday! My meal was unique and amazing. Ryan was friendly and provided prompt service.
The service was good as always. Wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Cocktails were tasty. I’ve always enjoyed everything I’ve eaten here so was excited about trying a steak. But I have to say I was a little disappointed in the Maui Ribeye. The flavor was excellent but it wasn’t hot when it got to my table. It wasn’t cold enough to send back, just not hot enough to be perfect. Neither was the corn pudding tamale or the rapini. The rapini wasn’t tasty and the stems were woody so I didn’t really take more than a few bites. My guests though, really enjoyed their meals. One had puffy corn tacos (beef) and the other had shrimp scampi. I will go back and give them another chance. I know they can do better.
We came here on back to back weekends because we liked it so much. The brunch buffet was amazing! Great value, great variety, great flavors. I highly recommend it. On the following weekend, we were too full to eat the buffet, but the regular menu didn’t disappoint. The crab and artichoke dip with the freshly-baked bread strips was a delicious start to the meal. I had the poke bowl with a Clementine vodka cocktail. All good!
Brunch never disappoints. Wide variety of foods, including breakfast staples such as French Toast, Fried Chicken, Mimosas, bacon, etc. Menu, service and foods were all great, as usual.
