I would not call the noise level "energetic", more like annoying

We were abandoned on the front end, then after being offered a dessert menu(but not given), abandoned for 15+ minutes

Been there twice now. Impossible burger is amazing and so satisfying and had a spice ahi tuna salad this most recent time - flavors and textures were phenomenal. Two for two!
And service always very pleasant.
I took out of town friends there on the first trip and they actually went back there for another meal on their own! Now that's a recommendation!

The food is normally better. The buffet brunch had limited options and we (party of 4) waited almost 45 mins for the waiter to bring things to our table that were included with the brunch. Several items were out of stock inside the buffet and no one seemed to be able to share when they would be refilled.
Other people that sat down after us received biscuits, cinnamon rolls, pizza, and sushi much faster than we did. They didn’t have to ask. We did. By the time we got those items, we were already full from the items in the buffet. We had to ask several times for those items. They were included in the brunch. The waiter was friendly, I don’t know if it was his fault or the kitchen staff. I would hope to have better service next time if I go back. The service was also poor when I went there for Thanksgiving. So my past two visits have been unpleasant. I think I have one more chance left in me so we’ll see what happens next time.

Very crowded for Sunday brunch. The big issue was not the amount of people but the lack of attendants specially at the bar. Took forever to get us the menu, the drinks and eventually close the tab and go to our table.
The waitress was regular but looked much more prepared to deal with customers having the brunch menu than my crew which rather had the lunch menu. The food was good, nothing amazing. Might recommend due the amazing location, but that is all.

Saturday night & it was very ‘happening’. They took it all in stride—-great food, service & we got a booth to boot. Hadn’t been to that part if the city for a while & glad to see such a nice spot doing business & serving up good, not routine, fare.

The ambience was great! I would love to see more variety on the menu. I prefer the Pennsylvania Ave location better for the food menu

Mother daughter brunch to celebrate her 21st birthday in Georgetown. Brunch was fun but it would have been even better if they had acknowledged her birthday. The staff was aware of the special occasion.

The only reason why they didn’t get all 5s was because we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated for a 9 PM reservation. The food and drinks were delicious and our waitress was wonderful. Would highly recommend, but I did expect better customer service for their prices.

I finally was able to eat here after years of my daughter telling me how amazing it is - the menu is diverse and so good - WINGS, Mussels, fish - all cooked perfectly. Fun decor and atmosphere. People seem to enjoy working there as well as dining there.

Farmers Fishers Bakers was a disappointment. I am not inclined to write negative restaurant reviews because some degree of understanding and forgiveness is in order when judging human beings performing a difficult job. Serving the public in an extremely busy restaurant is no easy task, but the staff at this restaurant could do a great deal to improve the customer experience. The environment is frenetic and loud. We waited at the entrance where no one acknowledged our presence-three young people continued to perform their work, never looking up, and when they finally addressed us we were placed in a crowded uncomfortable seating area. We waited an unacceptably long time to be seated and when we were, we were taken to a booth where someone has spilled water on the seat cushion. "Someone spilled water-we put a napkin over the wet spot-be careful" we were advised, with no apology, no offer of another seat.

The restaurant was so loud that conversation was difficult. Our waitress was quite nice and very patient in answering our questions about the various menu offerings which were plentiful and reasonably appealing. Our food was just ok, but the beignets were a real disappointment-not really beignets but popovers with powdered sugar ( and they were raw inside).

This experience was not terrible, but I regret that I chose it for a birthday celebration. Many restaurants offer a more hospitable environment . A little more kindness and attention to detail and courtesy would have been very welcome.

Great food, service and wine/beer selection. It’s a loud restaurant so it’s good for a group but not a romantic dinner.

The food was amazing as always! Service only lost points because we were placing our food order before the waitress had asked us what we wanted to drink, which was bizarre. Otherwise it was great! This is the perfect place to bring friends from out of town, which is what we did tonight.

It was my birthday evening. Fantastic wings appetizer, excellent drinks, great ambiance, and fantastic birthday cake and service. Would definitely return again with other friends/family. Very clean restaurant and great surroundings at the Georgetown Waterfront! Must visit in DC!

The food was good. But the menu does not give accurate descriptions. My husband had tacos which came with a fried egg on them. He does not like eggs and nowhere on the menu did it say eggs. The apps were great. My jambalaya was really good. Our friend had the halibut special which was good. The cocktails were good. Waitress was GREAT!

One thing I like here is the option to buy a half-a-glass of beer (I think they call it a "short.") That's about all I like so it's nice that's what I can order. I'd prefer it if they had a bread basket when you sit down, though.

Fun place to enjoy unique foods that are sourced from local farmers. The taste was excellent, the atmosphere was energetic, but getting there requires lots of patience on a Saturday night.

We had made dinner reservations for 5:30 pm as we had tickets to a show at the Kennedy Center later. The line of people trying to get a table was so long that we almost couldn’t get in the revolving door! We did have to wait a few minutes for a table, but given how busy they were we were just happy to get seated. The service was great, the food and drinks were delicious (and what a huge menu!), and the energetic setting right on the Georgetown waterfront on a gorgeous spring day was amazing. Highly recommended!

I have to say was somewhat disappointed in our experience.
Despite a reservation, and checking in 30 min. early, we still waited 50 minutes beyond our reservation time to be seated. Our waitress, China, was very nice and did a good job considering how packed the place was! She was actually the highlight of our experience.
Crab dip was good, but was shy on the crab meat. Brick Oven Pretzel was nice and hot, but the dips are pretty suburban. One of our party ordered the Marinated Daily Steak which while cooked properly, was extremely tough, as was the steak add on I included on my Fried Brussels Sprouts Salad which was woefully shy of Brussels sprouts. Other meals were good, not outstanding. The Banana Pudding Pie was yummy, but could have been improved with a shortbread or Graham cracker crust. Drinks were terrific. Would be willing to try another location, I have dined at their location at Tysons, again with the same issue, waited 45 min. despite a reservation, but the food was so superior, it made up for it. Great people watching.

We arrived at the restaurant a little later than our reservation. We didn't have to wait long for them to seat us. Unfortunately, we were seated at a dirty table. I thought the spot on the table was water until I touched it and it was sticky. I also noticed water stains on the table. My food was only ok; I ordered the fish platter. My guest got the honey fried chicken which was delicious. We ordered beignets, which were told would take 15 mins to cook. When they came to the table they were cold. I asked for a manager and asked if it was supposed to be hot, he said yes. I told him we had waited 15 mins for a cold dessert. He did remove it from the bill. Overall I don't think I will be going back. It's not worth it.

Appetisers were good. Main course and dessert were average. Feels like a tourist trap. The food at the Founding Farmers in DC (sister restaurant) is so much better. Was hoping this place would be similar to Founding Farmwrs which was why I booked it.
