DIdn't realize that they don't serve lunch on Saturday & Sunday---it's a buffet brunch only. Wish I saw a note about it when I made the reservation. Extremely noisy and crowded. Waiter didn't fully explain the options of other dishes (pizza, etc.) that could be brought to our table.
Rock N’ Roll Half marathon celebration
Food was great and other than the waterfront scenery being under construction, the place looked wonderful!
Great Night out with some friends. Food was excellent from apps to drinks and dessert. Will return again.
Winter Pie cocktail was DELICIOUS. Our waitress was very scattered and was missing much of the time to the point where someone else stepped in to take our order. When our waitress returned, she put in the wrong order for 1 in our party, so that person had to wait for a new meal while the reset of us ate. Management apologized and took that meal off the tab, which was the right thing to do. The tiny complimentary birthday cupcake was hard; we were glad we ordered another dessert.
This was a great lunch location! Choose it as an impromptu lunch date and it did not disappoint. Our server was nice, and honest about the menu options and selections. What we choose for our options were great for lunch, can’t wait to return.
From the start of our arrival things were rocky. The two ladies at the reservation desk did no acknowledge us!!! However one of the girls whom came to pour my coke ( African American girl with weird shaped glasses) was beyond rude. I was trying to explain something to her when she gave me so much attitude and walked off in mid sentence. Our food took over an hour to reach our table. The waitress came back to say our food was backed up because we ordered one well done burger and then she stated the kitchen was very backed up. First of all the patties are super thin. needless to say the manager Paul (who could careless) came to the table with a complete different story about our food! Basically tried to down play his staffs unprofessionalism. My co workers and I come to this establishment 24/7 and it is ridiculous to even be treated like this. Also the company I work for orders catering as well! ALOT. Very bad customer service!!!!! I will not be back.
The food is fresh and very well prepared. Shared plates are large and feed 3-4 as starters. Wonderful staff that lets you take your time.
One of our diners has a dairy allergy and they were so accommodating and everything came out tasty and dairy free. 5 stars!
Service was ridiculous. Waited at least 15 minutes between each visit to the table.
Great food. Good selection of beers. Often crowded. Make a reservation early!
Went to celebrate my sis for her birthday and Kelly was so awesome! I’m never disappointed when i dine at Farmers Fishers Bakers. The Salmon was AMAZING! And definitely try the Purple & Black Kale salad - Delicious! I can’t wait to go back
Amazing tuna with Brussels sprouts ! All five of us had rave comments about every dish. Nice wine list too.
Amazing food, and excellent service. Went to celebrate our anniversary and we were not disappointed! Crab dip was so good! And try the fish special!
Food and service are always great!
The service was excellent but the steak was of a poor quality and over cooked.
This was our first bad experience at Farmers Fishers and we eat here often. They were 30 minutes late with our reservation and 2 hours after we arrived we still hadn't been served our food. It was that odd time right as their (awesome) buffet was wrapping up so the vibe was chaotic to say the least. We had friends in town from Germany and they wanted to see the waterfront so we were excited to bring them to FF but it did not deliver. One of the employees told us they lost our ticket in the kitchen but there was no compensation which was disappointing. We left in a worse mood than when we arrived :/
Can’t wait to come back with more friends. Really enjoyed the ambience and the food selection.
My mother and I went for the brunch buffet .To our delight, we could order sushi, pizza, and several other things in addition to the buffet. My favorite were the pupusa bar and the caramelized grapefruit--sugar on grapefruit takes the bitter edge off of it and really transforms it into a treat!
Another great brunch. Always good, a great birthday!
Great! Just wish to have had more space between tables
Food was AMAZING!!!!! Do you hear me!!!! AMAZING!!!!!
Loved it, once again! Farmers, Fishers, Bakers is one of my favorite Georgetown spots and continues to impress! Thank you, again!
The length of the wait after the reservation time continues to baffle me. I've been to this place a few times, and every time its been at least a 20 minute wait past the actual reservation time. The hosts aren't even apologetic about the wait, at the very least they could acknowledge you're waiting well past your reservation time, if not apologize for it.
Anyway, the food and drink are solid, I just wouldn't recommend going on a weekend night.
Great restaurant but we had to wait one hour past our reservation time.
I had a great experience at this restaurant! It was very busy but we still had a great time! We talked to the manager Logan for a few minutes and he was so kind and welcoming. Our server Ashley was so sweet and attentive. She knew the menu well and had great suggestions. Awesome customer service! I will be back I’m sure!
Had to wait 30 minutes for a 6:00 reservation. This was not acceptable, but food & service was terrific per usual. One of my favorite places in DC.
TOO LOUD!!! TOO crazy! Too Big. But terrific, fresh, creative food and drinks. Hard to relax, but hard to forget excellent munchies. Service quite good--gracious and friendly. Have to get corner table. Amberjack fish exquisite and so well seasoned. Pasta superb; bread and butter knock your socks off.
We are in DC for business. Had a chance to sight see and grab dinner on our own. We had shared an Uber w/ a young gentleman who suggested your restaurant
Open table was great w/ reservations.
We arrived at the restaurant a few minutes late but was in the timeframe allowed.
We were seated after only a very short wait.
The food was excellent our server was delightful a little noisy but it was a great experience especially since the food was sooo good
A very pleasant evening.
I made a reservation a week ahead of time and at the end it made no difference whatsoever. They accommodated a couple without reservation faster than they did my wife and I with reservation (on her birthday and they were notified). They even gave them a better table. I gave 5-star rating for service just because the waiter was amazing! Not the same service from the hostess though. T
Making a reservation through the opentable was extremely easy and upon arriving at the restaurant, my friends and I were seated right away. The food was excellent and it was a buffet style brunch. Everything tasted fresh, quality, and was replenished without a long wait.
As a vegetarian, finding a spot that caters to all and does it really well is rare. Fully appreciated the wide variety of options and the fact that it was all quite delicious. The only criticism I would make is that there were no signs indicating what each item was and sometimes it was hit or miss in terms of whether something was vegetarian, gluten free, containing peanuts/seafood etc. And since this is a very popular brunch spot, service was not the best. But overall, definitely going to go back and would 100% recommend!
My biggest complaint is that nothing is labeled. I took a sizable portion of scrambled eggs because I thought they may be mac & cheese. I don't like scrambled eggs. I do like to know what I'm eating and there were many items I couldn't identify. Also, the passed items were slow in coming. If the cinnamon rolls and biscuits are supposed to be warm welcome items, they should have arrived close to when we sat down. Also, we had to ask our waiter when the passed items would arrive. The benedicts and pizza never showed up. However, many items were very tasty. I thought the meatballs and fried chicken were stars. The cheesy grits were very runny. When we have had them at any other restaurant, they are much denser. I enjoyed the French Toast, but my wife thought it was too soft. The menu says thick cut bacon but it was pork belly which has a different flavor. Brisket is not listed on the menu but it was served and was very good. I had to ask for kettle corn even though there was a lot of it on a tray in the back but none on the serving line. There was not a lot of variety of desserts. Overall a positive experience but many tweaks would make it ever better.
Exceptional food as usual. FF&B never lets me down!
The staff and food were great. We arrived about 15 minutes late for our reservation but only had a 5 minute wait.
The food was ok, not worth the price and in my opinion very over rated. I got the shrimp scampi and it was mediocre at best. The best thing we ordered was a the beignets. It was very loud in the dinning room. We also made a reservation and had to wait 20 min before our table was ready. Overall an ok experience but I won’t go back unless a friend picks it.
The food and service were amazing!! It was just very loud
Very hard to hear.
I had family in town and the eclectic menu was perfect for all of us!
Special of the day fish (Corvina) over cook!
