It was a very positive experience overall! Service was a bit slow, but other than that super happy with our time there.
This is probably my 5th visit for brunch, it’s always awesome and fresh. French toast, purple salad and the taco bar are my favorite. Sushi is also notably be good. I’ll be back for lunch or dinner next time.
Thank you so much for dining with us! -Jessica
The service was poor, and our waitress acted as if we were an annoyance to her. I almost didn’t want to tip, but I didn’t want to be a bad person. I made sure that they knew the birthday girl was gluten free, but they brought out a donut with a candle… everything with the service was horrible.
Enjoyed the Saturday brunch and window table with great view of the waterfront.
Great place for brunch during a family visit. Food and service are excellent and never disappoints.
Very nice decorations with a view of skating rink . Very friendly staff and good food!
The front reception is consistently rude. Our server was the bright spot. He was very sweet, friendly and helpful. The buffet style food was okay, but not great. The Bloody Mary was way too spicy.
Oh no! I am very sorry for the disappointing outcome to your brunch visit this time. I would love the chance to touch base and hopefully turn this around! Thanksgiving feast it was too much food, and expensive for who doesn’t eat too much
M’y review is only on Thanksgiving dinner, service is really good, ambiance is very nice but food was a bit disappointing, the butternut squash was tasty, turkey was not seasoned enough sweet potatoes were a little bland, steak was delicious though and I wish the apple pie crust wasn’t soft
Great time at my second Thanksgiving with them!!!!
Thank you so much for celebrating Thanksgiving with us and we hope to see you soon, Linda! -Najjah :)
Wonderful Thanksgiving I passed! I recommend for a nice evenning
Thank you so much for celebrating Thanksgiving with us, Sergio! We hope to have you visit us soon! -Najjah :)
Excellent food in rustic surroundings emulating a barn with very private booths along the back of the restaurant.
So glad you enjoyed everything! Please come back soon! -Jessica
Food was good, it was thanksgiving dinner, which is a super busy day, but the service was not good. Might be better on a less crowded day.

Thanksgiving Day meal from the pre fixe menu. The meal as a whole was OK. The breads and Dakota butter were delicious. The soup was very good and an appropriate temperature. But my entree (ham and several sides) must have been sitting in the pass for a while because the temperature was tepid. The pecan pie was very tasty but was actually cold, as in right out of the fridge. I expected pecan pie to be served warm or at least room temperature.
I might give them another try if I stay in DC. I ❤️ the concept and that they were started by NoDak farmers. I lived in ND for 3 years and they’re amazing people up there.
We booked for thanksgiving. What a disappointment. The food came cold. Soup was cold. The gravy was cold. They gave us 2 corn breads for 5 people, and would not bring us more. They menu said adults $42 and children under 12 $20. They charged us the adult rate for a 10 and a 6 year old. They took care of that after I brought it to their attention, but it should have never been done. But the worst part was that we were RUSHED through dinner. We had not even finished our soup before the entree was on the table. Some of us were still eating, when they brough our desert, and while I was in the middle of dessert, they slapped the bill on the table, and 5 minutes laster, expected me to pay, while I was still paying. Seriously it was ridiculous.
The soup was cold, the plates looked messy and and not appetizing, and we were rushed, and charged extra. The biggest disappointment ever at this resturant. If you can not handle the crowd, you should NOT book so many people, and then rush them through. It was a waste of money, and effort. We would have definitely enjoyed another resturant much better, and will probably never go back again. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.
Hi, Camelia. Thank you for your review and sharing these details with our team. I am so sorry your visit started off on the wrong foot, and nothing about our service or food turned your experience around for the better. This said, I'd love to connect and find a way to make this right! Please email me: Hospitality@frg.farm with a copy of your review, date dined & location. -Najjah
Our adult son has several food allergies, some of which are uncommon. The waiter, assistant manager and cooking staff went out of their way to make sure that he had a Thanksgiving dinner that he could enjoy.
The rest of our party had excellent dishes without modifications from the Thanksgiving menu.
This is our sixth year coming to Fisher‘s Farmers and bakers for Thanksgiving though it was really good my turkey was a little dry and tough. Everything else was fabulous.
Thank you for continuing to dine with us! Look forward to seeing you again soon! -Jessica
Thanksgiving meal was very delicious! Staff was very cautious with food allergies! Will definitely be coming back!
This was a Thanksgiving reservation. Only issue was an initial wait of fifteen minutes to be seated for our 3pm reservation, although it was quite hectic around that time, so it was expected. Great service all around. Turkey portion for the amount we paid was on the small side.
Really good butternut squash soup which we will be back for! Great spread for a reasonable price!
We are so thrilled to know you enjoyed the butternut squash soup! Please visit us again, Kimberly! -Najjah :)
Our server, Frederick was very attentive. It was Thanksgiving day and the restaurant was packed but we never felt neglected. The food was fabulous. We throughly enjoyed the experience.
Thank you so much for those kind words! I will definitely pass that along! Look forward to seeing you again soon! -Jessica
Very good , we must return some day. Excellent food
We are so thrilled to know that you enjoyed yourself, Eileen! Please visit us again soon! -Najjah :)
I was disappointed in the Thanksgiving meal. The turkey was dry and tough. The servings were plentiful. But cruciferous veggies were undercooked. Mashed potatoes tasted funny to me, and were very salty. There wasn’t much gravy, and you couldn’t ask for more of anything. The salad (as one choice of appetizer) was bland and uneventful with just romaine hearts as a base and some dates and purple grapes. The butternut squash soup was tasty, and spicy, but it was served luke warm. I enjoyed the cranberry crème fraîche dollop and the pepitas. But if someone was averse to spicy, there was no warning that his soup had a kick to it. The main dish plates were static, and everyone got the same thing (except for the protein, that was customizable). Our table only got the turkey, so no comment on the other proteins. Desserts were good. But not enough detail again as to what you would get. Didn’t know most of them came with ice cream or whipped cream, and they put chocolate sauce and ice cream on top of the pecan pie. That was two desserts in one. Best dessert was the pumpkin spiced cheesecake. They knocked that out of the park. Their pumpkin pie was severely lacking. Topped with cinnamon spiced whipped cream. I think the pie needed a bit of salt to balance out the other sweet and spice flavors.
The ambiance was nice. Great view of the ice skaters from the window seat. I just wish the meal was better.
Thank you for your review and I am so sorry for lack of accommodation displayed by our service team. I am also sorry the food ordered failed to fit the bill, and all in all, you were disappointed with your Thanksgiving experience. It is sad to say we failed at our first impression, and I'd love the chance to turn this around! Please email me: Hospitality@frg.farm with a copy of your review, date dined and location. -Najjah
