   Great location along the water front and fountain. Vibrant ambiance. Food was excellent. They know what they’re doing with the seafood. Highly recommend the ceviche. We had both the mango coconut shrimp and the simple tuna ones. The tuna was a little salty but that could be due to the capers. Still worth getting. Among us we had the ciopino, fried combo, and white pizza with Brussels sprouts. Wasn’t a huge fan of the cheese blend (provolone?) used on the pizza. Didn’t strike the right note with the toppings. A fresh mozzarella or even goat cheese would’ve paired better. Service was good. Very busy Saturday night so a little slow but servers were friendly and clearly doing their best. Biggest complaint and warning is the bogus 5% Covid recovery fee that is still being tacked on to every bill. The restaurant was fully packed and very busy. The fuzzy explanation on the bottom of the menu is vague and shady. Who exactly is getting this money and how is it being used? It’s not the servers. And the restaurant isn’t struggling for business nor has it been in well over a year. The prices are reflective of the going rate with the raised cost of inflation so…It really left a bad taste with us and considering the other excellent restaurants literally surrounding them with the same views we’ll be going somewhere else until they remove that fee.

   Brunch was unlabeled Costco type food, canned ham, generic tilapia, overcooked bacon and only scramblem eggs. Surprised that a place called Farmers, Fishers and Bakers didn't have good pastries, fruits, etc.

    Sat outside. Service is always not so good. Inconsistent. Server keeps coming and asking if things are good but it’s disconnected bc it was done a couple of times without bringing the ordered drinks, or just water over half hour after we sat down. (Other table seated 15min after us got their water first.) Can tell server is separate fr bar and kitchen, but the server should not just come and ask if we are good without looking at what’s gone on. At some point, it is disturbance without any cause or benefit!

    It was a delicious breakfast although the waffle machine was messing up so the manager kindly offered to reduce the cost of 1 of our meals Good service & nice river view

    I frequent this restaurant and today happen to be one of my not so good experiences. My soup and salad never came out in a timely fashion I had to request for for a second time although the manager did not charge me for it, it wasn’t fixed properly. My main course did not have the crab included. Not used to this kind of service at this restaurant.

    Excellent dinner with great recommendations by our waiter. We enjoyed our appetizers cauliflower hummus and skillet cornbread. For dinner we had chicken and waffles, scallops with risotto and catfish jambalaya. Everything was great. We will be back!

    We had the Brunch on Memorial Day. Everything was outstanding! The server was top notch!! He was funny, spent time explaining the Brunch details, and very attentive to the needs of the table. He checked in often and spent time in conversation with us. The food was outstanding with so many options to choose from! It was very busy, as it was the holiday weekend, and the only negative was that at times the food was empty in the buffet line and the pizza they walk around was not around until after we were finished, but in the end, we ate more than we should have and everything we tried was excellent!!! We will go back and in fact said this would be our new 'go to' place to bring our out of town guest. Perfect place for Friends and family to hang out for good food, good drinks, and good DC vibe! We absolutely loved it.

    The food quality and service of the weekend brunch buffet wend straight downhill. The selection of the food was not great, for meat there were only ham and fried chicken. For seafood, there were only salmon and another kind of fish. Salmon kept running out and not being replenished. In the past , there were berries for the fruit and yogurt, but now only grapes and pineapples. The plates were super wet, there was even water on it when the servers brought them out from the kitchen. You should have dried them!!!

    The food was mostly good. The meat portion of the dish was fine ( fried chicken and blackened catfish) but the sides were not warm enough.

    The most overrated restaurant in DC. Food was mid, cole slaw wasn’t even cole slaw (missing 3 of the key ingredients in it) and service was slow and took us 20 minutes to be seated at our table with a reservation

    Went for brunch, got there an hour before it was to end. Waited for 20 minutes to get seated even though we had reservations, the food was picked over. Curious what it would be like in the beginning of brunch but not dying to go back.

    Made later in day reservations on holiday weekend which was not a good choice on my part. Lines for the buffet but the staff did their best to keep up. They did bring request to the table when asked for a buffet item. The efforts made by the staff and management are very commendable. Will be back agaolun though.

    Chaotic experience. We were a few minutes early for our reservation. The host stand was understaffed (1 person) which created a bottle neck at the revolving door. It took us 12 minutes to be seated and then an additional 10 for our server to come by for drink orders and to tell us about the buffet. The cocktail was undrinkable and sat untouched. It was not comped nor did I ask for it to be since I could tell it would take even longer. We never were offered the passed/“dim sum” items. Our table was bumped numerous times by both servers and patrons because the large party behind us had no clear access to the buffet and had to step over a fire pit to do so. Overall, DO NOT RECOMMEND.

    Sunday brunch selection of food was outstanding on the menu but unfortunately both times I went to the buffet, most of the items I wanted were empty. The manager did bring to my table an Egg Benedict but never was able to try the bacon, ham or beef. Very disappointing with the price when most items were not available. Highly recommend the artichoke crab dip!

    Best to avoid during anywhere near peak hours. We were seated 20 minutes after our reservation time. It took another 40 minutes to get our drinks and then another 15 for starters. Entrees then took another 30 minutes. The food was uniformly room temperature by the time it arrived. The server was friendly and helpful but clearly overworked. And all of this was 9-11 pm, so we were one of the few tables still being served but still had significant problems. Notably, most other tables around us were upset as well, including a few who walked out before their food arrived because they’d waited so long — doesn’t make for a fun atmosphere.

    Our main server was sweet but my steak was drastically over cooked and my partner’s entree was delivered to the wrong table. It took too long for the replacement to come out, so we ended up having to tell the kitchen we didn’t want it anymore, only to be met with attitude by a separate member of the staff. We were asked two more times by two separate staff members why we didn’t want the entree anymore, which made us uncomfortable. There was never an offer made to makeup for this mishap, so we felt confused as to why we were being asked multiple times what happened. Very meh food in a busy area — I wouldn’t eat there again and would not recommend.

    The food and location were brilliant. The only reason I knocked a point off was that we waited more than an hour for our reservation. It was Memorial Weekend so kind of understandable. The Maitre D gave us drinks & an appetiser on the house. The food was delicious, the garlic knots were heavenly, how something that simple can be so yummy.

    After checking in for our 1pm reservation, I had to wait outside for nearly 10 minutes, leaning on my cane, before being seated. Our party included 2 elderly people with mobility issues. We were seated at an outdoor table with no shade from the hot sun and then told that a brunch buffet was our only option — no option to order off a menu, and that the restaurant could provide no assistance in obtaining food from the buffet for the disabled individuals. The sole able bodied member of our party did his best to try to plate and schlep food for 3 people, but none of us enjoyed our dining experience. I do not recommend this restaurant for anyone with mobility issues.

    The server was horrible with no gratitude. She did not know how to serve or respect the customer. My 12 yrs old kid even felt the ignorance from the server.
