We have been working together to do everything we can to ensure we do our part to support and feed our community and our team. We are currently serving our scratch-made food and drink in our dining room and on our patio. We also have breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and weekday happy hour. If you would prefer to stay at home, we have To Go and delivery everyday. Our hot ready-to-eat favorites are available To Go for breakfast, lunch & dinner, as well as our At Home special seasonal menus, which are started in our kitchens and ready to be finished in yours. We have developed multi-layered systems to provide you with great food, drink, and hospitality and are continuing to adapt our operations to keep all of us as safe as possible. This is one of my favorite places for casual dining. However today’s service was a notch above bad. And I witnessed another customer who was over and fed up with the service today too. Hopefully this is not common.

Before we came to DC, I read somewhere that this was “the spot” to have breakfast. If that’s the case the bar must be set really low.
We were seated promptly for our reservation, that and the coffee were the highlights of our breakfast. We waited almost an hour to get our food, nothing fancy just basic bacon and eggs. We were told there was a mixup in the kitchen and our original food was sent to the wrong table. For that to have happened 2 other people would have had to have ordered the exact same breakfast we did.
When our order finally came, it was luke warm at best, bacon was greasy, food generally bland. We try to be very understanding at restaurants given the current circumstances, but this was beyond reasonable. The manager did comp the food, but still charged us for our coffee. All in all, would not go back to this restaurant.

Really enjoyed everything food wise, but we waited about 40 minutes for our food, saw multiple other tables get theirs and just had to wait. It was frustrating because we had somewhere to be and although I’m appreciative of the manager coming out and letting us know the food would be comped there wasn’t an explanation as to why it happened. I hope service is better for others because the food really is good and makes me want to go again.

Had a reservation. Still had to wait 30 mins. Guess they overbooked. Other than that, experience was nice. Food was great as usual. Strawberry ginger margaritas are pretty and tasty.

This place is a standby for great food and service. We waited close to 15 minutes after our reservation to be seated, and service was a little slow. All the servers and staff seemed a bit overstretched for weekend service, which is unusual for them. Food was great, one steak came out overcooked but the server quickly recognized and made it right. Not our best experience here but will certainly return again.

The outdoor patio, while a nice option, is not a pleasant setting. Furniture feels industrial and cheap, very little ambiance especially if you are eating on the restaurant side of it.

went for Sunday brunch. it was a weird experience. like there's no pandemic. there was a self-serve buffet. people were wearing masks - but the waiter said customers were supposed to use the gloves provided when going thru the line - but there were no gloves. I had to ask for them (they looked perplexed at my question) and they had to find some. and then 4 people at our table ordered a bubbly fruit drink, which was served in a big community bowl that people at the table were just supposed to use straws to drink out of. just not much protocol in place and it was surprising. the food was okay, not the best or worst. but in this current environment, not sure I'd go back. I've seen most other restaurants handle it much better.

We arrived 15 mins early for our 11:30am Sunday brunch reservation. I had been here before w/friends Feb 19 & the experience was fantastic from the service, to the fresh food plates brought to the table, the yummy brunch selection and organization, & great coffee. Unfortunately, it looks like COVID has really done a number on this place. I asked to be seated by a booth at the window since it was my husband’s birthday and his first time here so that he could enjoy the view of the Potomac river & pretty fountain. We were told that because other larger parties were coming that wouldn’t be possible. I pointed out that there were several Caucasian couples sitting in booths (we are Muslim & I wear a headscarf). My POC seater said she would go back and ask but she was “just a seater and I can’t make these decisions.” When she returned after talking to the other POC seater, she apologetically said she wasn’t able to seat us at a both. I was very put off by that but I tried to ignore it. Our server was a sweet woman but there seemed to be a shortage of servers and while she really tried to be attentive to us initially, she had so many tables to cover that we didn’t get much service from her while we were there. The brunch buffet was messy, sloppy and the food was like an afterthought and not tasty at all. The employees restocking food were careless & disconnected as if that was the last place they wanted to be. The “fresh” plates brought to the table were limp, tasteless sushi, biscuits and cinnamon rolls that hadn’t risen enough and were hard/too sweet, and the shrimp was over fried. We are coffee drinkers but the coffee was bitter and tasted worse as it cooled down. We tried a latte and that was also bitter. I’m offended that we were racially profiled by other POCs and didn’t get a booth while Caucasian couples were already seated at booths & *continued* to be seated at booths while we sat at a small table. Not worth the $101 spent - SAVE YOUR MONEY and go ELSEWHERE!!!!

It was really loud in the restaurant and our waiter rarely came around to us to bring us table items of clear plates and refresh drinks. Most of the food items were mediocre so if you prefer quality over quantity like me you will pass on this place.

Great food, prices very reasonable. Had a 730 reservation, checked in at 720, wasn't seated until nearly 8. Once we were seated, they didn't seem to have assigned us a waiter (one person took our drink order, another our food, and she was clearly disinterested). Would still recommend based on the location, food, and price.

Food is very quality amazing Tuna tartar chicken very tender and juicy. good it seems to be very busy all the time so they don’t have enough servers even though our waitress was great it was hard to chase her down since she had way to many tables. Overall recommend great food just not enough service.

Even we had a reservation, the host was sitting people without reservation. We had to wait for more than 30 minutes and they gave us the worst table.
