Met a girlfriend for lunch — beautiful day, able to sit outside. Specialty drinks were unique lots of food choices from vegan to healthy to southern comfort food (aka fried)!
Really enjoyed our delicious breakfast...loved the decor and ambiance!
Another great experience at FFB. I think the best out of the 3 restaurants. Very good food, wife’s pasta dish little skimpy but other dishes plentiful. Great waiter and service. Only there few months, nice guy, attentive, which is harder serving outside. Seated few minutes after 7pm reservation which to me is on time which was appreciated. Crowded sunday night. Would def return.
This restaurant was slammed when we got there but everyone was very upbeat and meant well. Service was slow but I think that is everywhere right now. Sitting outside on such a beautiful day was priceless. Great venue.
Nice menu and waiter but too long of a wait for drinks and food.
Oh no! I am very sorry for the disappointing outcome to your visit this time. I would love the chance to touch base and hopefully turn this around! Please email me: Hospitality@frg.farm with a copy of your review, date dined & location. Thank you and we appreciate you alerting us to this. -Najjah
Average food. Sitting outside has a view but the service is not very attentive.
Thank you for your review and I am very sorry the service missed the mark this time. I'd appreciate the chance to follow up and turn around the poor impression we left you with. Please email me: Hospitality@FRG.Farm with a copy of your review, date dined & location. -Amber
The farm to table concept is the strong point along with the quality of ingredients and the portion sizes for the price. The service is also top notch and adds to the lasting legacy of the Farmers Restaurant Group.
Thank you for dining with us! -Najjah :)
Food quality was not consistent and not clean. Seafood was not clean well. They were gritty. The pastas we not cooked well and too bland in flavors. Service was hard to get a hold of. Never was checked on.

The food was delicious. The area where it is at was very nice. I will come back again.
We went on Saturday midday and had the brunch buffet. The buffet itself leaves little to be desired. The hot food was generally dried out (especially, the eggs benedict, fried chicken, French toast) and/or didn't have a lot of flavor. My husband had some of the buffet's scrambled eggs and did not feel well shortly after leaving the restaurant. On a positive note, our server was very nice and was on top of our coffee and drinks. Overall, we were underwhelmed by it and certainly did not think it was worth $30/person.

Food was good. I would visit again. The service was a bit lacking due to lack of staff. Staff was friendly but overwhelmed.

Great food, services issues. It appears they had a new system so we kept waiting for drink refills, etc.
Had breakfast outside on the patio. Very popular so book ahead. Great local coffee. Can't go wrong with standard breakfast. Great bacon, proper hashbrowns, superb biscuit.
Wonderful waitress; great food, fun atmosphere.
Great outdoor eating and atmosphere
Thank you for dining with us! -Najjah :)
Our waiter was inexperienced, one of the people in our party can not eat tomatoes or tomato products. When we asked him what romesco sauce was, he checked with the kitchen and told us it had nuts but no tomato. WRONG. Finally we spoke to the manager and avoided a medical situation. The restaurant was extremely loud. No fine dining here. Something needs to be done to reduce the noise level. The food was alright but nothing to write home about.
Because of the COVID environment, we chose to be outside with a party of 8. The unfortunate part was the overhead protection at the patio was a complete disaster. Our entire group was baked under 85 to 90 degree weather. Ice melted quickly in our drinks and salads warmed up pretty well...not to mention the overall heat. Generally, we enjoy the Founding Farmers family and will still recommend. But until they add more shade over their patio area, we will not go to the Georgetown locale.
Thank you for your review and sharing these details with our team. I am so sorry your visit started off on the wrong foot, and nothing about our service. This said, I'd love to connect and find a way to make this right! Please email me: Hospitality@frg.farm with a copy of your review, date dined & location. -Najjah
Enjoyed ourselves! The staff was knowledgeable and though buffet, nice to have everyone's moths covered. The food was good, the selection was good... perfect for a family or friend gathering.
Thank you so much! -Najjah :)
I'd been to Farmers Fishers Bakers around 7 years ago, and had really enjoyed it but didn't remember many specifics. When I got the chance to bring my partner and their father, I jumped at it.
We did the weekend brunch buffet.
We got there at open after reserving a table outside. The outdoor tables were clean and in the shade, right next to the beautiful fountain. Our server came out almost right away and asked us for our drinks and kitchen orders.
Everything else was superb, amazing, favorite brunch place.
The food inside was incredible, there was plenty of each dish to go around, and we managed to make it to 2 or 3 refills.
If I could change anything, it would be on the sweet end of the offerings. The ice tea, the donuts, the grapefruit, all of it was overpoweringly sweet, too sweet even for my American palate and sweet tooth. I ended up watering down the tea as I drank and even when it was 25% tea 75% water it was still very sweet.
Thank you so much! -Najjah :)
Farmers Fishers Bakers or how we called it FFB, is our must go place when family and friends are visiting DC! The food is GREAT, drinks are FANTASTIC and the ambience is AMAZING. I will recommend the restaurant to everyone who is looking for a casual American cuisine. The restaurant is located right by the emblematic Georgetown Waterfront and overlooking at the historic Kennedy Center. Just stopped by and ask your server to bring you the menu and you will not regret-it! With over 150 items on the menu, Farmers Fishers Bakers will not let you down, and regarding price-quality of food & drinks is absolutely amazing. Don't forget to save some space for dessert at the end, their hummingbird's cake is to die for!
Thank you so much for dining with us! We call ourselves FFB also :). -Najjah
Family visiting in from out of town and loved the food!
Great all around. Staff seamlessly handled having a separate table of teenagers with adults seated far away. Teenagers celebrating 18th birthday had an amazing experience and we are grateful to the staff. We will be back!
Thank you so much for dining with us! Look forward to seeing you again soon! -Jessica
Food was great, server was great! Just a few things to note. It’s was Saturday we had a reservation at 6:30pm. We were not late. Got seated around 6:45. (Fine because it was busy) appetizers took a long time to come out. We got the crab&artichoke dip and California roll. Both were great. Entree came out in perfect timing my husband had the shrimp scampi and I had the fishers fry combo. For dessert we got the peanut butter pie. Food was really awesome. Only thing I disliked was the noise. It was hard to hear our server and each other. Would come back, just maybe not on a weekend when it’s so busy. Was looking for a romantic date night and this was just too loud for that.
Ate outside in bustling atmosphere. Good for people watching but not relaxing dining.
