My friend and I came here for the great food and were not disappointed. We especially loved the curry and cucumber mussels and the pasta seafood dishes. Plus the service was friendly, personable and attentive. Highly recommend.

We made reservations at the last minute and all of our requests were accommodated. Excellent food, drinks and service from start to finish. Overall an excellent experience that we have come to expect from the Farmers group.

My parents came into town to visit myself and my husband, and my dad actually suggested this restaurant. He heard from a friend that it was really good. We booked a 6:15 pm reservation and arrived at 5:30. The hostess told us that they were seating people close to their reservation time but she checked us in. No worries, we didn't really expect to be seated early anyways, and we decided to stand by the Harbor and take photos. At 6:05, we headed back inside, still expecting to wait a bit longer, but we just wanted to warm up. At 6:15, I checked with the hostess, and she said there was a 30 minute wait on all reservations due to the crowd. That was fine; we understood. But by 7:00, we still weren't seated. When my mother asked the hostess about it, she said there were 4 other 6:15s who checked in before us and so we still had to wait. When we told her that we checked in at 5:30, she just looked at us confused. Either she didn't pay attention to the schedule, or the first girl didn't actually check us in. Either way, it was very annoying. Finally, just over an hour later, we were seated in a booth. The restaurant was quite cold, and we were not seated anywhere near the door. The server was wonderful, but the food was average and not at all worth the wait, especially since we had a reservation. We did not find anything special enough about the restaurant to counterbalance the bad host service, and so we more than likely will not return.

This was my 3rd time at Farmers Fishers Bakers. I absolutely love this restaurant due to the food and the overall ambiance. Food did not disappoint. My family ordered the salmon, the steak, jambalaya, and the "impossible" burger. We ate absolutely everything! The only thing a bit frustrating was the wait time. We had reservations for 4 people at 6pm.. we got there at 5pm and understood we were an hour early and asked if we can move up our reservations. They said unfortunately they couldn't and were seating people close to reservation time. That is perfectly fine. Not a big deal. My family ended up exploring Georgetown and shopping for the hour. The restaurant did check us in at 5pm and said they were going to at least check us in and let us know via text message if seat became available early. Definite perk. We returned back to the restaurant 5 minutes til 6, and did not get seated til 6:30pm. The whole place was just so busy. I was a bit disappointed just because my parents came from out of town and it was their first time there. Aside from that, they really enjoyed their food.

I had high hopes for this place but I will not be going back. Our reservation was at 530PM however we weren’t seated until 640PM, in my option this was the most egregious offense as it threw off our plans for the remainder of the evening. Next my dish was cold and needed to be sent back, the food was good once it came back but by the time I received my hot food my dining companions had finished. Finally we had a extra item added to our bill, normally not a huge deal but after everything we had to deal with it was not a good way to end the meal.

Great food is reflect in a great menu and that is what you get at Farmers Fishers Bakers. Something a little different is very welcome and they deliver. Everything was prepared well with no issues and the flavors were wonderful, interesting, and fresh. Would highly recommend.

I had a party of four, three of whom had multiple--only occasionally overlapping--allergies. While we all recognize that eating out *anywhere* always carries some chance of cross contamination, the staff here really went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe and taken care of. The food itself was absolutely phenomenal. I would absolutely recommend, and will look forward to a return trip the next time I need to be in that area again!

The allergies were--Person A: vegetarian and allergic to dairy and mushrooms; Person B: allergic to mushrooms, soy, and gluten; Person C: allergic to gluten (celiac); mildly allergic to onions. I'd recommend mentioning the allergies when making a reservation, when you check in, and with your server, but they know what they're doing here.

Great food and atmosphere. I was was a bit disappointed in the amount of time I had to wait for seating despite having reservations. I had to wait close to 40 minutes to be seated after my reservation time.

The staff was apologetic which was great. I will still this this restaurant another try in the future.

They have something for everyone... From the picky child to the sensitive stomach adult. It's a great location probably the best and it's area as it appeals to everyone. Highly recommend for the upcoming winter season as the ice skating rink will be right outside. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of food you get.

Really enjoyed the Saturday morning brunch offerings! We came early on Saturday, which is a good time to come as the restaurant really fills up later. The brunch was varied and delicious, fresh with lots of unusual offerings. Beautiful salads and a nice variety of desserts as well as delicious egg and meat dishes, pastas and special dishes like paella and soft taco bar. Baked goods were fresh, hot and delicious. Server Pau was so nice. Will come again!

This is a better version of Founding Farmers. The food was better and the location is fantastic. Only complaint - we made a 9:30pm reservation and when we arrived, we had to wait for over 20 minutes and then the only space they offered us was at a communal table with others. I had specifically indicated this was a special occasion anniversary and at the very least, if they couldn't accommodate a window table, at least a private table. I'm not sitting at a communal table on my anniversary!! Yikes! That wasn't even mentioned as something that could happen when I booked the reservation. No thanks! They were able to finally get us seated at a more private table by a window but we had to wait over 45 minutes. I think they have some kinks in their system or need to learn how to get people to leave when they've overstayed their time!!

Waited a short 10 min for our 6:30pm reservation. Seated next to the patio exit, which was not ideal as even with curtains to try and block the very cold evening (in the low 30's), it was a bit too cold and breezy. However, the food was very good: tomato and clam chowder soup, Cedar Plank Salmon, with the Cracklin' Pork Shank being outstanding. Shared chocolate cake was more than enough for 2 and also good. Service was almost excellent.

We went last Friday and had 12:45 Open Table reservation. We waited 30 minutes to be seated, with no real explanation other than none of the dozens of people in line wanted to sit outside. Probably because it was 37 degrees out. Idiocy!
Once we were seated, we were told that they were only offering your weekend brunch.....during lunch on a Friday. The hostess should have told us that; we would have NEVER waited the 30 minutes. After noting this to the manager, he told us, "Well, we've been advertising it for 2 weeks." Really!?!?! Where would we have seen an advertisement for this? We work close by and come here for lunch weekly. Never saw any sign or other promotion indicating that. Also, is that your best customer service? To argue with a customer?
He soon made things right, though, and made the two (simple) salads we wanted, which were not offered on the buffet. We'll come back (simply because it's convenient) but this was a total debacle and #epicfail.

Farmers Fishers Bakers is a good choice for brunch, business meals, and/or large parties. I made a reservation for 2 for the occasion of a birthday dinner and found that we had a hard time hearing each other. A group of friends/coworkers seems to be a better match than a date night.

This place has become a hands-down favorite for brunch! The funky eclectic decor only compliments the beautiful variety of patrons, waitstaff, and the generally positive vibe of the entire place. The food variety crosses many cultural categories and is always delicious. Good for vegans and meat-eaters and everybody in between. The only downfall is that I always leave wanting to take a long nap!

My son and I came for the brunch in celebration of my birthday. I was disappointed in the crowded and uncomfortable conditions regarding the table with the various plates. The food selection was less than I expected; the eggs were runny and had items pre-mixed with no other options; the french toast was cold with cold toppings; the meatballs were always empty; nothing was labeled so I didn't know what the items were and no one was there to answer questions. Very disappointed considering I spent over $70, and certainly didn't get my money's worth on this trip. Not sure if I'll be back, as I could have had a really nice meal elsewhere for that price!

I wish I could review the food, etc., but when we arrived at 6:05 for our 6:00pm reservation, we were told that the restaurant was "running a bit behind" on its reservations and could not estimate when we would be seated. They had not yet seated the 5:30 reservations at that time (and still had not seated the 5:30 reservations by the time I was done talking with the manager at about 6:20). The manager was quite nice and apologetic about the situation; it sounded like a combination of people lingering at tables and being unable to use the patio due to rain (though planning on the patio being available in November does not seem like a good assumption). But ultimately it seems like the restaurant took too many reservations and was essentially overbooked. The manager has invited us back and hopefully I will have the opportunity to update this review. But beware of reservation overbooking!
