Farmers Fishers Bakers Ratings and Reviews
This was our third visit to FFB. We keep coming back because of the service, the hot crab dip, the mussels, and everything else we’ve ever ordered! Had the scallops risotto- fabulous. Even the fried fish sliders were fantastic. Can’t wait for our fourth visit. Manager Logan is top notch as is our favorite server Chris.
FFB was my first DC Brunch experience and I had been dreaming of the buffet since then, so I finally got some friends together to experience it (their first time). I was so proud to be the one to show them their new favorite brunch buffet! French toast, tacos, omelets, salads, sushi, cinnamon rolls..there was something for everyone, and we all agreed FFB does the breakfast/lunch balance just right! Plus the service is always kind, patient, and attentive. If you're looking for a brunch buffet, this should be it!
I love the brunch....it's my absolute favorite in DC! Especially the tiki punch bowl! I would recommend it to locals and folks coming from out of town. The atmosphere is amazing and the food is outstanding. As long as the building is standing, I'll be coming for brunch!!!!
There truly is something for everyone here. Great location ice rink view. Wait staff was very friendly. Chris was awesome from taking back a drink that wasn’t to my liking ( my taste buds not a bad drink) to a birthday dessert we really enjoyed our experience e
We were seated next to a loud group of people. We could not hear ourselves, so we asked to move. The waiter assisted us and got us a new table. He was nice and accommodating, although we had a new waitress. Good customer service! My guests were pleased with food and service.
This was a wonderful experience. The food and drinks were very fresh and delicious but the service was exceptional. Our server was training a new person so we were supported by two! The servers were knowledgable and able to provide suggestions (as the menu was so extensive, we were having a hard time deciding). Thank you for the great experience.
I have been to this restaurant many times in the past and love it! But until Sunday I had never been to the brunch. It was extremely disappointing. Both my guest and I felt sick afterwards, the food and buffet set-up were below par. I will never return for brunch.
Previously I have had stellar brunch experiences here. I have always recommended it to my friends. But over my last two visits (in October and November), I couldn't help but notice a big drop in the overall service and standard of drinks served. I have been really disappointed both times.
Get your cake and eat it too. Quality and quantity (if here for brunch) That's what Farmers, Fishers, Baker's give you. The Honeypot Chicken is delicious, as is their entire bakery menu. My only gripe would be the price. For a buffet, I'd like to see a traditional carving bar and a true MTO eggs station. Wanted an omelette and was told something about only whole eggs and egg whites were being cooked? I chose some premade scrambled eggs as an alternative. They were flavorful, but on the cold side.
I will continue to visit Farmer's Fisher's Baker's in the future as well as recommend it to others.
Lastly, I fully recommend a reservation during peak times.
Completely enjoyed Sunday Brunch buffett. Menu options were widely varied and numerous with each item very good. We weren't rushed and had time to sample and enjoy. The only reservation we could get for Sunday brunch at 8:45 a.m. and the place was full by 9:30. Lots of excellent veggies and salads. Enjoyed the eggs and tacos. We never did get around to the special items that you could order but the plates of fried shrimp were ordered by many of the tables around us - looked really good! The Buffet was more than enough but we plan to go back to try the rest of the menu. Would be wonderful outdoor venue when the weather is warm, too! No complaints, whatsoever!
This place was amazing! Great food and the champagne bowl was fantastic! Recommend this place to anyone. Kids were even eating here (because kids really only eat MSC and cheese lol) anway, great vibes at this place! The only thing I would have to say is that we went here too early meaning no alcohol served before 1000. Other than that everything met our expectations!
Overall, I love FFB, however almost every time I come here I have to wait. Apparently reservations don't mean much at Farmers Group restaurants. I have probably been here 15-20 times and would estimate that 60% of the time I am not seated at the time of my reservation. Note to management - you need to manage walk-ins against reservations better.
