Took about 25 min to seat us past our reservation but was otherwise great
Service was great. Food was good also. Had the Happy Belly shared plate, which was very tasty. I had the Honey Chicken dish. I found the chicken so so, but I liked the grits and tomatoes. My mom also enjoyed her Brussel Sprout Salad.
They food last time was not good :)
The guy who was the host was very helpful
I apreciate that
First time there and I was throughly impressed with the food and service. Nice selection of drinks and our server (Andres) was very helpful. I had the shrimp scampi and it didn’t disappoint.
Great food, service and atmosphere!
First time and found to be enjoyable. Good food and our waiter was great. Would definitely go back.
Had coconUT curry mussels. They were ok. Not very flavorable. Hot Crab dip was w/O much crab.
Kale salad needed more dressing and chicken was over cooked.
Great place, great food, have been eating there about 4 times. Price is moderate but drinks priced too high, avg.$4 each and we are talking about lemonade and reg tea.
The food was mediocre at best - my blue cheese burger was not medium rare as requested and the blue cheese was sparse and unevenly distributed. My smash cocktail had way too much ginger. The food did not come out at the same time.
However, the waiter was very nice, the front desk seated our party of 10 not 8, and we weren't rushed off despite having some kids that got loud. So all in - it worked out well.
Nice restaurant but the brunch buffet food wasn’t the greatest.
The best brunch in the DC area. Bring your appetite.
Staff knew we were celebrating special occasion. Took over one hour to get entrees-- after sharing concern with manager. Comped birthday cake brought out too late to eat. Had to be boxed to go. General sense staff didn't care. Lastly, one of two dinners served cold. Pretty bad experience given the night.
Came here with my husband to meet up with his his aunt & Uncle when we were visiting DC for a quick weekend trip. Luckily I made a reservation because it was jam packed even on a Sunday afternoon/evening. The food was quite good, but our service could have been better. The server wasn’t very attentive or intuitive. The restaurant was so loud it was hard to hear one another at the table; since the purpose of our lunch was to visit and reconnect, the noise level certainly dampened that aspect, though it was a vibrant scene if you wanted to soak it all up. The menu was extensive and had an option for everyone. If we return to DC I would likely eat here again if we found ourselves in the Georgetown area.
Was very disappointed in FFB. Read mixed reviews and was hoping to be pleasantly surprised. We had a 2:45 reservation on a Sunday, so a heavy brunch crowd was to be expected. But, wow, the place was slammed and trying to get a drink at the bar was ridiculous. It appeared they were short staffed and the service bar tickets were popping out left and right. We waited a good 20 minutes for a drink. Please train your bartenders to at least acknowledge waiting customers. We didn't get eye contact for at least 15 minutes. Food was just meh. We ordered two pizzas, one meatball and one deep dish. Very tasteless, needing more flavor and seasoning. The deep dish was essentially all bread and hardly any toppings. I will definitely give it another try as there were so many other food choices. So this review is solely based on the lack of bar service and the pizzas.
Great location and atmosphere...very busy/loud. This could attributed to a table of energetic young folks close to our table though. Our server was friendly and helpful with recommendations from the menu.
Food quality was very good. I had a simple burger, while my wife had a vegan sandwich. Both were tasty. Although it was a busy day. I was disappointed though my French fries were fresh cut and the serving was full of short crunchy end pieces. I was tempted to ask for a new serving, but just picked through them.
Overall a place we will visit again. I want to try more things on the menu.
God everything on the brunch buffet was amazing! I wish I could’ve eaten more of it but I was absolutely stuffed. It was incredible.
Celebrating Valentine’s Day over the weekend.
We had a fantastic brunch here! My husband and I had been to the brunch before just the two of us and couldn’t wait to bring our family back! We brought our kids, my mother, and my in laws to the brunch this past weekend. We talked up the brunch SO much to them and it did not disappoint!!!! Absolutely wonderful service and the food is just amazing!! If we didn’t live so far away we would be back every weekend!! Can’t wait to come back!!!
Family visit to see daughter at GW.
Increased our party to 7 about 48 hours out and they were very accommodating. Wait staff were outstanding even with the crowd they were attentive and friendly/happy! Loved the food and variety ~ truly a plateful for everyone! Only slight negative was the crowd - but by the time we were ready for a second look, there was plenty of room to maneuver.
Will definitely be back.
Excellent brunch -- but much more lunch than breakfast food --, especially for those with 9 am reservations! Fun, tasty, must-do brunch if in DC for a weekend with friends.
It was amazing! Food and drinks were great! I proposed to my fiancé after dinner and she said “Yes”!
Our server, Marlo (I think was his name) was great. Please extend our thanks!
Outstanding food. Menu extensive - too hard to choose. Excellent drinks. Service very good as well.
Great place for everyday dining. Food was excellent and the menu selections offered something for everyone....
The food was amazing...but our waiter was outstanding.
The brunch buffet is nothing short of spectacular! So many tasty choices! Loved the combo of buffet AND included order items! When you can have all the breakfast staples along with tacos, sushi, pizza, dips & spreads, and fried shrimp what is not to LOVE?!? I’ve come for regular lunch before and it was excellent but the buffet is an experience you don’t want to miss.
We heard lots of recommendations from friends to come here, and they were spot on! Farmers fishers bakers was incredibly delicious and our waitress was very helpful with suggestions about the menu. We really appreciated her honest advice to help give us the best experience! The crab dip is to die for!
1. The “reservation” system leaves much to be desired.....no alert system in place and the staff is yelling out names to find people. Also, my reservation was for 12:15pm, arrived at 12:10pm only to be told all reservations were 15 mins behind. We had to wait 45mins before being seated. What was the point of making a RESERVATION!
2. The food was meh...seemed to lack a wide selection and ran out of some items rather quickly.
3. I received an email saying the restaurant prefers the use of the “Rooam” App for payment......this was untrue as the sever stated we use the traditional way to pay (no problems in doing so but don’t advertise about an app you don’t use)..
4. Service was great
5. Based on the experience, not sure if I’ll be back as other places offer a more items on their brunch menu and have a system to alert patrons when their table is ready (pager, text message etc.) step your game up Farmers Fishers Bakers.
