Our waiter was horrible. 1 st time he came to the table he brought water and told us his name said he would be back. 2nd he was at table (because I stopped him) we asked what where specials and told him I would like a glass of wine. we both had our appetizer (clam chowder) which was ok finished those, still no glass of wine. I asked again finally got me wine and our entrees arrived I had the margherita pizza it was very bland and disappointing to say the least. My daughter had a burger and she did say it was very good and enjoyed the bun. Again the waiter was not attentive at all and very slow. Considering the prices and mediocre food I doubt we will be back.
While it was lovely to sit outside on the Georgetown Waterfront, and to be able to get a guaranteed outdoor reservation, the food and the wine was sub-par. For one of our first post-COVID dining experiences, we were disappointed.

Entrees came out before appetizer. That shouldn't happen.
Love the outside seating. Bring a jacket, the water keeps it cool outdide.

Service is always very very slow especially for drinks. Many times we have had a reservation and have been sat 10 to 20 minutes after the scheduled time. The hostess always brushes it off and makes it sound like we are being impatient when we ask. The food is very good and high-quality but sometimes it is just too frustrating.

It was very good. But we prefer Founding Farmers, and booked this restaurant because Founding Farmers is closed this week.

We had a reservation for 4 at 1:00 and arrived at 12:58pm. They said they’re cleaning our table and we’d be sat within 2 minutes. 15 minutes later we checked in with them and they said they’re now cleaning 5 tables, and we’d be sat within the next 10 minutes. WE DIDN’T GET SAT UNTIL 1:48pm! If they were backed up, they needed to be honest in the beginning and let us know there would be a wait and we could have enjoyed a drink somewhere else in the meantime (or at the bar inside) instead of standing outside sweating with our masks on waiting. We then should have been offered something as an apology. The drinks also took awhile to come out when we ordered at the table. Maybe it’s because people stayed late for brunch, but that’s something you’ll have to figure out better for next time. Terrible customer service. Do not lie to your customers!

I had an issue with how the buffet was being done. I understand during this pandemic that is safer for servers to dish out the food. But it would be better if the servers took care in putting your food onto your plate. The server I had just threw all my food on my plate, piling everything on top of each other. I have a serious issue with my food touching. I told him that and even asked for a second plate and he did it again. Also, he had an attitude when I asked him for the 2nd plate and when I asked that he not pile the food on top of the other food. Our server was EXCELLENT at the table. I would just caution to inform your servers on food handling. Thank you

All they had was buffet style breakfast and was not listed on the website. During this time with COVID, should not just have buffet style Only. Only found out after ordering coffee. When we decided not to eat there with Buffet style, was charged $20 for two cups of coffee.

The atmosphere/location/weather was perfect food however was just okay!
waited for long time even make a reservation. they are understaff. getting food in brunch time in and out through the door while holding a lot of plates are such a struggle.

Four on an absolute scale, five in Covid times.
Food options are a far cry from what we remember from BC (Before COVID). Nevertheless, service is good and friendly and it remains a very good choice in NW DC.
There’s one complaint, though ... the Plaza fountain (we sat outdoors) is unnecessarily noisy. Hopefully that can be fixed for a great outdoors experience.
Guess we’ll be back before long.
Decently a DC stable. The menus has something for everyone. My favorit is the fried chicken with donut. The tented outdoor area can get a little loud and it can be hard to hear the others at your table. Also, there is generally a wait even if you've made a reservation.
I came here on a wet Friday afternoon with my wife. We made reservation previously and the wait was reasonable. After reviewing the menu we decided immediately what to eat. For a starter I had the White Wine and Garlic mussles, it came with a fresh loaf of bread and for lunch Fish, Chips and Beer which comes with a large pimento cheddar biscuit.
Beside we wanted to try the corn casserole but it was not available at that restaurant only the fresh pretzel (4 large pieces) and we were warned by the waitress that the mussles pot and the fish and chips comes with bread and we agreed to have it because we wanted to try. Yes, there was a lot of bread, which was delicious regardless and I took it back home for breakfast the next day.
Everything was delicious the two pieces of cod fish were slightly breaded, just the way I like it and fresh, it comes with a side cole slaw, the big pimento cheese biscuit (taste 1000 better than the other restaurant (RL), and a side of tartar sauce and ketchup. Oh let me not forget that the fish and chips also comes with a small glass of wheat beer.
Cesar and his trainer Andrew were lovely! Food was phenomenal, and atmosphere was on point. Highly recommend this location for happy hour during the week.
Very good customer service. We had a little mishap & manager Kendra did everything she could to make it right and waitress Michelle provided great service. Loved the NY strip with enchiladas and sweet corn cake salad. Would definitely recommend.
Very disappointed in my experience. Sat us 65 minutes late from a reservation had for weeks, and only after checking in four times. Even then, service was terribly slow, and food and drink not up to par for the price.
