DC has many choices that have great food and service. Farmers just doesn’t compete. The services is good, but the food just doesn’t make the cut. I’d look elsewhere unless your a tourist who wants to sit by the water.

Fantastic service and even better food. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a seafood type of menu along with some basics like burgers and steaks. The appetizers also were amazing and they had a large variety of them.

I have been looking forward to a meal here for months. I knew exactly what I was ordering before arriving. I specifically ordered fries - double fried - they came out single - I had to request a re-do- server said it was because they are hand cut. I said no... new batch came out clearly done right- frustrating that the server didn’t believe me the first time, and didn’t catch it. The spicy tuna roll was covered in spicy powder that ruined the roll. It was like the container spilled on the roll. The Chesapeake roll- we asked. We were told it is a California roll with leeks. It had a mayonnaise base (not aioli) and lettuce inside- and it was not a California roll at all. Sadly, it tasted like tuna salad. It was horrible. Then the Brussels salad. I have gotten this before. It is my favorite. This was all Romaine, some apples, and outside leaves of Brussels- nothing substantial- and very little blue cheese dressing. It was very disappointing. Given my server’s attitude from the fries- I let it all go. I didn’t want to be that person. She only stopped by once to refill my daughters $4.50 Arnold Palmer- while out mouth was on fire due to the tuna roll situation and there was no one else to be found to assist. Finally we ordered a chocolate strawberries for dessert- one was not ripe. At $2.50 /each I expect at least ripe strawberries. It’s just a lack of detail and overall care in ingredient quality.

Sadly I will never return to FFB. I loved the brand and this restaurant, but there seems to be a decline in food quality, service, and attention to detail. (Brunch foods cold and hard, mistakes in ordering, etc). I am bummed. I was so excited to come back here.

We made a reservation for the brunch but we got there and found out the brunch had ended. The menu doesn't describe the food very well so when the entrees came they were unacceptable. One entrée came with the wrong side. My fries were cold. The beef sandwich was supposed to be prime rib but looked like shredded beef of some kind. The sliders had stuff mixed into the burger and so it couldn't be eaten that either.

Hi Disappointed: Thank you for sharing this with us, and I am so sorry this experience missed the mark! :( I feel badly for the miscommunication surrounding our brunch times and the unacceptable entrees served. That said, I would love the chance to follow up and do my best to turn this around. I will send you a DM with my email address. -Amy

We had a wonderful dinner. Food was outstanding - especially the pimento cheddar biscuits and salmon. Server could have checked on our drink refills better. Only complaint is that the women's restroom chair rail around room needed cleaned - covered in dust.

Excellent service and social distancing. The clementine cocktail was amazing, not too sweet and perfectly alcoholic! Ask for Carlos as your server- he was attentive but not overbearing, and brought us everything we needed. We made an outdoor reservation and everything went smoothly. We had the shrimp fry and lemon herb brick chicken. Both were delicious, except for the coleslaw in the shrimp fry that was boring and tasteless. But that was the only downside!

Lay out for COVID should be looked at. Maybe put seats near the wall vs. the walk way

Been here 3 times. Once was great pre covid for dinner. The second time for breakfast was awful. We waited 15 minutes at our table with no water and without being greeted. We left and went to another restaurant. I just gave them one more try for a weekday breakfast and service still miserable. One waiter that had no personality and could care less. Had to ask the manager to get drinks and water after waiting for 10 minutes plus. Food was good so it’s a shame service isn’t. Server never checked on us once food was delivered and had to ask manager to get the check and he handled the transaction. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on the continuous service issues.

Definitely recommend this place! There are so many good options to choose from that we had the hardest time deciding. The calamari was delicious, as well as the catfish jambalaya and ribeye! However we got carrot cake, which is my favorite flavor, and it was not good at all- but they had lots of other great dessert options! Will be back!

One of my fav places! Wide variety of food and drinks, and they have always been accommodating to my friends that have dietary restrictions. Go for the mussel pots, pastas, sushi.. you can't go wrong! And they have banging espresso martinis!

Made a reservation for Sunday at four for outside seating. The weather ended up rainy so we called that morning to move to inside seating. Simple. Arrived at four and were seated inside in a booth. Plenty of spacing. Those with out food or drink at table are asked to keep masks on. Looks like people did that. Wait staff was prompt. We started with drinks and the pimento biscuits. Delicious. We ordered dinner.. pork and rib jambalaya, fish and chips, fish fry catfish and crab cake. The portions were great especially for the jambalaya which had a few pieces of ribs and good portion of pulled pork on top. The catfish and fish and chips were beautifully fried and crisp. The crab cake delicious. We enjoyed are visit and will go again.

Sat us 20 minutes after our reservation, and only after continuous questioning. People who are walk ups are typically prioritized (not the first time this has happened to us). So you are probably better off just walking in instead of making a reservation.

We enjoyed our brunch although there were too few folks working at the breakfast bar for the size of the crowd/capacity of the restaurant. Perhaps they could have had more stations instead of having everyone line up at the one spot. Our servers were very attentive and helpful...and the food was good and quite filling.

We were really looking forward to breakfast/brunch today (Sunday) but found out they only have a buffet brunch on Sat and Sunday. I asked if we could order anything else, and the server said no, they only serve the buffet on the weekends. After we finished eating the lukewarm food which was relatively bland, the server said she had a surprise and offered us Eggs Benedict. We were already full and would have ordered that to start with, but were told we could only get the buffet. Then 10 mins later, they offered cinnamon rolls and biscuits. To make matters worse, 10 mins after that, they brought us sushi and fried shrimp without asking and set it on the table telling us it came with the meal. My wife can't eat fish, but they didn't even ask. This was such a weird experience and will definitely not be coming back.

Was not worth all of the hype. Have been struggling to find reservations on the weekend for nothing. When greeted we were told “all of our items on the menu are made from scratch in our kitchen—even our soda.” This is not true.

Do not order any of the tacos unless you want to eat with a fork and knife. They don’t stand a chance holding a small portion of food. Ordered the blue cheese bacon cheeseburger cooked medium. It was well done.

The restaurant has a great location. If you’re looking for a spot in the area find somewhere else.
