Farmers Fishers Bakers
A huge fan of FFB. Always a delight
Our server was exceptional. He greeted us within a few minutes. He took our order, new the menu and explained it very well. Our food service was fast and we did not have to wait. Our server checked on us continuously. Along with other waiters to check in on us.
Hi ElizabethP: We really appreciate your wonderful review! Thank you and we hope to have you back for another great time soon. :) -Amy
Location is great and the food was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and the drink menu. Overall a great experience with great food.
The food was fresh and delicious! Our server was very informative and attentive! Great dining experience!
I used to love this restaurant for catching up with friends from out of town. The location and views are perfect however in the past two months both visits have been super disappointing. You don’t get what you used to. The table side guacamole was hugely disappointing and the pretzels were so salty. Overall, I don’t plan on returning.
Hi Culinarysweetheart2: I am so sorry to read that the quality of your experiences with us has somewhat diminished, and overall you do not plan on returning. :( I would love the chance to follow up and will send you a PM with my email address. -Amy
Perfection!! Thank you!!!
A lot of caved in sitting spaces that should be removed. We were seated at one and requested to move to a table due to poor lighting and small amount of space. Food was good for the most part. The beef in particular was very good. The fried chicken, not so much. The fried chicken tasted like it was used in the same grease as the fish.
Brunch was fantastic as always. A little expensive but its all you can eat and its truly incredible.
I was a disappointed in the slow table service. Ordered a drink that took literally 30 min to arrive. Cancelled it. The brunch food is great but seemed like they were under staffed or something
The weekend brunch has definitely gone downhill since the last time I went there. They were out of many things, the fried chicken and meatballs were both over cooked (the sauce for the meatballs was excellent, but the balls themselves were like golf balls). They were out of guacamole and we had to stand in line for over 12 minutes to see it refilled.
The tacos were good and the green salsa was particularly excellent. Service was friendly, but our water and ice teas were never refilled. We were between two large parties who got way more attention.
In short, I don’t really recommend their brunch anymore unless drinking is the point.
The brunch here is incredible! There are so many food options and well worth the cost. Be sure to try the carmelized grapefruit!
This place never disappoints. The food is amazing and the service is consistently attentive. The Sunday Brunch is a family favorite!
Hi MikeY: Thank you for sharing your awesome 5-STAR review with us! We appreciate it SO much and already look forward to having you & your family back for a future visit soon. -Amy
The hostess was quite a sour puss - no smile and acted like we were wasting her time. The brunch was a buffet and pretty decent. The service for water, tea etc. seemed optional. For 4 people the bill was over $140 which seemed steep for the above reasons.
Very helpful service, and not a long wait (we had reservations). Very loud (Sat night). I had shrimp scampi- rather chewy shrimp and very salty sauce. Also rather pricey!
Dessert and appetizer were by far the favorite! We ordered the crab and artichoke dip and wow - it was amazing! We finished our meal off with the devil’s food cake and splurged with an extra side of coffee ice cream (HIGHLY recommend this if you’re an ice cream fan!)
Entrees were solid - nothing to rave about but something on the menu for everyone. Service was a bit faster than usual which was a pleasant surprise. Always happy with beer and wine selection here. Overall, awesome dinner date!
Choices for everyone's food preference and great service. Excellent meal and wonderful fun location.
This is by far our favourite restaurant in Georgetown.
The menu is varied and executed well. The servers are helpful and friendly, even at busy times.
The weekend brunch, if you can get a table, is well worth a trip.
I did receive a message stating I did not make my reservation time; when in fact i did.
The brunch buffet was endless, and was worth the price!
My mother and I went for the Saturday morning brunch. The food and staff are exceptional! If you are going to be in the area I would definitely recommend making a stop here, you won’t regret it!
great food. not too long wait for table even though looks busy.great staff
Farmers, Fishers, Bakers is always a reliable choice for a good dinner without breaking the bank. The service is always polite and quick, and their food and drinks are always tasty.
Not worth the money
Good food, pricey drinks, server forgot about us and drinks went empty. But I’d still go back
It was my second time and food is not a disappointment! :)
I loved It! I have been waiting to go for years.... and it did not dissappoint. Our mussel pot was awesome as was my scallops! I want to come back because the menu was full of food I wanted to try. I do prefer a more quaint, quiet environment for such a special meal, but loved it none the less.
This was a great place to eat. The food was delicious, atmosphere was pleasant, decor interesting, server (Ty) was absolutely delightful, also professional and knowledgeable. FFB was a perfect place to celebrate my birthday with family. The menu was varied and offered something for everyone in our group. Our food arrived within a reasonable time even though the restaurant was full.
Was delivered (and consumed) a dinner selection that contained gluten after specifically asking the waiter to confirm if the dish was glute-free (due to celiac disease). This was not a cross contact issue but an ingredient (likely the sauce) that contained gluten.
Hi MikeC: Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I am super sorry to read that there was a reaction to a dish that might not have been 100% GF- when specified that it was GF by our staff when ordered. That said, I would love to look into this with both our Management & Culinary Team, and will send you a PM with my email address. -Amy
NFU Fly in
We waited ages for the server to acknowledge us, and then when she did, we waited ages for our menus, another unnecessary time lapse between our order being taken. Being foreign, I was unsure what a 'biscuit' was and when I asked, I got a 'smart' response which I didn't appreciate. Ordered a Pina Colada which didn't have much taste. Just an overall mediocre experience.
Hi Roxxanne: Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry to read that the service was incredibly slow paced, inconsiderate and also the Pina Colada ordered left something to be desired. :( This said, I would love the opportunity to touch base and will send you a PM with my email address. -Amy
We still had a 30 minute wait to be seated even though we had a reservation. But the over All experience was fine.
It took about 20mins to get seated for Sunday brunch after we had arrived on time. Otherwise a wonderful exerience with great food, excellent service.
Very fun for a crowd. Good food, service. We'll be back!
Buffet option only. Lots of food though. Waited a long time for coffee.
I have visited this restaurant several occasions for brunch. Unfortunately, with its growing popularity it has gotten progressively worse. This will be my last visit.
Upon being seated, we (there were 5 people in my party) sat for at least 15 minutes before a waiter came over. It got to a point, where we had to stop a waiter to request someone. Eventually, that young lady became our waiter.
I had visited the restaurant about 3 months ago for brunch but forgot that you now must request the biscuits etc. The waiter didn’t bring it up, so we were half way through our meal before receiving any of the breads.
As far as the pass arounds are concerned, it was interesting to watch several servers look at our table and walk away without offering the item they were serving. Not sure what that was about. But, it came across as rude.
The chili was salty, the chicken dry, the popcorn bland and chewy. Items were not replaced quickly.
I will start looking for a new brunch place for visiting guest.
Our brunch was absolutely delicious, but I wish our server had been a tad more attentive -- it took forever to get our check after we had requested it several times. Additionally, the bathrooms were a bit smelly which was frustrating.
Love the Sunday brunch for friends and family get together. Tiki drinks just add the best element of fun.
Service was very slow. We barely saw our waitress. She never came back to check on us or to refill drinks. We had to get someone from the front desk to get our check.
I've eaten at this restaurant and the other related area "farmer" brand, service has always been excellent. Not sure how this happened or is permitted to continue.
Restaurant did not provide a table big enough for the party size booked through OpenTable and moving our party to a suitable table seemed more complicated than it should have been. As a result we spent nearly an hour at the restaurant before receiving a first round of drinks (and had to chase them), let alone placing a food order. Once we finally moved, our second server seemed more proactive but unfortunately one of our meals needed sending back (steak inedible) and another arrived with the wrong side order (didn't even raise this as it was becoming embarrassing). The restaurant were good enough to present a cake (we had brought to the restaurant) after the meal for the birthday we were celebrating.
This was my second poor experience at a Founding Farmers group restaurant (the location at Tysons had previously served me a chicken sandwich with no warning that it contained peanuts in the coleslaw - minimalistic menus - narrowly avoiding a very serious allergic reaction) so I am inclined not to try a third time.
