Father day was made special during this brunch date with my dad! He absolutely loved it!
Reservations was easy and best option to do
Came here for brunch. Made reservation for 9am and we got to the restaurant at 8:56am and there were people sitting down already. They sat us down immediately and the waitress explained everything to us. The buffet had a great deal of variety both breakfast and lunch items. The French toast is to die for, the artichoke and crab dip is delicious, the guacamole is amazing very fresh you can taste the lime and cilantro. You get unlimited coffee and you get cream or milk. The eggs were also pretty good and they were cooking them fresh. Overall good service and great food.
Great drinks. Great food. Don’t order too much portions are large. Loved it.

My girlfriend ordered the Cioppino and asked if it was served over pasta. She was told no, but she could have it served over angel hair pasta. When we received the bill, she was charged $6.50 for a very small amount of pasta that was added to her stew. Have always enjoyed the food here, but this time it was not up to par and neither was the value.
We had a wide range of items and everything was excellent. We had a great dinner.
Excellent evening! The service was great - starting with the hostess Greta to our server. Food was fabulous. Will definitely return when back in Georgetown.
Great food and responsive wait staff. Always packed which is a good sign but noise level can be a conversation challenge.
We had a birthday lunch together with the family. Everything was great.
Overall experience was fine, except for a worm being found in my dates catfish.

Restaurants based on recommendations from friends. This was the only restaurant that was a huge disappointment. The food was terrible. The fish and chips was oily and honestly just inedible. The burger was ok. The jambalaya was ok. The bill was larger than the other higher end restaurants we went to. This was not for us.
The food was absolutely delicious, service was great and friendly, and the ambiance was beautiful!

Great place with delicious food and outstanding service
I dined on my own and waited nearly an hour for my food to be served. When it did, the steak was good but the rest of the plate was cold. In fairness they offered to change it or give me something else, but i declined and they kindly didn't charge.

Put it in the “view restaurant” category. Small portions, higher prices, ok service. Pretty location and view. The sister restaurant Founding Farmers is the clear winner.

We checked in before our reservation and had to check in again about 20 minutes later because they had forgotten about us. They seemed understaffed because it took forever to see our server, orders taken, drinks, food all delayed, but he was very nice. I ordered prime rib and it was overcooked so I sent it back, that also took forever remaking the meal so I had to get my meal to go. They did comp my meal which was very nice and appreciated. Hopefully the restaurant was just having an off night.
Although we have reserved a table we had to wait 20 minutes to get one. The noise level in this restaurant is very high but the interior is nice. The food was good, though my fish was served undercooked but they compensated me for this.

Great vibe on a Saturday night! I ordered the fish fry combo and it was very filling- good order if you like fried seafood!

We had a pretty disappointing experience at Farmers Fishers and Bakers. Initially, we had to wait about 15-20 minutes after our reservation to be sat at a table. Further, our waitress was very unpleasant. She barely made eye contact with anyone at the table and seemed put-out to be working that evening. After the food came, she hastily checked-in with us and left the table so quickly that we didn't get a chance to request additional drinks. When we were able to catch her long enough to order another round of drinks, they took so long that we ended up cancelling the order. I understand that it was a busy evening and that the bar can get backed up, but this is a large establishment that ought to be used to handling high-volume nights. With all the great restaurant options in DC, I would not recommend dining here.

Seemed like reservations meant nothing. Got there on time and still had to wait 30 mins. Drink service was slow and some of the food came out cold due to the volume of people to staff ratio I think.

Horrible service. Food was bland. Wouldn’t go back.
We had a reservation but still had to wait 25 min. Then the service was slow, forgetful. The food was good though.
Poor service and bad food. The server brought me the wrong dish and didn’t even offer to bring the right one or take it off the bill. Then she forgot my husband’s beer until we asked for it. My steak wasn’t cooked medium, it was burnt and over seasoned. Definitely not worth the money!!!!! Drinks way over priced!! ☹️
The food was good at the time but I got sick from the food and it lasted a day and 1/2!
Great time as always, food was delicious. Service was great even though i was running 30 mins late for my reservation they were still able to seat my friends who were already there.
My friend got her drink a good 15 minutes before mine finally came. It took about 45 minutes for our food to arrive. I had soup and salad, my friend got a pizza. Way too long to wait for such simple dishes! Waiter never stopped by to check on us during this time. It's too bad because I really liked my food but was nearly falling asleep by the time it arrived.
Just very mediocre place. None of the food was outstanding, but none was terrible either. Entire restaurant was muggy, damp, and hot. Extremely loud. Very good staff, but overall this place cared more about looking faux rustic farmchic than it did about providing great food for the prices they are charging. Please fix the basic problems of noise dampening and AC that lower-budget restaurants are able to manage just fine.
Food was fine to good, service and waiting times to receive food were terrible . Manager stopped by to apologize for the delay and kindly offered to bring bubbly to table to make up for the shortcomings. A nice gesture BUT never returned with bubbly. Noise levels were very loud as well.

We used OpenTable to reserve about a week ahead of our visit. The place is hopping! We waited only a minute to then be guided to a table for two. We liked our location and there were so many people to watch, it was very entertaining.
We had looked at the menu before arriving, so we both had an idea of what we wished for. We ordered beers that were recommended by our waiter, tasty and refreshing. Once we ordered, it did not take long for our food to be served to us.
I had the Cioppino, it was to die for. If you like seafood, you might want to try this dish. It was VERY filling.
My husband opted for the Prime Rib med rare, he got what he asked for. He told me it was very unusual to have it accompanied by both au jus and horseradish. He was in heaven.
We were just visiting the area, if we ever get back, we'll give it another go. Highly recommend.
Food was good, but our server was not good. Had to remind him to take steak temps and didn’t bus off any of our dirty plates. Asked for ice and to get another drink, but never came back. By the end of the meal, drinks were empty and we had no room on the table.

Our waiter did a great job, the cocktails were excellent as was the lemonade. The food was hit or miss. The calamari appetizer was a small, sad portion for the price. We enjoyed the tasty crab and artichoke dip. My entree was the shrimp scampi and I would not recommend it. The gnocchi in the dish was heavy and doughy and shrimp way over cooked. My husband liked his steak dish, especially the Mexican street corn side dish. Outside seating is scenic but loud with the overhead plane traffic and is more appropriate for happy hour rather than a date or special occasion.
I food was bland and not tasty. Service was slow. Popular location so it requires long wait. I will not return.

First time at FFB on a Thursday evening. I had been looking forward to the experience given, particularly, the restaurant's ratings. It was altogether disappointing. Service was lackluster: we were assigned a waiter in training and following the initial introduction by the trainer we barely saw him, or her. We had to call them to place our orders, as they didn't show up for 15 minutes to take them; drinks were slow to arrive; didn't see them until we had to ask for our plates to be taken at the end.
Food was, frankly, nondescript. All in all, $230 dollars for a nice view (sat outside), drinks, bland food and bad service for four. Not going back.
Arrived promptly for an 8pm reservation. Wasn’t seated until after 830. Service staff completely overwhelmed. While they apologized there was no effort to make up for things like forgotten orders, cold food, and quickly reheated microwaved food.
An insulting experience, in the end. Waited 50 minutes for a reserved table; a little sympathy and no comps. Restaurant clearly busy but wait staff was a disaster; waited another 15 minutes for water; another for drinks; another for even a glance from the staff, any staff. Food lukewarm when served. Unbussed tables full of slop nearby. Perhaps this place is a victim of its own success. The food was good but they're just shuffling people along, shuffling along. Yuck.
