Service was not very good at all. We waited a long while to order a drink and it took a long while to get it. Then after we orderd our food we sat with the empty plates in front of us and our check ready with the credit card for long while. We finally had to call them over to pay our bill. Noisy and energetic place but enjoyed that part Mussel pot was good however didn't expect marinara sauce on them. Husband's hamburger was ok but he enjoyed the apple cider slaw. I wouldn't go back.

We loved everything about this place. We came in as a group of six to celebrate a birthday. Everyone had a different order of food and all were very much satisfied with the choices ( shrimp scampi, honey fried chicken, seafood paella, blue cheeseburger, mozzarella basil pizza and grilled cheese burger) oh... the chocolate cake.... the slice was so big that it fed all six... and it tasted heavenly.

Everything was great except for our hostess. I had book a reservation and when I arrived, our hostess said we were not in the system. I showed her our confirmation email and she insisted that we were not in the system nor was she willing to let me know the wait time. She just stared at me with a "so what" facial expression. I was very very disappointed in their service. Luckily, the manager saw our disappointing faces and came to see what was the problem. He came by and immediately gave us a table within 2 minutes.

The food was great. We had their mussels, crab and artichoke dip, cauliflower steak and risotto, and the hummingbird cake. We were stuffed! Very delicious and our waitress was great as well.

Excellent food. Tuna tartare was amazing. Kale salad was so delicious. Interesting take on tacos. Very good but don’t expect traditional tacos.

Can’t wait to go back to try different entrees!

The Sunday brunch is amazing, however it's not replenished very much in the afternoon. I had a 2:15 reservation and there was no French toast or grits. I requested some and the servers were pleasant and seemed to request more. More French toast came towards the end. However, the grits among other items were not replenished. It was a bit disappointing. Try to get earlier brunch reservations. Coming in the afternoon is a bit disappointing.

The food was great but the service was very poor for just providing drinks. They ran out of two of the special juice drinks and it was only 10:15 in the morning. It took them 15 minutes just to get regular coffee and tea.

Excellent food! Very pricey but a good place to go for special occasions like anniversaries/birthdays. Brunch was fantastic. Love that they have Compass Coffee and it's included in brunch! Best dish is the french toast.

I really like dining at Farmers, Fishers Bakers for brunch, the food is wonderful and the staff is always so pleasant and attentive. I’ve recommended this restaurant to many and anytime we have company in town I make it a point to make a reservation for brunch. The money that you spend is well worth it and I can plan my healthy eating around the brunch menu as there are many choices for various healthy eating lifestyles.

Make sure you ask what's on everything before you order. The food is delicious, however some of their twists like mustard seeds in their ketchup really caught me off guard and distracted from the meal.

Reservation 1/2 hour late seating. Seating walk in's before those with reservations. Manager ordered appetizers as an "am sorry" only to be charged when bill came (cleared up after sending check back). Way too loud.
Food ok, drinks are very, very, very expensive, only one Chardonnay on the menu and at $15.5 per 6 oz. pour and $22.5 per 9 oz. pour not worth it and is actually highway robbery (no wine was below these prices), beer I doubt is a pint but the least expensive is $9.50.

Normally we love FFB and we go often. However, this day was the worst experience we've ever had. We got their 8 mins after our reservation, to a fairly empty restaurant. It took over 20 mins to get drinks and almost an HOUR before we got food, that the manager brought to us after we asked. I'm not sure if they were short of staff or the kitchen was struggling, but as we looked around the restaurant not many tables were actually eating food. Hopefully, they will get it together and this was just a bad day.

I really, really enjoyed mh dinner here. I got the Salad with crisped brussel sprouts and blue cheese and the seafood ciappino. I also got a mixed drink that was gin rye ginger and a lot of crushed ice that wasn’t sweetened that met my low carb desires. The food was outstanding, there was plenty of it and the price was very treasonable. I was extremely happy with my meal!

I'm always happy when I go to Farmers Fishers Bakers. The atmosphere is always great, and the food is always excellent. Brunch is usually what this spot is known for, but the dinner I had (rib of eye) was excellent, though a bit pricy for what you get.

4/5.

Regularly will have folks with reservations wait over an hour for their table, and the wait staff (understaffed as it is) often disappears. My most recent visit it took 21 minutes before the server approached the table for the first time.

FFB is a pleasant experience just off the shore from the Potomac. It's a trendy location for all types and has an atmosphere of above casual dining. The restaurant was well heated inside and out, and even though it was busy, our server was able to consistently keep our glasses full, without being a bother to the table, which is a deal for me. Great job!

Had a great time but had a few issues with the food. Had some plastic in the chicken. It happens. But definitely didn't enjoy it. The customer service was subpar. It could of been better. I've been to this place many times because of the brunch and great food. But this visit was not one of the best visits.

Wish I could have giving higher rating for overall visit and food this time. It was very busy and even with reservations we waited for about 20 minutes which I understood. I guess because of it being so busy a lot of the items weren’t replenishing in a timely fashion and the chicken looked like it had been sitting there for a long while. The service was great and I would recommend and return.

We've been to Farmers Fishers Bakcers at least 5 times. Server Chris is phenomenal. He wasn't working on Saturday when we went. We had an 80 year old guest with us who asked for the salmon - with no seasoning. The salmon came out so salty that we couldn't even take it home for the dogs. I subbed in brocollini for something, as did one other person. The brocollini tasted like broccoli does when you steam it so long that the water evaporates and the broccoli is burned. Couldn't eat it. The mussels were good as were the steak frittes. Did not love paying $3.75 for bread for our 80 year old diner when the restaurant couldn't do her salmon or vegetable in edible fashion :( New cooks perhaps? Our server was not a native English speaker so perhaps something was lost in the translation.

We waited a half hour to be seated even though we had a reservation. Then we waited over a half an hour to get the appetizer we ordered. The food was very good, but I don't know if it's worth the wait. I don't think we will be back any time soon.
