Cesar was our server and was very personable. The main meal was great. I had the butterscotch bread pudding for dessert and it was just okay. I'm a dessert connoisseur and wouldn't get it again. My friend thoroughly enjoyed his meal.
Service was slow and then when the food finally came after 45 minutes, it was lukewarm. Service was inattentive and forgot about simple requests like bringing ketchup. Overall, meh. Would not recommend or go again.
Thank you for your review and I am very sorry the food and service missed the mark this time. I'd appreciate the chance to follow up and turn around the poor impression we left you with. Please email me: AGrant@FRG.Farm with a copy of your review, date dined & location. -Amber
Sensational food and drinks. Happy hour was great too
The food was great and great atmosphere
We had the Sunday brunch buffet. I hadn’t been here before so I wasn’t sure what to expect but was optimistic based on reviews.
My friends were happy. The drinks were on point and the food was hot and fresh. Everything was good. If you go, you have to get the cured bacon it was sooooo good. My collins old fashion was legit delish. The mini pancakes were so light and fluffy. I highly recommend this for food. As a boozy brunch it would get pricey but we just had one drink each. All in all I was happy we went.
The food was disappointing. The service was excellent. The Sunday brunch was mediocre. The offerings were boring and the chaffing dishes were empty in too many instances. I would not recommend.
Large menu with something for everyone, a little pricey.
The food was delicious, everything we ordered was absolutely wonderful, the taste, plating, and creativity of the menu items was second to none. The drinks were delicious and crafted with care, and beautifully presented. I’ve been to the other sister restaurants but this one is by far the best. The menu is so diverse, and unique, every last bite was to die for. I loved my evening there and will absolutely be back
The food was amazing. The buffet breakfast is 100% worth the price.
My wallet got stolen from inside the restaurant.
On no! I am SO sorry that happened! Please send me an email- firstname.lastname@example.org with a copy of your review, location, and date so that I can assist!
We were visiting from Nebraska and had the touring DC and eating at great spots like this one! including The Saturday brunch was fantastic and our server was the best!!
Aww! Thank you so much for sharing this with us! :) We are THRILLED you had such a wonderful meal with us and hope to welcome you back again soon! -Amy
I like how they now leave clean plates at your table. It was good to be back. The bananas foster is still good and they make the best, fresh cinnamon buns!
The food was great, as usual. Service was exceptional.
Great relaxed atmosphere
Connor was fantastic! Very pleasant, enthusiastic, professional!
This place seemed cool, I had been to Founding Farmers and loved the experience, ambiance, food, drinks, etc. This place looked more like a diner, the drinks were expensive, but nothing special, and the server was somewhat pushy. You could tell he wanted us to order food, and when we said we were only getting drinks he seemed bothered. Wasn't really welcoming and comforting. Simply for the lack of ambiance and dull drinks I don't plan on returning. If you're going to market as a distiller bar, you better have some great drinks.
We had a very disappointing birthday dinner for our son here on July 21st. It started out when ordering and we couldn't get 2 items we expressly chose this restaurant to enjoy...lamb chops ("we're out tonight") and prime rib (we don't carry that any more"). Then we ordered...
2 of us had rib eye steaks that were full of fat and gristle. The 3rd order was filet mignon and sauted shrimp. The filet was served with no shrimp...the waiter told us the shrimp would be right out...turns out it was never prepared and finally came out when we were basically done eating. Finally, my husband ordered a hot fudge sundae...this consisted of a small scoop of vanilla ice cream, a very small dab of whipped cream and a small metal container of chocolate sauce....oh...and this cost $9.50.
We will Not eat here again....very disappointing!
Thank you for your review and sharing these details with our team. I am so sorry your visit started off on the wrong foot, and nothing about our service or food turned your experience around for the better. This said, I'd love to connect and find a way to make this right! Please email me: AGrant@FRG.Farm with a copy of your review, date dined & location. -Amber
The service was a bit slow. All of our food arrived cold. The drinks were great.
Oh no! I am very sorry for the disappointing outcome to the food and service during your visit this time. :( I would love the chance to touch base and hopefully turn this around! Please email me: Amy@FRG.Farm with a copy of your review, date dined & location. -Amy
Good food & great drinks. At first, you could only hear light chatter but they cut on some loud music which caused people to talk louder.
It was amazing the food and drinks were great food was a little slow cause it’s cool to order and all homemade but so worth it if you have the time
