We were visiting DC for the first time and found this restaurant through Open Table. The menu was diverse and delicious! The service was excellent from the time we arrived. Edwin, our server was helpful and kind. We loved his stories. We put it on our list of places we will go back to on our next trip.

If you care about your stomach, do not attend Farmers & Distillers brunch. I recently went there for their Sunday brunch in DC (the one closer to 901 L St NW) and it was absolutely terrible. The brunch was self serve but I just had to let them take back the food. It bothers me that I had to waste food. I had to wait several hours before my stomach allowed me to eat something else and the only thing I'm allergic to is pork. Truly not worth your money to attend their brunch!

Oh gosh!! Lisha, I am so very sorry to read that there was nothing enjoyable about our buffet brunch offerings. :( We feel awful to have let you down, and you are right- our buffet brunch is truly not ideal for a Vegan diner since many items are made in larger quantities and are more susceptible to cross contact. This said, I would love the chance to follow up and hopefully find a way to turn this around! I will send you a DM with my email address in hopes we can touch base. -Amy

Went for weekend brunch. Arrived a little before 10am and the restaurant was over 50% capacity already...guess everyone knows this place is good!

Poor service. Only saw my server a couple times and probably would’ve had at least one more drink, but I finished my food and did not feel like waiting the same amount of time it took to get the first drink.

Everything was great except for a group of guests who weren’t wearing masks while waiting for their table and moving through the seating area.

Very disappointed with my visit. It was a Saturday afternoon, they only had buffet which was fine at $30 a person plus a 4% pandemic fee on top, plus tax and tip. Although you have to wear a mask in the restaurant. Their social distancing is impossible in or around the buffet area. They did not have much breakfast item for the buffet. Things were not hot or appealing visually. I barely took 3 bites from my whole plate and never went back for a refill. I will not return.

Extremely average food, overpriced but nothing terrible. We'd walked a ton and needed to find something quickly, so it served the purpose of nice-enough spot in a pretty dead downtown area. You won't be disgusted, clean and friendly wait staff, but it will not wow you at all.

Service was polite, efficient and not intrusive. Food was exactly as described; very good.
Electronic touch less checkout was glitchy: needed to go back to paper.

This is my second time at the restaurant since the pandemic began. I've found the staff to be personable and the food very tasty! The staff is wearing face coverings as were the guests, when not eating. I could see indoors and the patrons were seated far apart. We had a pasta dish and the chicken pot pie as well s the sweet potato dumplings and dessert. Everything was delicious and piping hot!

It was ok... Forced to order brunch buffet ... The food was tasty but not what I came for. The waiters first language wasn't English... so not clear what he was saying most of the time. We survived... Endured!

Place is loud, ambiance is ordinary, and service was marginal (had to send one meal back), however Fried Chicken was amazing.

Fantastic experience. Service was GREAT! Willingness to be helpful, great suggestions and menu knowledge from our server, and my FAVORITE THING EVER... what he didn’t know he was willing to inquire about and get back to us! Other food was excellent... the ahi tuna salad was a hit at our table. Truly a great night.
