Food was great! Felt safe with the workers serving food behind plexiglass for the buffet. Our waitress got missing but other than that a great experience. I love their brunch!
Friendly server, unfriendly and not helpful host. Weekend buffet food was barely warm at best
If I was told up front that the buffet was $30 dollars per person, I would have left. Who spends $80.00 for breakfast.
Food was delicious and our waiters were great. The $1 donuts are a MUST!
Tasty food, nice outdoor seating, and if you are lucky enough to have Angela as your server, even better. She was great!
We loved the spicy margaritas! Delicious Kung pau dumplings. Really fresh and beautiful food. Would definitely go back.
Everything was perfect for our date night dinner Shrimp dumplings were exceptional: unexpected wrapper, flavor-filled interior. Cute, fresh from the oven garlic knots punched up with ricotta / creamy tomato dip. Spicy, yummy dan dan noodles so hearty we had extra for lunch. Perfectly seared scallops surrounding parmesan grits and layered with crisp broccolini with bright burst of lemon. There was nothing that wasn’t delicious!!
Food was good and drinks too. I had 3 drinks and still no buzz at all, but they tasted good. I’d definitely come back again to try more items on the menu.
Very unclear when making the reservation that we would be forced into the buffet on weekends before 2pm. Was not denoted on OpenTable or clearly on the restaurant’s website or menus.
Food from the buffet was very bland and not worth the $30/person. Food that was made to order and came from the kitchen was really good, however, leading me to believe that if we could have ordered off the regular menu the food would have been much better
Food was cold, not what was listed on the menu of buffet options. Restaurant was cluttered, music in our section was so loud we couldn’t hear our server at all. I understand it’s COVID times, but let people know in arrival the buffet is different than advertised. I would never return to this location. Their other restaurant was MUCH more enjoyable
Sebastian was a phenomenal server. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Overall, our experience was superb, fun, and tasty. Thank you Sebastian, for recommending El Presidente cocktail, by far my new favorite drink.
Loved Farmers and Distillers! Amazing variety in the menu. Cocktails were creative and fun. Each dish ordered at the table was delicious. The doughnuts for dessert are a must. The restaurant went to great lengths to make sure everyone was safe during this time of pandemic. Don't miss out on this great restaurant!
My girlfriend drove down from Philadelphia to get the crab Benedict. Our reservation was for 1:30. The crab Benedict is not on the afternoon lunch menu. But the manager, the chef and our waitress worked together and we had our crabs Benedict. Thank you
The food and service was great. Would definitely recommend it to everyone
I had the linguine and clams which was excellent. I paired that with a local weis beer which turned out to be a good choice. The service was great. This was an overall great experience. I can't wait to go back.
The happy hour menu is quite varied. We ordered six items, each of which was excellent. Two favorites were the dumplings and the ribs. The prices were a tremendous value. Great service and attention to COVID protocols.
Nice ambience. I ordered the market fish of the day (trout) because the waiter said it was pan seared. When it arrived, it was baked. My wife ordered the beer can chicken. As my wife started to eat her meal, she noticed it had a honey flavored taste to it. She was given the honey thyme spatchcock chicken instead. Later, another waiter tells us that they don't offer the beer can chicken anymore. Both, however, are listed on Farmer's online menus. If Farmer's doesn't offer the beer can chicken, they should remove it from the online menu. Waiters should know their employer's menu. Getting both orders wrong/giving out incorrect info is a true turnoff. No apology was offered from the Farmer's staff and no offer to reduce the bill was given. I'm not sure we'll be returning to Farmers & Distillers. Great Aztec latte though.
Our waiter was excellent once we flagged him down. The food was very good. So much different food to choose from. Had the Spatchcock chicken which was very good with roasted root veggies.
The green tomatoes were soggy! The wings were overcooked! None of my food was hot!
The server took to long to service me; i had to ask other servers for help even though the restaurant was not busy.
With all of that, I still tipped because I understand that the server needs to make a living.
Underwhelming to say the least.
One of the worst dining experiences I've had this pandemic. We waited over 20 mins after our reservation time to be seated, despite there being tables open. We were seated at an outdoor table that was basically on the sidewalk with pedestrians constantly walking by. There shouldn't have been tables in that area at all - it blocked the sidewalk and was awkward to eat at. It took another 15 mins for our server to come with water and to take our orders. The food took forever to come out and was mediocre. I asked for medium rare on my steak, and it came out well done. It then took another 30 mins from when we finished eating to when they came to clear our plates and bring the check. All in all, we spent more time waiting than anything else, and our server spent maybe 5 mins max with us during the entire 2 hour dining experience. I think there are multiple issues with how Farmers & Distillers is handling its pandemic response. The outdoor seating arrangement needs to be reassessed so that it's not blocking the sidewalk, and they need to hire more servers. It seems the servers have multiple tables both indoors and outdoors, making them extremely busy and the service provided to each table lackluster.
Hi MichC: Thank you for sharing your feedback with our team. We are super sorry for the disappointing layout of our outdoor seating and slow service you experienced this time. :( I would be more than happy to touch base about your feedback and find a way to turn this around. Please email me: Amy@FRG.Farm with a copy of your review + date dined. -Amy
Bathrooms were dirty, no soap or Gand sanitizer anywhere. Food was grim.
I had the lamb chops and they were great! The service was excellent as well. I am looking forward to going back.
