10/10 :) One of the best restaurants in DC!!!!
Excellent restaurant I recommended for brunch. The food is excellent.
Enjoyed it. Seemed to have too few servers to accommodate both indoor and outdoor diners.
Waiter (Jeffrey) was very rude and dismissive. After asking about some of the brunch options, specifically how patrons were getting their meals, Jeffrey responded to my question saying, “I don’t know anything about that. I don’t know.” At no point in time did he offer to follow up on my question and quite honestly it seemed as though he could care less.
I was shocked F&D is still serving brunch buffet style. Diners must line up around the inside of the restaurant (the spaces between those lined up did NOT seem to be six feet apart), then an employee would but on the plate what you ask for similar to a cafeteria. With the amount of people in the line and in the restaurant dining it doesn’t seem they were following the DC guidelines for how many people can be in a building. I’m so thankful for our server, Benjamin, who understood our concerns and went ABOVE and BEYOND for me and my family by bringing us food family style. He was INCREDIBLE and OUTSTANDING!
We of course chose outside dining for additional safety. With that said, it was very breezy and chilly so heaters would have been nice.
Amazing service and food. Will come back!
The food was great but the service wasn’t as great as it could be. Our server was good but you could tell they were very understaffed at the buffet line. The line grew extremely long and people couldn’t socially distance because there simply weren’t enough people helping to dish the food.
There also isnt info on open table which shows that Sunday morning is all buffet for brunch and not the regular menu. We would have gone at a different time since it’s not worth the buffet price for children.
I hope they can figure out a better configuration as the dining limits are raised. It’s really not the best to have people lined up in the lobby area waiting for a buffet line.
It was awesome.. and the staff was very accommodating and nice 👍🏾
We were tourists. We wanted a nice dinner, but didn't want a place "too fancy" because we wanted our teenagers to be comfortable too. The restaurant is very unique and exciting. We recognized everything on the menu and were able to "experiment" and still be comfortable. The food was great. The steak was perfect. The drinks were perfect, but expensive. We sat outside and out food got cold rather quickly...not their fault. They gave us the bill before serving our food...totally their fault (were they trying to send a message?).
One of the best brunch spots in DC. For the last several years, Farmers and Distillers has been a staple for my wife and I to have brunch. The professionalism of the staff is only surpassed by the quality of the food. The Chef(s) take the time to take simple recipes and elevate them far beyond expectations. Since their re-opening in the new normal of COVID-19, the Farmers and Diatillers' leadership has taken great strides to ensure the safety of the associates and customers. Additional, the Farmers consortium publishes a stauts COVID newsletter as a means of transparency. My wife and I will make every effort to support Farmers and Distillers each week. Keep up the great work. Love the experience because you all love what you do!

Service was good, food and drinks were great, but everything (food and drinks) seemed to come out a little slow.
Food was cold. Service was very slow. Not a good experience
I graduated from graduate school.
The chicken and waffles was amazing.
Hooray! Thanks Arthur for sharing this with us, and we really appreciate it! -Amy
The food and the atmosphere was GREAT! My server wasn't the BEST. But overall food was good. I will say they need to add a kids menu though.
Brunch buffet was awesome! Good safety precautions in place too.
All was great sitting outside.
Service was slow, but overall good experience.
weekend brunch is a buffet. it's too crowded skip.
Thank you very much for your review, and we are real sorry our wknd buffet brunch service was not to your liking. :/ Please know, we do offer an a la carte breakfast served M-F from 7-11am OR we also offer a wknd "Brunch At Home" kit available to order on our website. :) We really appreciate it and hope to have you back (or order from us) again sometime soon. -Amy
Very cold brunch food. I left unhappy because I couldn’t even eat anything. Manager didn’t even say anything to us knowing we was unhappy with the food.
Hi Daley: I am so sorry for the cold brunch food, and am equally let down you left dissatisfied with your experience. :( I would love the chance to follow up with you about your review, and will send you a DM with my email address. -Amy
Food was delicious, as always, and service was excellent.
45 minutes past reservation before being seated. Was not clear on what the menu options were available, but it appeared that it was limited to the buffet option despite seeing al la carte menu orders being served to other tables. It would be have been a better service if the options were clear in the beginning during covid but perception was buffet option was being prioritized. We have had better service before as recurring customers.
I am so sorry for the delay with your reservation and confusion surrounding our buffet brunch service during your visit today. :( I would love to turn around the disappointment you left with, and will send you a follow up message with my email address to hopefully touch base further. -Amy
Came here for brunch. The food tasted good, however seemed to run out and a lot of people were gathering waiting for food. This made us feel uneasy since a few people didn’t social distance. We also noticed that patrons outside were using the same door as everyone else. They were grabbing food and touching the doors which were disgusting. Then patrons used their hands to eat the food, which sounds like a haven for the spread of COVID. I wish they would take better care sanitizing and cleaning the crowded spaces.
