Fantastic food and service.
Excellent spot for all occasions
Really yummy drinks and food! I got the Clementine Cooler which was BOMB. Definitely on the pricey side, but good food if you don't mind dropping $40 on dinner.
Our waitress was great and made good food suggestions for each of the six of us.
Great food and the open table reservation works great for the large group!
Yummy food and lovely service. Went before a concert and got out in record time!
F&D was very ill equipped for a night there was a scheduled event at the Capital One arena. Pink was performing and it was her second night so you would think they would have been well prepared from previous show. Service was extremely slow. I won’t go back to this location, especially if there’s an event at Cap One arena
The food was good. Seemed to be trying a bit too hard with the Asian food. The raclete was underwhelming and probably my expectations were too high. I liked the food. But the apps came after the entrees. Restaurant was busy and timing was off. Drinks were good. They did comp the apps which left a good impression. I'll try again sometime when in the area.
Get the crab dip, best I've had! Dasha provided great service and was super attentive ☺️
The food was great and the proportions were generous. Once ordered, the food came quickly and as ordered by our group of 6. We enjoyed the Good All Green and Baby Kale salads (lemon dressing is awesome), pizza (pepperoni & roasted vegetable), cacio e pepe pasta and a variety of shareable appetizers (ahi tuna bites & crab dip).
The only downside of our experience related to the "For Groups" Cocktail. When dining at an upscale, vibrant restaurant it seemed very odd that the "For Groups" cocktail comes in one shared container (see picture). With colds and germs in peak season this was not how our group cared to enjoy a drink. Had it been noted anywhere on the menu or with a picture I'm sure we would have opted for individual cocktails, which we did for the second round.
A definite repeat!
What a find! Went there for lunch one day with colleagues and LOVED the food. Many choices from spring rolls to pasta to burgers. All sourced organically and prepared impeccably. So enjoyed this lunch I returned the following day for more. The Stilton cheese salad and the cacio y pepe were outstanding. Be sure to leave room for dessert and/or a donut. If you're in DC, make it a point to visit this place. You WON'T be disappointed.
Steak frite was just ok, needed seasoning and the fries were nothing special. The kale salad was fantastic and the butternut squash good, not the best we’ve had. Server was great and very friendly. Will try one more time.
Fabulous customer service with great tasting food! Love that they work with open table in order to make an easy reservation especially for a larger group.
Bad service. Food was average
We were here on a busy Monday night. Sat down at 6 p.m. and ordered cocktails, which took nearly an HOUR to arrive. We sat there with just water for the LONG wait. While the manager comped the drinks, the delay put a damper on the evening. The food, however, was very good- dumplings, pasta with lobster, pizza.
Drinks were great but food was ok. I’m a fan and have come to the brunch several times but my first entree had to be sent back and the second one was average.
Amazing food/selection. Great specialty drinks. We had a fantastic time! We tried it all...Filet, Noodles, Pizza, seafood dumpling, chicken fried steak and donut, Fried Chicken, Twice Cooked Beef Tenderloin, and kettle Corn. All farm to table. Delicious!
I had heard so much about Farmers and Distillers so my boyfriend and I went to check it out. His food came out burnt and when he re-ordered the steak, it wasn't prepared how it was ordered. We ended up having to box up most of it, as my food had come out and was gone. We also ordered the kung po pot stickers and they too were dry and lacked the flavor we were hoping for. I was told they do a better Brunch, so maybe in the future we will check them out.
It took 30 minutes to get a cocktail after being seated but it was really delicious.
Had the drunken noodle, it was amazing. Ended my meal with a creme brulee donut. Double yum
Nice venue and good service
Food was great, and once our server arrived, everything was fine. However, the check in process at the front desk seemed extremely disorganized. It was like the restaurant had no procedure for moving people to tables, when there were plenty of empty tables. We had a reservation and waited at least 15 minutes to be seated. Others with reservations said they waited 20 minutes or more. And this was at 5pm, when the restaurant was only 1/2 full or less. Not clear what was going on. And little communication with arriving guests. So that did not instill confidence. After we were seated, it took quite a while for a server to come to our table. After that, though, everything went well. Service was fine, and the food was very good. But for the price, you would expect the restaurant to be more tightly managed.
My girlfriends and I enjoyed Sunday brunch! The food was tasty, especially the rib tips, the salmon and the crab dip. Our waitress was very courteous as well. It's worth the price.
It doesn’t get any better than this.. These guys aren’t playing around. You get what you pay for and they have some serious chefs preparing some serious meals..I had ordered the barbecue fried chicken the dish came out so Devine I had to stick my head back into the kitchen and yelled “Mom is that you? The cost is defiantly reasonable for DC..the service is great.. and whenever you go there.. there’s always a long wait.. there’s a reason why.. it’s best to make reservations through Open Table.. stay tuned for my weekend brunch review...
I was looking for a good buffet brunch and this place DELIVERED. They had every kind of meat - pork, prime rib, chicken - friend and roasted, salads, lunch items and breakfast items . The french toast was my FAVORITE. So good. And they passed around fancier items, though we didn't get to try them all because a few didn't come by our table. But we didn't really need them because we were full enough from the buffet items! Also the dessert table - with FRESH donuts - YUMM.
Positives: great location (close to metro station and downtown), great atmosphere and decor, and great service (attentive server).
Negatives: made a reservation online and arrived 10 minutes before the appointment and checked in. Waited another 25 min and seated 15 minutes after the appointment time. What is the point of making a reservation if they cannot keep the time! Mediocre food (Prime rib was not seasoned enough and pork chop was dried). Simply put - this restaurant is another medium scale restaurant like P.F. Chang or Cheesecake Factory.
The Pot au feu is nothing like pot au feu. It’s tough chunks of beef in a broth with green beans and pickled vegetables and jalapeño.
Can’t wait to see what the cassoulet is.
Visited twice last week while attending a business conference. First time was just not great, second was awful. Horrible service, including manager, unwilling to accommodate dietary needs and just overall terrible experience.
Acadia was an amazing server! all food was hot and DELICIOUS. new favorite restaurant.
We were a bit ignored at first, which was fine because we weren't in a hurry. But then the entrees showed up before the appetizers and I'm not sure if the appetizers would have shown up if we didn't say something. The waitress apologized about that about 15 minutes later and comped the desserts, which was nice. The food was OK, nothing special. I had the 10 oz rib eye and I was surprised when it came out so thin, which is not what I expected. But it was cooked at the medium rare I had requested. And my wife had the lobster pot pie which had 4 or 5 pieces of lobster but was OK. I think the best part of the meal was the dessert though the cherry pie had too much crust. All in all not a place I would plan to go back to.
Food Quality is subpar. The restaurant needs deep cleaning and focus on overall appearance and improvement of quality of food quality and preparation.
Went here with family from out of town - as usual the service and food were spectacular!
We love the brunch buffet and this was our third visit to a Farmers restaurant. We brought out of town guests. Be prepared, your reservation time is a “suggestion” so expect to wait 15-45 min. The first visit in December our family waited 45 min this visit was 15min - but psychologically knowing ahead of time you will wait helps :)
There are so many foods from which to choose - breakfast to dinner options. We loved the pizza and dumplings brought table-side. The staff is by far the friendliest and most courteous around DC. You should visit the Farmers restaurants; great food great serve...great mission and culture.
We also took a complimentary tour of the distillery - WOW! Great experience and John and Autumn were great hosts throughout. Shout out to their Vodka and Amaro (and the Mint Julep was amazing) BOOK THIS TOUR!
Justice was a great server
Fun, healthy brunch at a reasonable price. Not as good as Founding Farmers though.
Great food and a huge, diverse menu with fun drinks. Nice service and great staff who bent over backwards to help our party make it work despite running a bit late. Very loud, so much so that most of us couldn’t hear conversation or the waitress when more than one person distance away.
Our experience was excellent as always. Our waitress was great, the food fantastic and we're always surprised how reasonable it is.
Everything was excellent - the desserts were very tasty.
