I really enjoyed brunch here. The service was a bit slow during Sunday brunch, but I enjoyed the space enough to relax through the wait. The food was good quality and tasty. The drinks were strong. Overall great experience!
We celebrate my birthday, all family together. Great place to go with kids. Food excellent and service very good. We love the live music and outdoor space.
I've dined here 3 times now, and this was my best experience where the food is involved. In a party of 5, 3 of us shared the steak and eggs, breakfast pizza, and salmon toast. All were delicious. We ordered champagne with the assorted juices, a bloody mary, and for dessert shared the hazel nut cake. Out of everything I think the hazelnut cake is what we could have passed on. It was delicious and we'll keep going back again.
Staff did an incredible job of accommodating a party of 12 at one table based on 3 separate reservations for 4-tops. Thank you. We had a memorable family brunch.
My group was a bit of a pain when it came to the check. The staff was VERY patient. Drinks great. Squash pizza was incredible.
We booked 2 tables for 4 requesting them close because open table wouldn’t allow a booking for 8. We arrived late, as it happened just 20 minutes before closing. We were seated at a table for 8, there was never any concern about closing. All the staff were really cheery and accommodating, even whilst they cleared up and closed around us. It’s a beautiful venue for an unseasonably warm February Saturday lunch in San Diego. Oh yes, food and beer great too!
I love this place! I love taking new people here and surprising them. You drive through a boring office park to get here then after you park and see the tractor, you realize you’ve stumbled on something special. The outdoor seating is beautiful and there is plenty to do to keep you occupied while you wait for your delicious food. Lawn games and lounge chairs surround the patio. I went for Saturday brunch and it was filled with well behaved kids playing while their adults sipped specialty coffees and sparkling wines. The food is perfect. Always very good. I have completely enjoyed everything I have ever ordered here as has everyone I have ever dined with here. All around, my favorite breakfast/brunch the area!
We had the best time! I made a reservation for my husband’s birthday and mentioned we had little kids with us. They sat us right next to the grass and corn hole, which was perfect because the kids played and we relaxed and enjoyed our brunch. The server was great, we were slow in doing everything and never felt rushed or pressured. It was the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning and celebrate my husband’s birthday.
This was my first visit but it won’t be my last. Enjoyed a delicious brunch with my daughter and her friend (we had the chiliquiles, the waffle, and the pancakes - all were very tasty). Service was attentive without being intrusive. Can’t wait to bring my husband back for happy hour!
I wasn't overly impressed by this restaurant and I am a big fan of all of Brian's other dining establishments. Service was very slow. A bit surprising given it was lunch time and not too busy. I cannot imagine how long it would take to have a meal or get a drink there if the place was actually packed. There was an error in our order, so that had to be rectified. At the end, a couple of items was taken off our check, so not too sure if that was due to lack of attention or to compensate for the error. The restaurant is lovely and fun. Food was just ok, nothing outstanding as I was expecting. Overall our dining experience was neutral - not sure if I would return.
Hostess was rude. Waiter was bartending and was slow in
continuing to serve us throughout the lunch. Cold here with all the open doors
Had to wait way past our reservation time for a table. It was very busy, and noisy. But once we were seated, as always the food and the service were excellent.
Great experience as always.
It was okay. Kind of overpriced. Very overrated in terms of food. Was a slightly upscale version of Denny’s honestly
I met a friend for lunch at the restaurant. She had never been. Service was a bit slow and it took a while for server to come over. They were pretty busy, so no point loss; my friend and I each ordered the Cobb salad. She ordered it as printed on the menu, I asked them to eliminate the blue cheese and blue cheese dressing. Our salads were delivered; however, my salad was topped with the blue cheese and blue cheese dressing. It was taken back and within minutes , I had just what I ordered. I’ve been to the restaurant a few times and this was the first time there was a problem. No points subtracted as everything was promptly and pleasantly taken care of and we were asked a few times if all was okay. The restaurant has a really good menu with all fresh ingredients. The ambiance is casual and open and the patio dining is lovely. I do want to plan to dine in the fun Airstream trailer that sits in the middle of the restaurant.
Amazing food, I can’t emphasize enough. Came here for brunch, and the Chilaquiles and the Lobster were the best thing ever. The staff was absolutely amazing. Drinks, don’t even get me started. The Michelada was next level, I don’t like bloody Mary’s but I have been converted, and the sassy sangrita is hand down amazing.
We were seated in the restaurant but on the open edge(table for two). It is a wind tunnel. Greatly detracts from the dining experience. Otherwise, continues to be a favorite.
Nice setting, food and service.
I had the King Cobb Salad with chicken. The chicken was moist and good, salad was crisp and fresh. The dressing could have been a bit more seasoned it was a little bland. Service was good even tho it was busy and it was a really cute place. The outside area would be a great place to meet in warmer months!
This is a wonderful lunch spot . Innovative space and great food.
Kevin is a great at customer service and made it all worthwhile!
Great ambiance and live music. Yummy food :)
Not sure what to expect since it’s off the beaten path, but this place was beautiful! An oasis of light and fun! The food in the evening is mainly bar food but it was fantastic. Really excellent staff and service. We will definitely be returning!!
We had a fabulous lunch and it was delicious! The noise level was a bit loud, but as people started leaving it became much quieter! We were with a couple in their 80's so it was hard for them to hear well. They did great tho! This is truly a hidden gem of a restaurant!
My Go to lunch place!
Today's service was bad/slow (a no-protein salad and the special and 2 hot teas). Maybe it was the holiday party but we waited a long time for our food, our fries were cold 2x, they ran out of ranch (?) and the teas they use didn't steep and were flavorless- both green and chamomile. This was my regular go to.
We really enjoyed brunch with the variety of entrees. The service was attentive and friendly, attractive decor, great clean bathrooms. I wish I could make a latte like Farmer and The Seahorse !
Excellent restaurant have a holiday lunch at with my work team!
I almost don’t want to write a review so we can keep this gem a secret. Love this place
Beautiful property, good service, and good food! I will definitely be back!
Great place for kids, food was way better that what i thought was going to be. The lobster roll was among the best I've had in SD.
Great place. I found the live music to a bit too loud for conversation.
We will be back !
Music is always a bit loud but we had another fantastic time!
A rock solid menu with gorgeous indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect for business lunch, happy hour or dinner.
I love this place, our server was fantastic, but we had to wait to be seated because it was very busy Friday pm
Great place for a business meeting or friends and family.
We waited more than 35 min to get our food (salads).
Food was good, albeit took forever in arriving (they did come to us, apologized and discounted the meal, so that was good as we were starting to wonder what was going on). Two meals were the same, yet the portions were wildly different which was odd and should be consistent especially if going to the same table! With the discount the meal was appropriately priced; however, otherwise a little on the high side. All in all, a pleasant place to have a business/science lunch meeting.
Delightful experience at a weekday lunch. My friend and I ordered their chicken Cobb salad. Best Cobb I’ve ever had. Everything was so fresh and delicious. It was a substantial size and moderately priced. The service was excellent and we enjoyed a terrific lunch.
Less salt on the salmon please.
