If you are looking for something low key this is the place. I've been wanting to go here forever, however, I was disappointed. I expected more variety. The food was delicious which made up for it. I would go back but I would dress more casual.
I was hoping for a bit more gourmet but overall pretty good and the staff went over backwards to please us.
Lovely meal for a special occasion (birthday in this case). Lots more on the menu we want to try.
Excellent food, great service. quiet conversation - A+++
Great food, good service. Decided to share a bunch of dishes and they spread them out perfectly. Would definitely go again.
We went for their special Thanksgiving Dinner. The meal was delicious. We ordered an assortment of desserts. All were excellent, especially the apple crepes.
We were not rushed, and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner .
Hi ... I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the place and the servers were very pleasant and knowledgeable. My one complaint was that my brussel sprouts and parts of my turkey were cold. Other than that, all was great and I look forward to going back for lunch sometime.
Excellent, fresh food served with care and efficiency. Beautiful, simple decor that’s warm and cozy.
Had high expectations and unfortunately the food was all bland. Very disappointing.
The atmosphere is inviting the staff is friendly and stops by the table often but not too often, The food is excellent and drinks are done perfectly.
I've been there several times and its consistent.
the server was lovely but we received our apps for desert , the sweet potato bread , and although good the dish was very hot and I burned my hand ... I was spending time with my family , my daughter who I don't see often enough and did not want to make a scene but he regular bread also came after the meal ! so nothing was taken of f the bill, I would not go back
Great brunch selection and delicious, fresh food. Service was attentive.
Food was sub-par (missing items from the order and under cooked) and service was slow with an attitude (when I asked what was included in a dish, they pointed to another table who was finishing up their meal and said “that”).
Good solid meal not crazy priced! Would go back again!
Mediocre to the core. Also I had called earlier in the day to ask that a note be made for a birthday candle etc Dessert arrived with no candle, no signing, nada
We love the food, especially the crabs. Chef Jason thanks for the hospitality and the delicious crabs. Will be back soon.
2nd time here. Was very pleased with my meal and felt quality of ingredients, portion size and, most importantly, tastiness of the dishes were all in sync. We split the octopus appetizer and cauliflower with chick pea crust. Both very good, cauliflower special. And only $10 for a nice portion. I had halibut dinner. Delicious. Ate every last bite. We had an Oregon Pinot noir for $70 that was perfect. All good. Pleasantly surprised.
Delicious food. Very healthy choices available. Love their sweet Potato bread but it’s only on the dinner menu. Service can be a bit slow, but not terrible.
The staff was great, pleasant and very accommodating. The food was also great.
Delicious and relatively healthy, enjoyed it
Worst service I’ve had in a while. Took over 30 min before we had a server come by. Main was okay, the halibut had a great sear but could have used more romesco, and was mostly white beans with only scraps of the other garnishes. Overall not nearly an experience worth the price they’re charging. So many better ways to spend your money.
Very nice atmosphere. Did not enjoy the food and service was slow . Calamari was good.
The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Oddly enough no one in my party ordered a fish dish but we can vouch that the salads and French toast are good choices.
I had dinner with friends here on Saturday evening. Food, service, atmosphere were all great! Five Stars! I am looking forward to returning.
Delicious food - try the avocado toast and brussel sprouts, and I love the half bottles of champagne. Great atmosphere and open air patio too. I'd definitely recommend!
Healthful and interesting food with kindness, this restaurant on Park Avenue is a gem. It's trendy and fun.
Service was impeccable. We came here for brunch. I got french toast which was delicious. My friend liked her pancakes.
We had the CRISPY CHICKEN COB. You should be renamed the SALTY SALTY CRISPY CHICKEN COBB! If you don't have high blood pressure you'll get it with this dish. When we provided feedback to the waiter he seemed unfazed. I thought he would communicate it to the chef. I even asked if the chicken was brined first. No reaction. No discussion about having another protein added to the salad. We waited 15 minutes for our check to be returned after our credit card was run. I know it was 15 minutes as I looked at the current time and compared it to the time posted on when the charge was run! Clearly the waiter completely forgot to bring us the check. I had to get up and walk over to the waiter to get the check finally.
Maybe. We weren't that impressed by the food or the portions. The bottomless brunch drinks were basic and a good value. No bottomless coffee in sight!
Our service was quite slow which was annoying as there weren't many patrons that day. Overall, I didn't think this place was anything special. It seems to be a place frequented by families as toddlers were allowed to run around the entire place while parents of infants dined on their food.
We came across this place while walking around, saved it in favorites and visited last week without any high expectations. But what a pleasant surprise it was!!!! The interior is nothing posh, but very ambient. Very welcome staff and perfect service! The food was unbelievably good. We are so spoilt with Michelin starred restaurants and we love all of it! The hamachi crudo, tuna, scallops, shishito peppers, octopus salad - bravo, chef! We will definitely keep coming back and I will recommend to all my friends! This is a gem!
Food wasn't very flavorful, just ok. Nice decor and good service.
We had a rez for 8:00. Walked in on time. Seated right away and service came to our table in a few minutes. The waitress was very pleasant, positive and cool. Our food came in a timely manner and it was delicious. I plan to take another friend there very soon.
Everything was superb. There was extreme attention to detail. We decided to share a few different things, and our waitress created a perfectly coursed meal for us. Everything is fresh and prepared to perfection
Pretty little gramercy restaurant. Hamachi, Farmer’s salad excellent, cauliflower poppers and king crab good. Great service. Will come back for dollar oysters soon.
We had a wonderful meal!
Food and drinks were good but service was slow considering the restaurant was not busy. We requested separate checks and the waiter agreed but did not comply.
Delicious food, nice ambience, quiet, great service... Two thumbs up!
The experience I had at Farmer & the Fish was sub par. Typically for restaurants included in restaurant week I expect good food and food service (they’re so special they had to be made more accessible to people for a couple of weeks). Although the restaurant wasn’t full, we waited a long time to place a drink order, place a food order and get the check. As for food, I left hungry because I disliked the food so much. There is no flavor. My appetizer tasted like nothing. I guess that’s why they keep salt and old bay on the table. My ate less than half of my entree because the flavor choices didn’t make sense. And the chocolate lava cake wasn’t a lava cake it was just a chocolate cake. That was the only part of the meal that was okay. I would only ever go back for $1 oysters during happy hour which were pretty good. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend.
We waited around 30min for a glass of wine and a beer, the restaurant wasn’t busy as only 30% was occupied. No one was coming to ask us how we were or if we wanted to order. We ordered oysters and they gave us less, when I told them they didn’t even apologize but they did bring the missing pieces eventually. Would never go back.
We went for Restaurant Week. It was okay...
