Farm & Vine Bistro is the culinary vision of Chef Hakan. We are a new restaurant now opened in Burlingame. Chef Hakan brings the art of food on to your plate. His 25 years of experience in San Francisco and the Bay Area, along with his ambition for food and cooking, make him famous at local neighborhood restaurants. He takes classic dishes and gives them a personalized touch using only the finest foods from local farms and around the world.     The garlic bread was really just a garlic pesto on sourdough. Not terrible, but not traditional if you are looking for that. The gnocchi was good, but it was quite a small serving. The brussels sprouts weren’t crispy, and left a lot to be desired. I likely won’t be back.

    Our dinner at Farm & Vine was just a delightful evening from beginning to end. We arrived early and they made a special effort to accommodate us. The menu is extensive and interesting. The paella was as good as we'd had anywhere. Petrale sole was perfectly cooked, the calamari starter came with a tasty dip, and loved the profiteroles as a finish. Good as the food was, the service was even more exceptional. Friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, everyone worked together smoothly as a team. We'll make a special trip over to Burlingame just to go back!

    Charming American-Italian Spot Just Off Burlingame Avenue Tucked away on a quiet side street off Burlingame Avenue, this American-Italian restaurant offers a peaceful escape from the usual Sunday crowds. With only a few other guests during our visit, we enjoyed open seating and chose a lovely outdoor table shaded by umbrellas—perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends. The service was warm and attentive throughout, although the drinks arrived after our meals, which was a bit of a letdown. The food, however, made up for it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. We tried the Penne Bolognese with wagyu meat ragù, the gluten-free Ravioli di Bufala di Campana topped with brown butter and sage, a fresh Caprese sandwich, and Focaccia bread that was ideal for sharing. Each dish showcased quality ingredients and excellent preparation. That said, the portion sizes were on the smaller side considering the premium price point. Overall, it was a lovely lunch experience for a friendly gathering, and I’d most likely return to try other dishes on the menu.

    This was my fourth time at Farm and Vine in the past few months, and it never disappoints! A successful Brunch for 6 women was my goal. Everyone enjoyed their meals and great service. The wait staff was patient and accommodating. We will be back again soon!

    Farm & Vine is our neighborhood bistro. It’s the place we take friends or treat ourselves to a dinner out. Cocktails are spectacular and food is great. Service is friendly. Always a good experience.

    Flavorful food, relaxing environment, excellent and timely- attentive service. We were celebrating a birthday and they provided a delicious panna cotta. We wanted to split a salad and they split the salad for us with a beautiful presentation.

    Booked a table inside, got there and was told they had no tables inside because of a few large parties. Was told to wait at an outside table and have a drink while they prepare a table inside. Never happened and it was SUPER windy outside, so much so that a glass was blown off the table. Ended up leaving and went to Trapeze down the street. If I book an indoor table, I should get an indoor table. Super disappointed!!

    A great meal once again. The care given to all their dishes - from the appetizers to the main course to dessert. We enjoyed the halibut daily special which was perfectly prepared with a very tasty piquant sauce. We especially enjoy the roasted brussel sprouts appetizer. And the chocolate cake dessert was fantastic ! We will be back.
