We went for brunch. Lots of options. We both had bowls that were very yummy. It was busy when we went (Sunday at noon) and fairly noisy. But a good place for brunch and good food.

Overall it was an enjoyable night. Our waitress Amy took really good care of us. We had ceviche for starter, which was fresh and delicious. Chicken and root veggies for main, and it was plenty of food for two.

Went for thanksgiving dinner, great twist and good food. Unique drinks served with it. Our server seemed a bit off and as if she didn’t really want to serve us at first, but the service improved by the end of the meal. There was an extremely loud kids table, with kids sitting under the table with their iPads, but that’s not the restaurants fault.

Went again the next morning as we had complimentary breakfast vouchers from staying at the hotel the restaurant is located in. This was even better than the dinner. The service was okay - we were told conflicting things by the front desk and the server about our vouchers and she forgot our drinks for about 20 mins.

My daughter and I decided on this restaurant because of the reviews. We dressed up...over dressed. Very causal dining.
Food was good..flank steak, carrots and potatoes however I’ve had tastier. Portions decent. Dessert was good..pull apart bread.
It’s a smaller venue and quite open so was louder. Everyone was nicely social distanced.

We had a great Anniversary dinner. Spot near the window. Great food and many to share. Our server was awesome and brought a complimentary glass of bubbly when she found out it was our Anniversary.
Would go back when next in Banff.
We booked online and got confirmation quickly.

Stayed in Banff for a night and wanted a nice casual meal to celebrate our birthdays. I was keen to try Farm & Fire due to the locally sourced menu and LOVED that all the wines were Canadian. A good selection, including bubbly (thanks for the taster!), and after sharing a glass of the pink bubbly we had a bottle of white wine from Nova Scotia. Tasty but do note all wines have a hefty mark-up here.
Food was excellent and all sharing style. We had pig wings to start, then a veg and main and that was enough for the two of us.The porchetta (with crackling! Divine!) was the highlight - perfectly cooked, not too much fat as sometimes pork belly can be a bit too much fat for me. Our server was very busy but did a great job handling the full section and made some good recommendations. I would return with a bigger appetite next time so we can try more dishes!!

The food was outstanding, a wonderful addition to a rather monochromatic market. The fresh, locally sourced dishes were wonderful to find in a town that has only a few similar options. Service could have been a bit more attentive / knowledgeable about the product / beverages considering the efforts placed here by the restaurant. An excellent evening and highly recommended.

Started with: BBQ Marinated Pig Wings - Absolutely AMAZING! Fall apart, melt in your mouth meat, with unbelievable BBQ sauce. You will be scrapping this dish clean! Do not let the price of these steer you in a different direction - very well worth it.

Dinner to share: Charred Whole Corn on the Cob with Kimchi Aioli & Grilled Flank Steak (medium rare) - I could not get enough of this place and the food at this point. Everything was amazing and cooked to perfection.

Service was kind and helpful, very quick to everything. Very well priced dinner.

However, after reserving well ahead of time, stating it was an anniversary dinner, I would of preferred a better placed seat - we were right against a wall, one of us had a decent view, the other person was looking directly at a wall. They Host acknowledged our anniversary, but our server did not. Nothing special/extra was done. That was a bit disappointing.

The breakfast bowl was really delicious but the simple breakfast was very disappointing, the bread was not cooked fully and the bacon was raw. We had higher expectations. They also did not have a highchair, when I booked the reservation I requested one so it would have been nice to be informed there was not one ahead of time.

Hi Bear - we have 5 high chairs available within our restaurant and they are utilized in a first come first serve basis as we cannot predict how many children will be dining within each group. Some families bring in portable table attachments for their children's chairs which are a great tool to have during Covid. Our classic breakfast is our most common breakfast dish, so I'm surprised to hear this! Thank you for providing this information I will further discuss this with our culinary experts
