   I had booked a table for two but in fact the main cafe area didn't look busy from what I could see. We were in the area between the glitter ball table and a sofa area, which with hindsight wasn't best for a proper discussion, and next time I would ask for a different table, as it was a bit noisy due to other parties and the milk shake machine, and coffee machine. We felt a little in a corridor. The main cafe area looked brighter, but the decor is quite interesting. The coffee was very nice, usual price. Cakes looked pretty good, quite a few sponge cakes of different flavours, not many slices or any flapjacks or scones, but we didn't eat. The greeter was smiley but the young lady serving coffee was rather po-faced and didn't smile at all, she was also quite hard to hear. We were served quite quickly. It was fine, would try it again and the cakes next time.

   Really disappointed. The food was very overpriced and the menu was very limited. If I hadn’t had been a gift voucher for my birthday we would have gone elsewhere. I had a B.L.T it was so difficult to eat and not how it was described. When we came to pay I relayed my observation about my lunch to the very unfriendly member of staff who showed no concern at all. We will not be returning

   We went for brunch & from food to service to atmosphere and music it was all lovely and we had a wonderful morning with our children and dog

   Experience today wasn’t great. 3 of the breakfasts came out incorrect which had to be corrected. They didn’t have any blueberries for my little boys pancakes as on the menu so they had bananas instead which we agreed to, however the bananas never arrived. Food wasn’t hot, lukewarm. Also we had to queue for at least 10 minutes, maybe longer, to pay for our meals with 2 babies and a 4 year old getting impatient - no apology for the long wait given. Disappointing for the price

   Such poor service every time I visit here. Really lets it down. Feels like some investment in customer service environment training is a need here. 30 minute wait for drinks, after 50 minutes had to ask if our food was on its way, overall an hour wait for food to turn up room temperature with no follow up/check in once you have your food. Understand a bit more of a wait during busy periods but some acknowledgement from staff that we’re still waiting and a an apology would have been nice.

   My daughter-in-law and I were very disappointed with our visit on the 15th March. The food was presented beautifully but arrived cold and the vegetables on my plate were either overcooked and other undercooked. We waited quite a long time after ordering our drinks and then another long wait before our food was served. I really didn't think the food or service was value for money.. Very disappointing as when we've visited previously service and the food was very good.

   Our first Sunday lunch visit to Farm and Field Cafe after moving to Somerset from Australia 3 weeks ago. All I can say is “Excellent “, it is one of the best meals we have had since our return to the UK. Outstanding flavours and well cooked, I highly recommend to anyone considering Sunday lunch or any lunch out. Also for the Coeliacs amongst us the GF choices were plentiful and you definitely don’t miss out on a great Sunday lunch.

   Great food, but service lacked hugely. We had the disco table and had to order ourselves at the counter. As a group of 6, the food was processed via different tickets, the first dish coming out 10 minutes before the last. Cutlery and water isn’t even provided by the staff and we had to get it ourselves from another counter.

   Myself, my daughter and 2 granddaughters had breakfast here. Food was very nice, on the pricer side, but in lovely surroundings. My only complaint is that it was quite chilly in the restaurant, so we ended up eating with our coats on Would return. Definitely glad we visited. .

    Food was wonderful and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Two of our party were gluten free and we were accommodated for with kindness and reassurance from the chef, which was lovely. Our experience was superb and we’ll definitely be back. 🌸 The only thing we would recommend is that they turn the music down, it made conversation a shouting match, particularly when the room is full. Thank you all - we shall be back soon! 🫶🏻
