We opened our first location in 2018 and since have evolved with the changing times and the desires of our loyal customers.  FARIDA derives from the famous silk trade route which connected many trades and cultures creating a sprawling network enjoyed by millions for centuries. We are providing you with the opportunity to experience the flavors of many cultures all at one stop. Farida is a family-owned restaurant, we pride ourselves on including many different culinary and cultural influences. We serve a variety of unique cuisine made from scratch; hand-pulled noodles, handmade dumplings, UMKA pies, perfectly seasoned tender Shashlyk,delicious vegetarian dishes, authentic Uzbek brewed tea,homemade desserts. Not a place for foodies. I thought the flavors would be filled with exotic spices/ingredients, but this wasn't the case. All tasted as frozen, pre-booked meals served at room temperature to barely warm. Some in my group loved that they were trying this cuisine for the first time while others were skeptical of the place overall (the decor is overly done, sticky floors..) Service was okay; the attitude was pleasant, but all actions were taken after requesting it (which I find to be the norm at most restaurants in this post-COVID world).

Wonderful neighborhood gem with terrific food and service. Live music was a bit too loud at first, but they lowered it when we asked. The singer had a great voice.

We love Uzbek (Middle East) kitchen and discovered a gem in Wall Street district. The food was good. Planning to try more on the menu. Service is friendly except for the experience with the owner himself. Quite unpleasant and condescending. Otherwise, people working there are courteous and friendly. Special kudos for the performer.

Very nice staff. Owner had a birthday cake made when I said it was my friends ' birthdays. ($12/ slice- a bit pricey) but most of us liked it. The Cream was delicious, cake was a bit dry. Nice that they would make it for me. The mini puffs appetizer was delicious -came out cold, but we sent them back and they reheated them- pumpkin,steak,spinach and chicken( liked the chicken least). The entrees were yummy- plav and kebobs are mostly what my group ate.the decor was beautiful! Owner talked us into trying tumeric and lemon sodas. We shared- both were different but good. She also talked me into ordering the kale salad while we waited for entrees. Unfortunately it didn't arrive until after the entrees. That would be my one complaint. The kitchen isn't organized to serve all meals at the same time even though they asked and we requested to do so. They came out piecemeal. Overall a wonderful dinner. I would definitely go back!
